I installed those Vans vents in my CH801. They work pretty good.

It's going to be worth it when you get fresh air when it's really hot looks awesome buddy

Don't forget to allow for the thickness of the paint. Speaking from experience. 😂 Tools - take a look at vampliers. They are great for removing rounded nuts and bolts.

    Another great video!
Thanks for the tool recommendations. I think I found the snips on Amazon, didn't quite find the exact pneumatic sander.
    Thanks again!

Be careful using a pencil on aluminum. Little bits of the pencil lead(carbon) might not fully be removed and can cause galvanic corrosion. Might take a long time for it to show up, but still can end up being a problem.

Started looking at the slim pneumatic belt sanders. Would you recommend the 1/2" or 3/8" version? What's your favorite gritt of belt? @TNFlyingFarmer

Do you add bug screens for the rectangular vents?

You forgot to subtract the weight of the aluminum you cut out. In reality you remove the “outer skin” of the vent you are adding: Just weigh the doubler, the screws, and the pivot bracket.
