Did the sandflies not bother you in Milford? There are masses of them normally.
I did the one day kayak on Milford and the next two days on Doubtful Sound Doubtful won hands down so much less traffic.

When I was in the NZ Navy (doing fishery patrols) we use too park the patrol vessels under the waterfalls and fill up our fresh water tanks... we were as close as you were and the depth on the depth sounder was 30 metres deep ... as for the rainfall... Ummm it is a rain forest ;-)

Yay, more NZ footage! This was such a great vlog. I love the more leisurely pace that's typical of your videos, but this was a nice change with quick clips of your whole day mashed together (with great music, as usual). I think it gave more life and energy to the video as a whole. I'll definitely need to remember to go kayaking in the fjord. That looked amazing!

I was just there but was on a cruise ship. I think your adventure in Milford Sound was WAY better! Stunning views. I saw similar views on the Yangtze River in China but I don’t think it can compare to Fiordland National Park.

I went to China in 2014 and was just in New Zealand a couple of weeks ago! I think you two would love China & the Yangtze is a must!

@@andreahamre7334 Is it always that nasal? I can almost see Ashley push her tongue up through her nose (watch!). We have a very similar accent in the UK, it's Bimingham. The louder Ashley gets, the more nasal she gets. And being American, and she does get very loud, really really loud, all Americans do. Josh is alright though.
