I love that Sigma has their videos of their manufacturing of cameras and lenses. They definitely gained a lot of my respect for the company since they started releasing the videos.
I didn't know that Sigma made camera bodies, but now that I do, I want one. The fact they they are made with so many human hands is extremely impressive. I figured cameras were all made with machines. Great video!
@phillipbanes5484 It's true. I just bought a Sony ZV-E10 and have been watching videos on it. Lots of people talk about the Sigma 16mm lens, but no one ever mentioned their camera bodies.
Many thanks to Kazuto Yamaki for keeping Sigma corporation as a family business. Brilliant company and brilliant lenses (and the cameras are coming along nicely too). If every company were kept family operated the world would be a much better place.
just beautifull to see japanse craftmanship. there is japan and the rest of the world, anything they do is next level. they only work to make perfection.

That is a very complicated assembly job and that woman should be payed a LOT of money in salary for working so fast and accurately. The Japanese are wizards at quality control. Bravo!

It is such a WONDERFUL CAMERA - not just the build, the beauty of it - but the image itself which is as cinematic as the best of them - I'm including the big cinema cameras (Arris, Reds, etc). I've taken this onto many professional film/TV shoots through work and shown it to DOPS who have been blown away by this. Love it! and love the support that Sigma has continued to give this. It's legend will continue to grow.
The most interesting ones are their Foveon sensors. But... it's a sinking ship, I don't think they have enough funds for the R&D to succeed. If it does it will be quite a breakthrough in photography.
@@professionalpotato4764 yea i've been waiting for their foveon full frame for years now, originally planned to be released in 2020 but it's still getting delayed.. i still own their sd quattro and it still outputs of the best photos when the conditions are right

Whoa! Hello to Sigma. My first real job was portable electronics and camera seller back in 2005. I remember Sigma was very active promoting their lenses for SLR, and of course, trading company I worked for had these lenses in shops. I respect companies that keep their business and technology UP during times. I worked many years in different business, stainless metallurgy and precision alloys, and keep an eye on what is going on with Pentax only, as fan of Pentax. And this is frustrating. So your camera is a surprise for me. Looks very professional. I try to film and make pictures a lot using my old Nikon compact CMOS ultrazoom, Pentax K50 and smartphone. Not a high quality as you can see. But your camera looks very PRO. Will be interesting to know specs.
Mesmerizing! Also, I had no idea the amount of manual labor that went into making these! I truly had no idea that many people touch a camera before it lands in the final users hands.
Super interesting. I was surprised by the writings on the camera done with a sponge. I didn't know how it was made and thought it was more a metallic press not a simple sponge.
наконец т показали того японца инженера за которым я постоянно доделываю его косяки 😁 ремонтирую камеры и объективы, в сигме постоянно проблемы с шестернями шлейфами и програмным обеспечением.
