- Dak Prescott's return under center kickstarted the Dallas Cowboys a year ago. The Cowboys' signal caller got his group back to the playoffs as he threw a career-high 37 touchdowns. In the latest QB rankings, Dak found himself ranked 10th heading into the 2022 season. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe debate whether Dak is a Top 10 QB or not.

Lamar is only better as far as running but we are judging QBs not runningbacks.
Burrow has had only one good year he atleast need two full season at playing at a high level before he can be put over Dak. We have seen plenty of QBs that had one great year then decline.
Wilson didn't play well this past season and the last time they met in the playoffs Dak beat him.
These guys can be in the movies 🎥 It’s amazing how when the Cowboys fall behind its Dak’s fault and when the team brings them back into the game it’s a team. Why didn’t we hear this about D. Watson in his last full season. Texans won only 4 games and 2 of those were against the Jags.

Dak has this surefire but understated charisma; intensely competitive and supremely confident, yet somehow decent and humble. Natural leader, and such an exciting player. He’s on America’s team. He’s an underdog. He perseveres through adversity. You wanna love the guy.
He took that next step as the Cowboys leaned more into passing. I really came around to the idea that he was just destined to win a Super Bowl. But with what we saw in 2019 & 2021 (shame what happened in 2020 after that monster start) whether it’s him or The Cowboys Organization, it just doesn’t translate to winning. It doesn’t translate to making *the* play in *the* game, as Skip says. And it’s crazy to me that I was ever so convinced that he is a Super Bowl winning QB. Because now it is impossible to imagine.

Im a dallas cowboys fan and a realist and I was shocked as well to see dak top 10 QB I have him 15th on the list because of his inconsistencies and his 1-3 record in the playoffs and I'm sorry but dallas will take a step or two backwards with the key player gone from the team and I just don't quite believe in ceedee lamb as the number 1 receiver yet he had way too many drop ball to be a number 1 but we will see how that works out and we lost Collins, and Cooper, Gregory and other key players to free agency

@@weebo7026 the second half of the year, our defense was dominant. Dak put up 9 points against the Chiefs. Went 3 and out in OT vs LV. The problem was the offense being wildly inconsistent. Idk what research you did, but maybe watch some games.

Cooper was always hurt and rarely showed up when it mattered. Gregory was an idiot that always committed penalties at the worst moments. I’ll get to Dak later, but are you serious? Herbert at #7, dude hasn’t even made the playoffs. Deshaun at 9? The man hasn’t played in a year and prolly won’t play most of next year, and Lamar isn’t even on here at all? Lamar’s made the playoffs every year he’s played except for this year when he got hurt, and won an MVP the only player other than Tom Brady to win it unanimously, and the Ravens (who were the most injured team this year) while he was still playing they were at one point a top 3 team in the AFC. He’s gotten them the number one seed in his MVP year. His record as a starter is 37-12. He’s been second in QBR the last three seasons only to Mahomes who’s on here. He destroyed Deshaun the last time they played against each-other and destroyed Herbert the last time they played against each-other earlier this season. Dak being overrated at 10 goes without saying, that was just pure stupidity. Some of the guys on this list haven’t even gotten close to winning the division, let alone winning the MVP and Lamar has done both. Bruh this top 10 list should be thrown in the deepest parts of the ocean never to be seen from again.

Nah man. He’s made horrible mistakes, but Watson is far superior to Lamar as a QB. At the end of the day, running as a QB isn’t the key to winning a super bowl. It’s decision making, leadership, and ability to make any throw. Sorry to inform you, Lamar is a RB who throws really well. He doesn’t have the arm talent that Deshaun does.

As a Cowboys fan, I wonder about Dak. Last season he looked like Aaron Roger's in the 1st half of the season. But in the 2cnd half, after the injury, Dak couldn't even complete a pass to a wide open player 15 yrds away?! It got a little better later, not much. So going in to face the 49rs in the playoffs, I knew we were doomed.
It wasn't because of no damn injury. The competition got better. He played against weaker opponents early. And yes TB had a weak secondary Especially the first game of the season

Daks inconsistency really comes from the fact he can't handle being under pressure. If that line collapses on him quicker than he's expected he's a complete deer in the headlights, all he knows what to do in that situation is run and hope his legs can make something happen.

I'm gonna make a prediction. Dak comes out firing yet again early in the season. But drops of significantly by mid to end of season. Dak has had talent on offense. But Zeke has not been consistent. The coaching has been horrible and the defense has been bad...so it's a team game. I gotta put him ahead of those honorable mentions.

I think Dak is pretty good. I would not put him in the top 7 of QBs. I feel like the coaching overall of Dallas and the play calling on Offense has lacked at times. That offense doesn't score enough. I can blame some on Dak but not nearly all of it.
