With all due respect to Richonne, I agree. I was pretty much 'meh' about this spin off. It had some bright spots, but mostly I found it repetitive, rushed, expository, basically lazy story telling. Daryl Dixon has been the best spin off so far (even if Lauren's messiah arc borders on cliche). Even Dead City had a tighter plot line, so far. I would have loved to see more Rick escape attempts and lot less of Michonne badgering Rick into trying to escape just one more time. That whole annoying back and forth arguing crap over four episodes could have been accomplished in one epic speech by Michonne. I re-watch the original series from time and time and the qaulity writing, tight plots and character development has been almost, if not completely lost.

It’s sad to say but the franchise has been on a steady decline since season 7 of the original show. Thanks for the great comment!

Very enjoyable series and a fun ride to watch. Rick & Michonnes kill count is ♾️ at this point lol honestly Rick Grimes is the walking dead to me so this was a return to form of the previous seasons that I enjoyed . That reunion at the end was so well earned and deserved❤ The CRM served its purpose: in this series it was a plot device to create friction between Rick & Michonne . They effectively “cut the head off the snake” by killing Beale so that the power vacuum could be taken over by the republic. If this is the last that we see of Rick & Michonne I’m just happy that they got a perfect ending. I would love to see Andy and Danai return a special guest so that the entire main cast can be reunited.

Agreed on all counts. I’d say though, it all felt lazy. Since like season 8 or 9 of the main show really. I’d say less superhero on the main show and more like a Disney show. But everything is so convenient, nobody acts like real people, and everything is extravagant, but nothing feels like it matters. It’s exhausting.

It’s sad to see how far the franchise has fallen over the years. Thanks for the comment!

i think that’s the point rick has been there for years and in a way it broke him which makes sense
