    Nice fish, well done! Any luck on the other non black and gold paddletails colours?

    • @FishingForeverFilms
      @FishingForeverFilms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Frikkie Wolmarans absolutely mate, all of the colours are deadly. My favourite colour is black and gold because it puts out more of a silhouette

    Hello - been watching your videos as my son and I are going to fish the Hydro Canals at the end of June and looking for tips and hints. We'll be driving from Ch'ch and have just 2 full days, so any advice as to where we might head (and where to not bother!) would be much appreciated. Cheers in advance.

    another good video mate, that first fish was incredibly lanky, hes been going far too long without breakfast, no wonder there was no fight in the poor bugger, some nice fish you did get afterwards, 'noice'

    Hi, appreciate the videos. Are these the savage gear paddle tails? Whats your preferred Jighead with them?

    • @FishingForeverFilms
      @FishingForeverFilms  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mike and Jo Joyes nope these are Berkley soft plastics, these are 100% more effective than the Savage Gear ones. These are more natural in colour and are much smaller, plus are softer which accounts for more bites

  • @slooob23
    @slooob23 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you ever eat any of the trout?

    • @FishingForeverFilms
      @FishingForeverFilms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      slooob23 not really, tend to just release them as they’re cool fish. Don’t get me wrong they taste good if you get them from clean waterways but I’d rather take fish from the salt to eat

    • @slooob23
      @slooob23 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FishingForeverFilms I'm thinking of going for some sea run browns over here on the West Coast for eating, I'm told they're better than lake fish etc.

    • @FishingForeverFilms
      @FishingForeverFilms  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      slooob23 absolutely, sea runners are the ducks nuts! Taste brilliant and fight hard
