the TR-707 looks so small compared to the RD-8!

I was thinking about using another drum machine with my tr-707 too for the kick since the rest of the sounds on the 707 aren't too bad. Just the kick drum lacking enough punch. Nice live set.

Thanks :) …. Yeah i see what you mean. But i really like sounds and kick of the 707 … through a PA the kick has punch … try it with an subwoover and it,s a smack in the face. When used with a mixer, ew and effects via direct outs it‘s a comletly different machine … it has it‘s own charakter and so many classics it‘s been used on … chicago house wouldn‘t be the same without. But it‘s aleays what people do with it - just make music. And have gun - cheers my friend :)

Get a Behringer RD-9 … or TR-8 …

@@alphacats3192 Yeah I was thinking of using a compressor to beef up the kick a bit. I also have a RD-8 & a Drumbrute that I can always use for a kick.
