- Today I take you through all the evidence I could gather on what the leaders of the Commonwealth knew about the Civic Republic Military, before the Commonwealth Revolution.

Several comments asking about the full reason why Omaha was destroyed. There was no one big reason, and like real life, the military had several reasons to do so that would benefit them.
-Resource drain. Omaha was unable to contribute as much as the CRM was according to their projections, and would deplete the CRM needlessly if this continued.
-They wanted to test their modified chlorine gas for Project Volus and capture a bunch of recently reanimated test subjects for their project to cure the Wildfire Virus.
-Politics: The Civic Republic Military is essentially its own government that has been running the civilian Civic Republic. From what we know from both the World Beyond and Ones Who Live, the military would hand back control of the government to the civilians after 10 years, but oh no a large city was overrun and the world is still dangerous, the military must remain in power for longer. Nearly all of the civilians have no idea what the military has been up to all this time, and even within the military, only about 10% are actually corrupt and evil.
-New World Order: It’s not enough to be the most powerful remaining power in the world, they must be the ONLY remaining power. With their 500 year plan and taking out any major powers who could pose a threat, they want to remake the world in their image. Omaha was just one of the first major steps.
That is true and also the fact that "The Commonwealth" could become a potential threat to them. I imagine Ezikiel would want expansion to be a primary goal for them, alliances with other potential citizens and resources, so yes they could become a credible threat to them.
The part I dont understand is that if they destroyed Omaha and Portland for not being "Self-sustaining"...Wouldnt you love Alexandria, OceanSide, and Hilltop? Why would you do business with a bunch of people in a Junkyard but wanna kill Rick? You would think he can say "Hey I got 1000 people that listen to me and if you give us resources we can work together"
Omaha was probably a giant A to them
@@DeathBYDesign666commonwealth is definitely a threat to CRM, especially if they treat strong people with leadership capabilities as a threat, no doubt a society like commonwealth would be a huge threat to them. I’m surprised they’re not aware of them yet
Also and this is the main reason the CRM where ran by flipping power hungry lunatics.
I mean if the CRM found out about Campus Coloney and Omaha, and also a little Junkyard group - How couldn’t they find the Commonwealth, a population of 50,000?
Yeah its strange
Maybe they don’t pose a threat and are self-sustaining unlike Omaha.
@@yslchristianhow was omaha getting rowdy? i watched the first 3 episodoes but i still dont understand why they bombed them
I think the Commonwealth is strong enough that it stands as like a lifeboat just in case so that anything that took down the CRM wouldn’t necessarily take down the Commonwealth
@@moneymikr7349Because omaha was using up a lot of the crm resources and still not self sustaining
It's funny how the best that the Commonwealth can do is record a commercial on VHS casette tapes and show it to people on an old CRT box television, when the CRM has working cable and a news broadcast lmao. The city remains as before the apocalypse. The Commonwealth was only preserved.
I'm not so sure. The TV in World Beyond and Ones Who live looks like a low budget public access channel. Philadelphia lacks any form of vehicle traffic. Not even a car or two passed by. And their farmer's market looked like something out of the Commonwealth. The Civic Republic is thriving, but it's essentially a bigger Commonwealth. I was hoping to see something like occasional cars and people talking on cell phones to make it stand out from what we saw in Season 12.
@@Estelle2007yeah it really is just a Commonwealth with an Air Force and possible navy. The Commonwealth had landline phones to. All the CRM really is, is more people, a little more technology and a stronger military
@@XrX8cX I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed. Where did it imply an a navy, though? That would be cool to see. But anyway, you're right. The military and their research facilities are the only aspect that's more advanced. I hope we do get to see more modern conveniences in Philadelphia as the series goes on, but I get the feeling the writers won't care much about the lore/worldbuilding that doesn't immediately involve the main characters. I mean, It took the second to last episode of Season 12 for us to even get a blurry establishing shot of the Commonwealth's exterior, a look at the gates and a proper map of that settlement.
@@Estelle2007 the boat Michonne uses with the people from Virgil's island. Had a bunch of ricks stuff and diesel that wasn't bad. I would assume they have at least one more
@@Estelle2007I was also looking for the odd car amongst the CRP elite, perhaps ward councillors would get access to a chauffeur driven car as a perk of office.
Mobile phones wouldn’t be allowed because of the security risk but I’m certain landlines function in Philly, we know basic utilities are restored like air con, water & piped gas. Broadcast TV is a recent return & looks like low budget telly however it seems an odd security omission as the broadcasts might be detected elsewhere.
I do think CRM would have a limited Green water navy as Philly is a port city with all the old US Navy ships & some serving port personnel. I think it likely that the cities power is derived from a nuclear powered ship in addition to the wind farms. Conversely Commonwealth seems to be coal powered, likely dug up by slave labour in the outposts. Also I’m certain Civic Republic is the source of oil production for its own military & traded with Commonwealth.
CRP is still a post apocalyptic society within those limits & a still small population of 250,000 which limits its economy of scale & abilities to produce specialist products. It’s essentially a step back to living within walking distance of work c1900 as is Commonwealth but not a total regression to subsistence agriculture like the wastelands.
CRP feels a half step ahead of Commonwealth but I too was expecting more of a full step ahead. Perhaps it’s too soon to tell as we have only short internal glimpses of the city itself described as a “remnant of the life we once knew” in Michonne’s B interview by the soldier. It’s certainly much closer to anything else portrayed in universe with the exception of Commonwealth.
Commonwealth isn’t a true threat to the CRM, and are self-sustaining and civilized. Also close enough to keep them under surveillance but not in the security zone.
It's also true that the Civil Republic takes its secrecy REAL seriously. Given the way things are trending with the CRM's relationships with its "allies" in Portland and Omaha, it's quite possible that after they learned about the Commonwealth, CRM leaders decided that this time, just "staying" secret was smarter than adding more members to the club.
I think Ezekiel, Mercer, Daryl and Carol never finding out about the deal is simple, they forgot about Designation 2.😂

I reckon the CRM left the commonwealth alone because the commonwealth was self sustaining, unlike Omaha which is why they killed them all
If the CRM tried to attack the COMMONWEALTH it would be a huge risk because the Commonwealth have a huge military.
How is Omaha not self sustaining. To even reach 80k u need agriculture.
Plus crm also does resource runs
@@ALV694 Jadis says in ‘The world beyond’ that Omaha would never of been self sufficient and that it would eventually become a strain on the CRM
Seems like the common wealth also gave people to the crm which most likely established a little secret alliance
@@ALV694 They could have been in drought conditions for years though and they cant just move that many people out by helicopter when nobody is supposed to know about it's existence. fleets of helicopters would have been kinda hard to hide. It was totally militaristic math.
I wish we got more with the Commonwealth and CRM. There was so much they could’ve done with these storylines, dammit Gimple.
Shut up
One thing you didn't mention that I found interesting in TWD S 11 was that When Rosita investigates Tyler Davis's apartment, she finds that the rebels had drawings of CRM soldier helmets as well as Commonweath stormtrooper helmets in their literature and posters. She had no idea what she was seeing, but eagle-eyed viewers recognized it.
That at least would prove that he saw or heard descriptions of CRM soldiers and didn’t have a high opinion of them. How and why they would be close enough for him or someone he knew to see is anyone’s guess
@@jaredwilliams2357Yeah, I really hoped they would explore this angle. Maybe some of the rebels saw Lance commiserating with CRM people outside the city on some kind of hard labor clean-up mission or something.
What I thought they were building to --- and it could still happen I suppose --- is that Rick would end up on the CRM side while all of his people are on the Commonwealth side and there would be a conflict. Who would we root for?
But Ty's right. There's absolutely zero chance that the CRM doesn't know about the Commonwealth. And I agree, it must be a no-fly zone to keep them as much of a secret as possible.
@@sisterdebmac If that’s the case I wonder why the CRM is still so hands off even after the government change in the commonwealth, especially considering they wiped out Omaha, a partner city, over a lack of self sufficiency
it might be because the commonwealth is already self sustaining, so the crm may not want to bother them@@jaredwilliams2357
@@jaredwilliams2357 Bigger fish to fry. They finished off Omaha, then were gearing up to go after Portland. Following this, based on Beale's remarks, they planned to consolidate power by striking other organized groups on the continent, which implies a move against communities such as the Commonwealth.
On the other hand, it sounds like the Commonwealth had a secret alliance with the CRM already. It's possible they traded more than just people but also other supplies such as food.
The CRM may not have seen the Commonwealth as a real threat. At least for the time being.
Thankfully, Beale's rogue column was wiped out, thus preventing anymore genocides on the continent.
I want to see how the CRM will react to the new leadership of the Commonwealth, they may send Rick to get a SITREP from the CW and open up a whole bunch of crazy situations being the CRM doesn't know his affiliation with the new leaders.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but truthfully im far more interested in T.O.W.L. in the sense of what Rick does with the CRM the the relationship with Michonne on that i couldn't care less.
I agree. I was lowkey pissed off michonne kept fucking everything up
The end of TWD comes months after The Ones Who Live, this would explain why the CRM didn't make contact with the Commonwealth after Ezekiel and Mercer became the leaders of the community
You're Channel Is a real treasure for twd fans like me❤
Daryl and Rosita however found pictures and blankets with people wearing what looked like helmets and face masks, that looked like CRM soldiers. That found that stuff cause a former soldier mentioned that there were more people who will rise up. Sadly they never followed up on that.
Which episode?
Oh yeah I remember that
@@topsdaily_productions Season 11, idk which episode but between episode 16-24. They never followed up on that story sadly.
@@matthewertle6669 i found the scene it's episode 10
@@topsdaily_productions it's a commonwealth's soldier mask painted black on a white blanket, doesn't seem to be any crm connection, there is a pilot mask that he wanted to paint on, is that what u call a crm connection ?
Ohio has enormous amounts of corn farming, so I figured that the Commonwealth's vehicles were being fueled with biodiesel.
It’s almost all grown for animal feed too so biofuel would make a lot of sense.
They 100% knew of each other. I think it was more of a "stay away from us, we'll stay away from you" relationship, and I think Lance was worried that if leadership in the Commonwealth was shaken up, the Civic Republic Military would take notice and view them as a threat.
I never liked anything since S6, but watched anyway. Rick is the only reason I started watching TWD in the first place and when he left during S9 I was done, but I kept watching. RICK is TWD.
Shut up
Yeah I hate that Gimple teased they knew of each other and set up all those things but no pay off, it’s clear that the Commonwealth only needed one thing from the CRM gasoline.
Ginple stopped running the show after season 8 so he didn’t really get the chance to finish what he started. They definitely missed out though
Commonwealth uses biofuel
@@ethanknapp4371 How do you know? Did you see a biofuel plant somewhere because I didn’t?👀
@@brianachim2670 I watched through the whole series multiple times to pay attention to small details like this. The fuel canisters on vehicles are all labeled “bio”. Other hints would be that Daryl’s bike (which runs on biofuel) works on their fuel and also simply the fact that they always call it “fuel” rather than gas.
That being said, it’s possible they do still use some amount of gas or oil but that they use it for non-vehicle purposes like heating buildings. We just never definitively saw if this was the case I believe
@@ethanknapp4371 No we did not, because the show botched the Commonwealth and it’s lore.😒
It would have been very interesting of Commonwealth and CRM coming in contact. I still have a theory that Lance had contact with CRM considering they didn't go to the Commonwealth. 50,000 people could be a threat if given the right motivation but maybe Commonwealth wasn't a huge enough threat for the CRM to take action. I didn't even think about Destination B being a version of an A. I dont like how much is not explained but then it gives us chances to come up with theories until we get explanations. Considering CRM has dropoff points across the US, they definitely should know about Commonwealth but we'll have to wait and see. Correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure The Ones Who Live takes place before the Commonwealth arc because our main group would probably find out about CRM. And the fact they mentioned Omaha being destroyed fits the timeline of World Beyond too. But thanks again for your explanation on these two groups!
Gimple and Kang should get together and get this whole thing between the Commonwealth and CRM (CRP) straightened out. Both owe it to the huge fanbase of TWD.
Kang and AMC ruined TWD, would rather Kang stay far away

Thank you and hope you can find the well deserved recognition very soon! ❤
Thank you so much!
I'm honestly still refuse to believe the fact that this show now contains a season that has group of people dress like discount Storm Troopers.
You'd have to blame the comics
I’d make more sense if they were using Riot gear or any kind of real armor that WASNT WHITE.
@@tetraxis3011 I'm going to throw out a potential explanation-- against walkers they wouldn't need camoflage (not this kind anyway) so the white is to make them easy to spot at a distance, and white so it's easy to tell if they've been injured or in a battle. Maybe also propaganda in a way-- white so that they are more seen as a form of holy army against the undead instead of tyrannical oppressors
6:04 On around episode 11, when they visit the settlements alexandria, oceanside and hilltop, a side view of the armored convoy's truck is briefly shown. It has several gas tanks on it's side with the word bio on it, wich is hinting that they produce their own fuel.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the support!
just remember he doesnt like to be questioned
@@timgersh6787 ? What’s your question
I think the reason for the lack of CRM content in season 11 is one of three things: A: Scott Gimple's storytelling is mystery, and he tries to give out few clues, and this could have been a mistake in storytelling (or he simply didn't inform Angela Kang, we all know how much he keeps the CRM arc secret). B: Gimple didn't want to give out any important clues to simply get people excited for The Ones Who Live C: Maybe even the storytellers didn't have a clear vision of what the CRM actually is.
I also think the Warden from outpost 22 was connected to the CRM. He was probably the one who asigned people Designation 2 and had them sent to the CRM.
Anything in particular?
I just realized how much Commonwealth armor is bootleg storm troopers
Fits with Lance being a wannabe used car salesman version of Darth Vader

Great video man
what if on carols phone call with daryl she was talking about shady guys in helicopters coming back and talking to her
Great video! I've been going on and on about this in the comments sections since season 11. Everything you brought up is spot on and there's also the list Connie received of missing residents from the Commonwealth. Pamela also had a meeting with someone who had security wearing all black very similar to CRM. The one thing I'm 50/50 on is the warden from the Work Camp Negan and the Gang were at, he wore all black and said to Negan I thought you might be a leader? Total CRM vibes!! I'm still upset to this day they never clarified the connection
Loving your content man, I have an interesting theory about Kubleck. I think Rick and Kubleck might form an alliance against Beale, due to her forced exit by Jadis (Beale Loyalist). Enemy of my enemy is my friend?
Solid theory! I think its weird they haven’t touched on Kubleck in the ones who live, hopefully in the next couple episodes they re introduce her
They will have to tie it all together when the spin offs finish and they do a season 12 endgame scenario. Theres no way the commonwealth can be unknown to the military of Philly higher ups.
What ever you do please keep these videos coming they are more addictive then crack

I wonder if people treat helicopter sightings in the walking dead like UFO sightings, like imagine trying to explain to everyone in your group that you saw a helicopter and no one believed you
It sure as hell felt that way when they were first introduced lol
I don’t think Designation 2 = A because a bunch of Rick’s group were taken captive that would definitely be As.
I think Designation 2 is not labor but extreme capital punishment
Last few videos are banging bro 💯, can u make a video based solely on war between federal and the national guard, as I find that to be the most interested in the story ao far
Slight correction to the question of where the Commonwealth fuels its vehicles. In one episode of the main series, it is shown that the commonwealth uses some form of bio-fuel/bio diesel. I believe there was a tanker with its purpose painted on its side while our main characters run by.
Your a beast with these videos my guy
I would love to see a spinoff or mini series that takes place a few days before the zombie apocalypse starts where instead of following rick or daryl we follow two soldiers. That being a crm soldier and a commonwealth soldier so we see how they got to their home bases/groups it would cool to see the zombie apocalypse from their perspective.
This is how I would imagine it would begin for the crm soldier we see a man let's call him Tommy
Age 39
Gender male
Hair color black
Skin color white
Eye color dark blue
Job before us soldier
Tommy was one of the original us soldiers that was tasked with the evacuation of the city on the first day of the zombie outbreak.
Wait yall remember the last season the second hand to Pamela said something warning them about taking over and the deal ending and I believe the deal is they trade people to crm for protection from them
Don't forget train car A at Terminus
I've always had the theory Terminus was sending people to the early CRM
@@topsdaily_productionsA point for that theory is that Gareth also carved an A on Gabriel’s church when they were stalking them after terminus

I really been wanting to know more about a CRM & Commonwealth connection as well. But further note you look like as if you could’ve played Lance Hornsby’s son in TWD because you look a little bit like him.
Hahaha that’s a first!
I like how the CHIEF content officer gives the most vague word salad when asked if there is connection or anything between CW and CRM.
It's pretty obvious that the thought of that massive plot hole didn't even enter his head until after the Season was already filmed and now didn't have the budget for rewrites and reshoots, lol.
learning so much from your videos lmfao the last time i watched twd was when carl got uh..blind sided plus i never really paid THAT much attention to the story in the seasons i did watch
Ohio has 2 drop points in it. One in Caldwell, OH and the other in Defiance, OH. I am from Defiance. Nice for us to be put on a map for once lol. It’s a big enough city in the area besides Toledo we are the biggest. Just not sure why they didn’t pick Toledo instead. I also lived in Atlanta, GA during the filming of the first episode of TWD. I was able to look thru the barricades while they filmed and was even an extra as a zombie when he turned that corner with the horse. I was 15 back then. They gave us lunch for the day. It was nice to be apart of something that people will always be able to see.
Since The Ones Who Live is set slightly before the finale of TWD and Carol says something among the lines of "He came back" to Daryl could that mean that the Commonwealth and the CRM are in contact?
I live 5 minutes from Charleston WV and I know exactly where that rail yard is supposed to be, in the east end.
I would love to see commonwealth army fight with CRM
Wouldn’t be fair at all, CRM would destroy commonwealth
We know lots in questions, CRM is easy as an answer but it does not make sense because they turned on friends for a rounding error
Commowealth vs CRM is like HECU vs Black Ops
I never understood why CRM would eradicate the other cities even if they were a strain on resources. I mean, like Negan acknowledges, humans are the most valuable resource now. About the gasoline, to be fair, the entire show ignores gasoline. Just siphoning out of cars on the side of the road even 20 years later. Which, obviously, isn't a thing.
It's about control. People are a resource, yes, but also a threat. They will not always do what you want them to. Specially if they're all together in a big city. Small, spread out groups are easier to manage. And ultimately, they can always repopulate. The dead are not a threat anymore, now the fight is to shape the power dynamics of the future. They're playing the long game.
A lot of people seem to forget Jadis so very nearly traded Negan to the CRM. How interesting would that have been if both Rick and Negan were there.
the whole time ive watched walking dead it HAS definatly felt like there is another plot going on under the main show with the helicopters showing up randomly and stuff from fear, also at 5:03 i dont think thats as crazy as we think, i think he is talking about the opium farms and other farms like that
You forgot to mention that Daryl heard stories about people trading supplies on rooftops, and he wanted to investigate that.
when did that happen

oh nice, i forgot abou that@@artsymonkey
Yes, their was a connection of seemed but after Pamela and Lances death, we know nothing but it seems like mercer or some of their personal soldiers would know something. I think their is going to be a reveal that puts everyone outside the elite in this universe in danger, including the commonwealth

Last time I watched the Twd there was a snow storm in Alexandria

Thanks so much mate!
As of the moment, after the 1x6 series finale of TWD: The Ones Who Live, it was stated on their fandom Wikipedia that the CRM already started an alliance with the Commonwealth, replacing Omaha in the Alliance of the Three and CRC together with its reformed CRM was able to make peace with Portland.
This was unconfirmed but the Commonwealth may have secretly been allied with the Civic Republic Military and trading people with them, although only a few people appeared to be aware of this.
1. In "The Last Time" of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, Major General Beale tells Rick Grimes that the CRM has spies in several communities to keep an eye on them and guide their politics. In addition, the Commonwealth train briefly appears in a flashback during the conversation between Beale and Rick.
2. In "A New Deal", Lance Hornsby mentions "certain alliances" that he and Pamela Milton wouldn't want to be exposed to.
3. In "Outpost 22", the Commonwealth is revealed to be taking Designation 2's far away and they are never seen again afterward. This may have been a reference to an alliance with the CRM and the Commonwealth secretly trading people as the Scavengers did.
4. TWD The Ones Who Live 1x6: This episode hints that the Civic Republic Military may have been aware of Tank Town and/or The Pioneers. Althea suspected a connection between the 2 groups in "Today and Tomorrow", but Virginia denied any knowledge and appeared to be genuinely confused.
I'm surprised your bullet #1 wasn't mentioned in the video.
@@renecarteir8092 This video was posted March 14, 2024, the TWD The Ones Who Live 1x6 "The Last Time" was aired March 31, 2024, so I'm not surprised that bullet number 1 wasn't mentioned because the video was too early, and no revelation from Beale yet at that time regarding CRM has spies in several communities though it was confirmed on their Wikipedia that the Commonwealth is allied now with the Civic Republic of Philadelphia and Portland, replacing Omaha.
None of the hints were about crm. I thought the same initially. If you re watch the last season, Hornsby refers to “alliances” he was talking about groups like the drug manufacturers. They didn’t want the citizens to know about those deals. There was no Connection the crm.
After watching the final episode of TWD: The Ones Who Live, I saw that the couple had already been reunited with their children. The timetable is a bit chaotic. In the main TWD series finale, in season 11, over a year had passed after Pamela Milton was ousted as the Governor of Commonwealth and Daryl traveled to find Rick and Michonne. It was set in 2023. TWD The Ones Who Live was set in 2022 which means that after the couple eradicated the 2,500 higher-ups or a.k.a Frontliners of the CRM, it took over a year for them to reunite with their children. Rick was the person Carol mentioned who came back, which is what it means. We now have a clear understanding of who that person is. Hope for Morgan and the others to show up since Scott Gimple and Robert Kirkman mentioned that characters from different spin-off shows will crossover in one series. I am looking forward to it happening.
Where do find all these maps? The nuke zones? CRM locations? Etc.
Most of them come from either world beyond, or the ones who live intro
Also the Commonwealth used corn fuel as shown during the scene of them blowing up pamelas house
Loved your video! I subscribed. I hope you don't mind me saying this, you are a beautiful looking man
Is it just me that wants to see CRM and commonwealth go to war to save Rick and michonne
I think that'll happen no matter what; and I wouldn't be surprised if the leader of The Nomads would wanna take the fight to the CRM if Michonne told her that the CRM were responsible for the deaths of her sister and brother in law
I personally dont think either Alexandria or the Commonwealth will appear. This is because Ricks sacrifice was around 3-3.5 years into the apocalypse. Then the 6 year time jump occurs, then 5 months between season 9 and 10. Meaning Michonne left to find Rick around 6.5 years after he went missing. This means TOWL takes place around 9.5-10 years into the virus. With season 11 of TWD being about 12.5-13 years in. This means there would need to be a time jump. Also Dead City is around 1-2 years after the season 11 final, and there was no mention of Rick or Michonne.
I think the writers now are doing damage control, trying to tie up loose ends of plot holes left in the main show and they're trying to connect everything the best they can even if it doesn't make sense, time wise. I always wondered why time was never a factor and they never gave us a coherent year of when all important plot points were taking place which makes me believe 1) the writers just don't care because it's all about the money or 2) they wrote themselves into a corner in which they think the fans will ignore and focus on future spin-offs that tell a bunch of unrelated stories...which I personally think it's the latter because it does feel that way.
Something big is happening…
Also, in the previous comment i forgot to say that in towl and twdwb some "international relationships" actually exist, si its possible that the crm is contact with the french from daryl dixon (given that the french even sent an expedition in america, Its not hard to imagine the possible connections) and maybe even with "the alien" the comic about rick grimes's brother!
the next official TWD show should have the first 2 seasons of The Commonwealth taking down the Omaha CRM base, also including the ruins of Chicago, Indianapolis, and Kansas City. Rick’s group takes down the CRM in Omaha and move towards Portland since Rick knows where all the bases are. They take down Portland and head toward Philadelphia ( If TOWL ends with Rick and Michonne heading back, they’ll find out the Commonwealth is their new home. So The CRM can’t find Rick because Alexandria is technically not used as much ) In the NEXT TWD SHOW, Season 3-5 would focus on taking down the Philadelphia base ( TOWL hasn’t ended so idk if in the end they bomb or destroy the philadelphia base ) It’s impossible to sneak in, so the group goes back to The Commonwealth. This is where we see the deaths of Magna’s group since CRM soldier’s are invading the Commonwealth. Rick and the whole group are forced onto their knees as Major General Beale or an Unknown CRM Leader arrives and we slowly see flashbacks from when Negan forced Rick and the group to their knees. We see the CRM Leaders say their speeches about how they are all Consignes and will have no chance to be granted Citizenship onto Philadelphia. The Major would put a magazine onto his pistol and fire at someone. Season 3 would begin with The Major shooting Father Gabriel in the head. The Major would state that The Commonwealth would make a great Portland replacement. He would shoot Micheal Mercer in the head, traumatizing his sister. Then repeating the same line Negan said in The Season 7 premiere “You can breathe. you can blink. you can cry. aw hell, you’re all going to be doing that.” he would shoot Aaron in the stomach, push him over, and his last word would be “RICK R-“ as he’s shot in the head.
Oh my Goodness. I am not sure how I didn’t see this. DUH!
I bet the CRM was one of the biggest purchases of his drug crops.
That’s a great theory
great vids! my comments is kind of broad and against the entire issue of the writers, etc and the issue they have NEVER had with allowing the facts of US geography get in the way of their stories.
Great stories too. Its just that many times, whether its going back through some of the early seasons of TWD, or FTWD, or these new shows, again, all great shows.. there is always an issue with the "where" of places and things.
three examples
in FEAR, we see that the last season is either on or near the Gulf coast of presumably Texas or Louisiana. But then in the episode 'King County' we see that Morgan has gone all the way back to Georgia, on foot (?), that is quite a distance. And, it could have been allowed that he maybe took a horse or a car and travelled out of script time, we just didn't see that vehicle, but no, in comes riding Dwight and his wife on horseback! Like they just made a quick trip across town.
And when they talk to Finch, they tell him to get on a boat to the coast "now" and "we will see you at dawn", implying they will make it on horseback from King County Georgia, near Atlanta all the way to the Gulf Coast of LA or Texas in a few hours on horseback!
number two
in Daryl Dixon, we see he has gone to Maine. Kind of difficult to get from either Alexandria or The Commonwealth in Ohio to Main WITHOUT going through CRM territory, especially if he was coming from Alexandria, which is nearly already on Philly's doorstep. Not impossible of course
side note on CRM being based in Philly and being formed from the 28th division, PA Nat Guard, something I am sure the writers do not know, it is actually GREAT IRL match. The PA Guard operates the largest helo flight training operations west of the Mississippi for all All Army Reserve Forces at Ft Indiantown Gap, PA, near Lebanon PA. not far from Harrisburg.
so the CRM would naturally have had a lot of HELO's to puck from, the PA Guard's own and all the other Helo's kept at FIG from other units. There Is also a Naval Reserve airfield near Philly where a Army reserve avn unit keeps its Chinook helo's we see the CRM using. Explains why the CRM gain keep these helos flying with spare parts
Third point
DEAD CITY , by this point in time the CRM has either fallen or for some reason it just does not look to its east to New Jersey. Why? Well New Babylon and The Bricks can not be in Virginia. Why? We see the Marshals of New Babylon and Maggie looking out from what seems to be, New Babylon territory across the Hudson to NYC. And Maggie makes a pretty quick trip from the opening scene on the river to the bar/motel where Negan is.
So , it is either in New Jersey, north Jersey, and CRM is not paying attn to North Jersey, or, Maggie and the Marshalls are travelling, off camera, from Virginia to NYC (through all those congested interstates?) through CRM territory, the main roads from Virginia to NYC go right through or next to Philly, and CRM is letting them pass? Or, by the time of DEAD CITY, CRM has fallen.
OR, the writers just want us to ignore US geography. That is the most likely answer.
thanks for your great videos, love the shows, just got to have some details addressed is all
SPOILER ALERT FROM THE ONES WHO LIVE:
The crm got reformed and now they dont destroy communities and now they are the good guys basically
@@hybridhealthofficial still does not answer the problems with geography the writers have. and don't you think that the Govt of New Babylon would mention something about the Civil Republic? Especially since they just have the Delaware River between them
I wonder if CRM is aware that common wealth exist
You can make fuel from corn and biomass. It's actually really easy. A lot of the gasoline you use right now is actually been cut with ethanol.
Drop the recipe
@@tetraxis3011 lmao dude I said it was easy as in, it's pretty much the same process as making alcohol. It's not like I know exactly how to do it. Go ask a moonshine maker lol
Here is an idea, Omaha and campus colony entered into negotiations with Commonwealth and was a threat to the CRM.
What if we don't see the CRM in the Commonwealth arc, because they are destroyed? I think the story takes place after "The ones who live" so if Rick/Michonne bring down the CRM, that would explain why they're not around. Another thing that would mean, is Rick/Michonne never come back after "The ones who live" so it's possible they die bringing down the CRM
Yeah that’s definitely a valid theory. Personally I don’t see a scenario where Rick and Michonne single handedly take down the CRM, but you never know
Well now we have our answer.
*spoilers*
Rick and Michonne took down Beale's rogue forces in one fell swoop using their own chlorine gas and the truth is exposed to the Commonwealth citizens, who then establish civilian authority and reverse the policy of isolationism, instead becoming a beacon of hope on the continent by helping any community or individuals that ask for assistance. Rick and Michonne made it home by Chinook and all is well.
Amazing job Ty Swell my uncle loves the waking dead and I’m interested in the lore of this universe and if I may can I ask you something about your channel
Thank you so much! And absolutely
@@Swell-Films 1 withs your favourite Waker and less favourite 2 if you were in the TWD universe how long do you think you survive? 3 can I do r e a c t (sorry for writing it like this TH-cams being TH-cam and being buggy lol) and 4 if you could choose a settlement to live in which would you choose?
@@Swell-Films also I’ll link your channel and all that don’t worry if I can do r e a c t and why I’m asking is some people don’t with people to
@@jordanmagpiebullet7978 yeah I don’t mind!
@@Swell-Films thanks and your answer for the other three questions and for number 4 Alexandria for me
The CRM would have to know about Commonwealth activity they have spread out taking over smaller settlements. No way CRM wouldn't have noticed
Carol takes Lance's job, but why does taking his position automatically mean she would find out about the connection? He was the only one who knew and could've easily kept that knowledge under wraps without writing it down or anything.
I assume Lance was the only one who actually spoke to the CRM and the alliance was brokered through him not through the Commonwealth
The CRM probably know how volatile the commonwealths population is and probably take detours south then go west
I'm pasting this from another comment section BC I hope you see this. I'd love to see you make a video about the rest of the world mainly France, Russia, China (China is mentioned in the webisode Cold Storage and in the comic universe theres a book about China), Spain (also mentioned in the comics), South Africa and the UK. and you could also theorise on which countries would have likely survived such as Switzerland, Ireland etc countries which would be easy to defend. Its a question i get asked often in walking dead related content so it would probably do quite well
I will absolutely be covering the status of other country’s in the future! It’s a really interesting topic, and with the daryl show out I feel there is enough to cover in a video!
@@Swell-Films looking forward to it!
Yeah destination 2 really pissed me off. Didn't make sense. They should've taken Connie there wouldve been great to see her in the ones who live.
TWD S11 E20 - Delegation in Pamela Milton's office mentioned making contributions to the CW, then Yumiko busts into her office and punches out their Security Detail, who appears to be dressed in a uniform similar to the one Jadis wears (all black, silver braid draped over the left shoulder), the only detail missing is the 3 rings, but I don't think they wanted to make it blaringly obvious. I honestly believe that delegation was from the CR.
Ohio's two biggest industries are industrial manufacturing and financial services, btw. Ohio has a sizable ag sector, but nothing too special or over reliant on ag. Not sure where you got "agriculture is the number one industry in the state."
I like your vids. You missed the clue to the CRM in the raid scene with Rosita. They find the hidden room of the guy that disrupted the Gala. He had the screen printing stuff and there was a CRM and Commonweatlh solider mask. The CRM mask was labeled Deuce. And the other CRM screen says Transit or Transfer, hard to tell.
Woah that is crazy! I haven't heard anyone talk about this! What episode is it??
Can you let me know what episode this is and if you can link me the scene on TH-cam
@@rexadex7269 I found it Season 11x10 final scene of the episode

A little disappointed nothing came of this in the end. Would have been nice to see some connection between the two. Or the soldiers battling eachother. That would have been cool.
People asking why omaha was destroyed was purely political. Around this time it was due for the military to hand off power to the civilian government. Killing omaha purely lets them stay in power longer
Let’s just say the commonwealth wishes they could be the CRM
Notice how their is no crm jump points in the commonwealth area.
Correct me if I'm wrong
