What weight jig did you have on? also.... how do you let it drop to the bottom every time and barely ever snag? Whenever I wait to hit bottom then try reel in I snag about 10% of the time! :S

Hamish Mills in this video I was fishing a 1/12th jighead and a black and gold paddletail soft plastic. Pretty simple, it’s just a sandy/ weedy bottom here so I was fishing just up off the bottom

Your best bet would be to go to a fishing store, get some gear for the area you’re fishing in and get a fishing licence
