This is so interesting and beautiful. I'm planning a planted tank and I saw the episode of tank tested with your new line of artificial hardscape and plants. I have to say,I was blown away!!! I was planning on making a video of my own journey,because I'm absolutely a beginner...but this is so unique and beautiful I'm thinking about maybe trying some of your products... I have a 20 gallon extra tall tank and some of your wood is just stunning.. and the lighting... Wow I'm just speechless! I will be following to see what all kind of neat stuff you all have!! If the fade can be turned off or slowed down extremely the this is the greatest thing ever

I am planning on buying one for my SeaClear Acrylic Aquarium, can you tell me if this will fit securely on this tank? The top of the aquarium is all together but for a few large holes so I want to make sure it will stay on safely.
Hey, does the backlight activated alone without the top lightning influence plantgrowth? Would it stress the plants if turned on in the evening like a sunset? Thx

When did this come out? I purchased a current light few months back and never saw this 😡 This is so awesome! Will my existing current satellite plus work with this? Will there be a package with the back lighting and sound only? Or are you only selling a package with top + back lights?
The Serene LED came out late last year. The Back Lighting kit was launched last month, so its available now. :)
Well I guess I know what my new build will include. Going to use it on a fluval megaflex 32.5. Wife is going to be pissed lol.

Hi Dime, yes, you can turn the whitenoise off and hobbyists do use them as plant lights in terrariums and paludariums.

Yes, the lighting kit includes a frosted glass background material that is simple to install and diffuses the light over the back of the aquarium.
Is this type of background lighting safe for discus fish? I know there are certain fish that get spooked easily and require dim lighting....
Hi Wendy - yes, they work fine with discus. You can also change/adjust the intensity to 50% brightness - but once they are adjusted to it, the background light has no stress/shocking effects on the fish.
Does the background light go outside or inside the tank?
It is meant to be mounted outside the tank, on the bottom, shining about 45 degrees up to help project the color. It comes with a transparent with speckles "film" you install to help spread the light. It's great!
Is this light good to grow plants with?
Only low/medium light plants. The SereneSun PRO is better for high light requiring plants.

I know the music can be switched off but it still inflates the price if you have to buy it with that, do you sell ones without the music? because I would get bored of that pretty quickly. If you don’t then you really should before some other company fills that niche
Yes - the fixtures and background lights are all available for purchase separately. The audio is a program, so it doesn't inflate the price at all.
so where is the audio then ????????????????????????????
The binaural audio is built into the controller, you can hear one program playing in the background of this video.
