You could get by, by saying 'como te va', but isn't it technically 'como te vas' or 'como le va' when addressing someone older. Also, the h is not pronouced in hacer derivatives, because h is silent, No?
Hey thanks for the comment, I'm going by what I've heard native speakers say & I've heard them say "cómo te va" frequently but not "cómo te vas"... In Spain I've heard "como vas" though as well but there's so many different phrases around different Spanish speaking countries.. That's right, no pronunciation of the H
Like your stuff but concerned about your pronunciation, obvioulsly not a native speaker, Why pronounce fin with English i? Surely Spanish pronouce it as FEEN
Hey thanks for the comment. No I'm learning Spanish & just want to help others learn as I love the language. Wow I've been studying the language for years & literally just went to Barcelona last month but you're right, that's how it should be pronounced. I'm shocked none of my teachers have picked up on this as I study with them regularly every week so thanks, I can make that adjustment.
Excited until I heard the accent. Don’t get me wrong you have a nice voice and accent. I just don’t want to learn a non-Spanish accent. This sounds like an Australian mispronouncing accents/words.
Fair enough, you have to find people that resonate with you personally & that's different for everyone. I agree, I think 70-80% of your learning should come from natives, which is the case with me, most of my teachers are natives but I also learn from non natives 20% of the time as they can explain certain structures differently that make sense for me as a native english speaker. Good luck with it all
First time watcher... Years learning Spanish. I don't want to discourage you but, your pronunciation is probably not the best to be teaching. I have no problem with you working along side a native speaker who can correct you as you go, but this is just not the best for new learners
Thanks for the comment, yes I'm learning Spanish & the point of my channel is to help Spanish beginners who are learning the language outside of a Spanish speaking country. That's your opinion & I appreciate you for sharing that. I think I can give some value to people who are having trouble with learning the language outside of a Spanish speaking country but we'll see, I could be wrong
Don’t be discouraged about any criticisms regarding pronounciation they are purists and probably proficient beyond this video anyway. But from the ‘gringos’ perspective the video has both consolidated and progressed my own Spanish knowledge so thank you….
@@markpowellmpgracias mi amigo 😃 definitely not discouraged, it's all part of the process of learning. Some ppl will find this useful & some won't and that's completely fine. Appreciate your kind words

Perfecto pero te falta algo de pronunciation la e en español no es muda y tu no la estas diciendo, estas diciendo "comos tas" y no ¡como estás!
Hola Margaret, muchísimas gracias por la recomendación 😃 Tengo que decir 'gracias' porque somos una comunidad de personas que quieren aprender más
