That horrible scene of carnage from Craft firing Ragnarok on Neo Arcadia really drives home how dark the events of Zero 4 are, especially the crying girl.
I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that the voice talking to Zero’s unconscious body at the end there is Wily. Dr. Wily must have grabbed Zero’s soul (after being freed from his body) and stuffed it inside a new and improved body Wily built inside Cyberspace. Since Wily is a cyber being like Dr. Light (who can affect the physical world as seen n X5) Wily can rebuild his “Masterpiece” as demonstrated here.
Wonder what his plans with Zero would be now, since he didn't seem to change his personality (at least not for now) what kind of bonzi buddy did he put inside him this time?
No idea. His role in the story is a mystery for the time being. The guys making the game have done everything to minimize plot relevant details so it could be anything. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if Wily tried to setup an “X VS Zero take 2 “ or something similar. X is going to be in the game and you can’t have X without Dr. Light being that far behind. And wherever Dr. Light’s creations go, Wily will always be there in the shadows watching from behind the scenes (because Wherever X goes, Zero always to follows).
Is there a point? I mean Dr. Wily dream of creating the ultimate robot hero have come true. What else is there for him? Desire for redemption for all the crimes he did perhaps?

Light and the original Mega Man are long gone now, X is no more, the world is barely keeping itself together anymore at this point, and all of it can be traced back to that virus he put in Zero. I think it's safe to say even Wily's ghost would eventually have a wake-up call and realize his grudge just ain't worth it anymore. Hard to believe, I know, but if "Isoc's" final words in X6 are anything to go by, "Go, Zero. You are the strongest robot.", it wouldn't be *completely* out of left field.
The VA performance is actually pretty good ngl. Although, I kinda wish the way Ciel calls out to Zero in 3:32 are more similar to how Ciel's Japanese VA do it in the Audio Drama track. Seriously, her scream was like a dagger to your heart. You can literally feel the sadness and pain in her voice calling out to Zero. I still find it weird that we never got a single reference to Wily throughout the entire Zero series. There were plenty of references to the events of the X Series, but never Wily, not even in Zero 3 which was supposed to cap off Zero's entire amnesia arc. You'd think Wily's ghost would've appeared there during the final battle with Omega, and say something like *"What are you waiting for? Why are you hesitating? Destroy that imposter! You are the real one, my true masterpiece! Not that fake standing before you! I only created YOU! He may have your body, your powers even.... but not your mind, or your soul! Now destroy him! You are the true... Zero!"* but no. Nothing.

Another thing worth mentioning: on omega zero's Battlefield, there is a W on the background, you have to move a bit to the left in order to see it. The left side of arena, is where the battle starts, and ends with zero landing the final hit on omega. Which means that, not only we indeed control the real Zero, but also that Wily's legacy still lives on, also helping on paving the road to Dr.Light's dream...
I see you use the same power up used in castlevania SoN when Richter supose to die againts dracula and maria gave him immortality, really nice touche and what a great scene!!
I appreciate the voice acting, it sounds amazing. But if there's one criticism i could point out is, the overuse of sound effect, perhaps lower the sound effect volume at least, especially on the jump sound its loud and for the high pace the game is it would be a bit annoying to hear it as loud as it is. Also maybe if theres a possibility, make certain attacks not proc a sound all the time, example, the jump slash. Making certain voice sounds not always happen makes it more dynamic and also gives breathing space on sound effects. Keep up the good work, im actually going to download the demo later and play it for myself. This is looking amazing.

Ciel’s voice sounds nice but it’s mostly okay , it sounds like a little girl rather than what she actually is . I think Luna Love sounds better in the pre ZX animatic as Ciel but that’s just me .
@@jackwalker5421 I checked the wiki page's platform bit, it had comadore 64 also... So would it still work with RetroArch's comadore cores? The reason I ask is cause I find pc controls pretty difficult to use when playing games.
@@Gittykitty I'm not sure which wiki page you're referring to but we most certainly aren't releasing this on Commodore 64. Retroarch is for emulators, this game isn't emulated. You can use a gamepad if that's what you're getting at.

The effect you gave Weil’s final form on the bottom is a really neat edition it’s like the parts he used for his new form has a mind of it’s own

The juxtaposition between a child crying over their dead parent then a resistance soldier carrying a rescued dog is quite something.
