With dead branch, please play your exhaustible cheap cards (i.e. shivs) before bullet time. That way, you can make the cards that get added cost zero instead of just hoping you can afford to play them.
What is there not to understand about question card? You can choose from an extra card on card reward screens, which increases the odds of you finding a card you're looking for by 33%'

NL my boy. Thread and needle blocked a total of 7 damage on the final fight. On the turn where the boss dealt 45 while weak, paper crane would have made that 36. (60 was the base damage, 45 is 25% off, 36 is 40% off). So on that turn alone, paper crane would have prevented 9 damage. I'm not gonna pick apart the whole fight but I just want you to know paper crane is *extremely* good for the deck you had. Your enemies were weak all the time. Much luv and respec.
@Northernlion I think the main problem was that the decks main source of block was obtained through after image and the heart negates it completely. Maybe 2 after images is necessary in a shiv deck that intends to tackle the heart.

Win or lose, you have fun, and that means we have fun. :) Now, you've been mentioning a lot that you want to be better, and I can see that many of the commenters are already trying to give advices - many times a bit salt flavoured ones, too -, and that's something I can't give you since I'm bad at this game, but I think I have a broader advice to give. Rewatch some of your own videos. Preferably those older than 2-3 weeks, and mainly those that you lost, with a few that you've won. The point is to rewatch your own gameplay while not remembering what you did, which gives you an outsider's perspective instead of the usual insider's. And since you don't have to focus on commentary, you can just lay back and think of the things happening in the video, evaluating your own choices as if they were someone else's. It's bound to give you some insight about where you could improve your gameplay, what sort of mistakes do you usually make, and so on. It's what esports players do, it's what actual sports players do, so it's likely to do you good. Obviously it takes some time, though, if the episode is 40-50 minutes long or more, but if you have some free time, it's definitely worth it in my opinion. :) Cheers!

NL, some advice when facing the potato enemy with plated armor on the 2nd floor: Try to prioritize high damage attacks first. If you have a neutralize that does 5 damage and a strike that does 8 and he has 7 plated armor left, playing the strike then the neutralize will get rid of 2 more plated armor, since two attacks have pierced him, while neutralize then strike will only get rid of 1 plated armor, since only the strike pierces the armor. In this run it didn't make a difference but it can be a life saver on others!
If he played Calculated Gamble before the Defend at 29:00, he could make it work. Then it would a ***ahem*** calculated gamble whether he'd draw some ability to defend.

Idk If it's bad luck but iron clad is like feast and famine. Either I have god runs or garbage. I can always get to act 3 late at least with defect. Just super flexible. Ironclad feels like either you break your strength or you get no strength and lose
