Except for hdr10plus which is barely available anyway looks like most content is sdr, dv and sometimes hdr and occasionally hdr10plus Good colors, except for some green and red scenes while whites are better. Multiple easy to access options for screen adjustments. Good motion processing 5 yr warranty Multiple ports such as enough hdmi 2.1.
They’re just saying it’s the best bang for your buck. The best for most people. They also acknowledge that other TVs, like the G4 are better, but at what cost?

Samsung is doing great in oled panels, people tend to forget the A95L literally has a Samsung panel. Don’t get me wrong the A95L is the best oled overall but people bashing on Samsung for no reason.
I got the (Canadian equivalent of the) Hisense U7N this summer in part thanks to your review! Very happy with it a couple months in, even with its limitations. Thanks for everything you do!
Abby, I bought the Samsung S90D largely but not solely on your review and recommendation. It is absolutely spectacular with a stunning picture just using the movie setting right out of the box with no calibration. And this is coming from someone who has owned Samsung’s top of the line plasma TVs for over a decade. Thank-you very much for your comprehensive and candid reviews.
Returning my 83" LG G4 for the 85" Bravia 9. Why? PLEX TrueHD doesn't work on LG app which breaks video playback (yes, you can use a ShieldTV). Sony and AndroidTV doesn't have that problem and plays back properly.
@@noybiznatch 8' distance in a light controlled room. My usage is 75% movies (PLEX) and 25% computer/studio production (which is another reason I should ditch OLED). I already had a Bravia 9 85" 2 months ago and it's almost perfect except the native contrast isn't as good as it could be.

@@jakubdostal3649they’re both QD panels, so unless you like completely over saturated unrealistic colors, it doesn’t matter. Hardly any content is able of displaying the full potential on QD as it is. A95L and S90D should not be in the same conversation.
Qd-oleds are better for HDR all-around. So anything from S90C/S95C/S90D (this model comes in both woled and qd-oled unfortunately), S95D. Sony's have increased input lag.
I work at a tech store and samsung on all price points flagship OLEDs to there crystals and qled highly disappointed in there quality and QC control there poorly built and break easily our qn90D display broke in 3 days and the 8k the same the s90d lasted 2 months on display and had 30 customers come back to the store because the tv was defective or broken. And my personal 8k tv the one connect box broke in 2 months I'll never buy or recommend samsung get a Hisense or TCL LG or sony
Been loving my LG 65" OLED B7 for years and I'll definitely get another LG (probably 77"+ G4 for MLA) Can't stand Samsung or Sony. Panasonic would be an option.. I respect them since the Plasma days.
The best tv depends on the person's needs. For me, my use is 50% movies-series and 50% gaming, LG G4 is hands down the best tv I can buy. I would never buy a Samsung, I blacklisted them after the fake reviews fiasco of 2021, they had a program in their tvs that was giving fake numbers to the reviewers and in the real use case scenarios the numbers were way lower. The way this was contained mostly and didn't result in a massive lawsuit is still baffling me to this day. I would also never pay the Sony tax.

Then the holes and dungeons opened and all kinds of people are somehow relating and getting samsung into the discussion.. This shits started years ago on internet forums where suddenly students showing up bad mouthing other brands especially in phone discussions, it turned out they were paid by samsung (marketing) to do this. All the fanboi and trolling does not contribute positively to electronics discussions at all. I want to know what the electronics can and cant do factually. What I miss in the discussions are comments from repair shop people and how the turnback rates are. Build quality is important for me..

I have a Sony x900e 65inch. I should have gone with a 85inch because that’s what I want. I want a 85inch with a nice picture @ 120hz for gaming and movies is what I want.
I love the professional presentation and the addition of the odd “fun” comment to keep things interesting and inject personality. I’m sure there are only so many times anyone could talk about the same products without having a little fun. It’s what makes this more than a listical with an AI voiceover and worth subscribing.
Since everyone knows buying a current year model TV is for suckers, the A80L from last year is the most no brainer purchase right now by far. Of course the 95L is superior in every way but that comes with costs that most everyone either won't have or choose not to have vs. buying a sound bar, etc. And for the only other argument against it, anyone saying OLED isn't bright enough is simply parroting what they've heard on the internet from other LCD apologists or they have legitimate eye issues as it relates to brightness detail. A80L for the masses 🙌💪

I didn’t listen and went ahead with Sony A80L 65 instead. But it’s amazing in dark rooms or at night with “Live Color” set to high. Can’t complain

Good tv but relative expensive compared to other ‘comparable’ tv’s.
Disadvantage: not a gamer friendly tv: port wise and brightness wise.

s90D is king at the price as of right now. 55 inch QD oled is 1400.
Cant justify the pricing on 77" a95L even though it is the best one for home theater...

For SDR the LG is better and for HDR the S90D is way better, to put it simply.
Picked up an LG B4 48 for an entry level oled for my bedroom. I got it on sale for $750 at Best Buy. Absolutely love it! Gaming on it is awesome.
