My issue is mainly narrow introitus I do need to see a PT to make sure I'm breathing correctly and using dialators correctly. Thank you for sharing you're a god send for us ladies 💕
Pelvic floor dysfunction is such a stress inducing condition, but there is definitely hope. I am here if you have questions as you undertake the journey to relax your pelvic floor 🌸😊
A suggestion: I think it would be better to have your voices in the video telling us how to relax and how to breathe. This way we wouldn't have to look at the screen all the time. The beep sounds are a bit stressing for me too and maybe to other people as well. Keep up with the good work!
Thanks for the great feedback! I actually made this style of video in response to feedback from another subscriber who wanted me not to talk in the video and to have the beeps to let them know when to come out of the poses! It’s actually a lot more work to create this style of video versus my usual style where I talk so I am glad to hear you like the other style. Most of the videos in the pelvic floor relaxation playlist have me talking with soft music and no beeps. If you haven’t already, try one of those and tell me if it works better for you 😊🌸
You are amazing! Thank you so much for all of your videos on vaginismus and the pelvic floor, they helped me so much overcoming and living with vaginismus ❤️
I have watched this video at the start of my history with vaginismus..I lacked consistency but doing this for a few weeks stretched out a lot of tight muscles.at the beginning it felt like a herculean task..now I have started a programme and I realised when they started the yoga classes that all these were the exercises mentioned in the programme..It felt easier now...combine this with belly breathing and it helps in pelvic floor relaxation more..and we learn to use belly breathing during intercourse after practice...
I’m gonna try documenting how this goes for me and my Vaginismus, so I can face my fear of getting a pap: Day one: Definitely felt a breeze down there doing these!
Starting today! I don't know what I have! I've been to the gynecologist many times and I'm always treated like shit "oh the pain is normal" "you're just scared" and the last consultation "you have vaginimism" but they didn't recommend anything, it's very sad because here in Portugal it's expensive to go to the gynecologist and I never found one who cared about me. I have pain during intercourse, pain during my cycle, low libido, I can´t empty my bladder, every time I have an exam at the gynecologist I suffer a lot of pain :C Did this exercise today for the first time, I feel so relax and it's very easy to do on my daily routine! Going to do everyday for one month and I will tell you feedback! Thanks for the good work and helping many people! I suspect I have a hipertonic pelvic floor

Glad you found it helpful! As your pregnancy progresses, your body will produce more relaxin hormone which allows connective tissues and expand. You should use supports and don’t go to end range in your joints in those later stages so as not to overstretch 🩷

It has been a week or two doing a bunch of your exercise videos. I hope to progress faster. Reading all these comments really helps and I'm glad that I'm not alone here. I'd love to have more tips with how I can progress further.
Generally these types of exercises are a tool in your toolkit when working to overcome vaginismus, but other treatments can help to speed the process. I’ve written a short article about it here: theflowerempowered.com/2020/12/17/5-steps-to-overcome-vaginismus/
Many thanks for this program. I started the exercises and they really helped a lot. Doing the exercises just before being intimate help a great deal with dilation.
I've just recently started having sex and it's pretty much unbearable. I have a problem with clenging my muscles all the time. For now, I haven't gone to doctors yet. But even after just one of these exercises, I already feel more relaxed. I'll try my best to maintain a routine and will see how things go. Thank you so much❤
Sorry to hear you have been having these problems. Learning to relax your pelvic floor should help, and it might also be helpful to see a pelvic floor physiotherapist if the issue continues. Good luck!
So, I started this today. I also have serious pain while any insertion, specially menstrual cup. I researched about this and then I realised even inserting a finger is painful for me. I am sexually inactive so I never realised this but I am working on it because I really want to use menstrual cup. Will update when I see results. Love the video though.

There are lots of comments on the video from people who have vaginismus. You can take a read through them and also jump over to community.theflowerempowered.com if you would like to speak with others who are doing exercises like these for vaginismus. Good luck 🌸😊
i just started today, its so hard for me to stretch hope it gets better overtime! hoping to improve intimacy with my partner (still a V who has not tried PIV yet)
Generally in Yoga, we inhale up and exhale down. It's a little less relevant in this style of gentle yoga. You should move gently, listening to your body and breathing calmly in a way that feels good for you. Hope that helps!
I hear you!! We have become so accustomed to sitting in chairs that most of us lose the range of motion to do a full squat. Thankfully, the body adapts based on what we ask it to do, so if you work on some gentler versions of squat (such as wall squats), that can help a lot with restoring range of motion around ankles, knees and hips to allow a comfortable squat 😊🌸
I just got diagnosed with vaginismus yesterday and its so degradding because mine messes with my bladder so much to the point i dont get ques that i need to use the washroom and i almost wet myself or i cant fully relieve myself. Its verh degrading so im going to start doing these exercises today and hopefully itll help as i csnt afford pelvic physotherapy.

Yes! It’s a gentle practice and I created it with vaginismus and pelvic floor hypertonicity in mind, so it should be helpful to practice before dilation 😊🌸
I wax diagnose wit adhesions & tight pelvic floor after a hysterectomy and previous gynecological procedures.. I had therapy last yr but now that o found a parter having issues trying to explore intimacy as I do have pain
The exercises should help and I am here if you have questions 😊 you can also read some more suggestions on the website: theflowerempowered.com/2020/12/17/5-steps-to-overcome-vaginismus/
I just found this and really like the layout! So easy to follow thank you! I am not so flexible and some of these I feel pain( I feel very much the tension and resistance)..how much do I need to push it, and over time with the excerises will this ease? Thank you!!
It’s best not to push it and don’t move to a position where you feel pain. You should use support of blankets, pillows etc to allow you to relax without pain. There are also alternatives to positions if you lack flexibility. For example this one for pigeon pose: th-cam.com/video/EQ49CdR9-mo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mvTokD0rTlnE5oG- and this one for child’s pose: th-cam.com/video/Po6yoFfyDy0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9MKRmx1Svvu86PgN The key thing is not to push or pull into positions, but rather to consistently practice every day, allowing your body to slowly adapt over time. Eventually your body will allow you to find confort in the positions 👍🏻

I've just discovered your video. I've been reading all these comments on how they have improved their vaginal health. It actually made me cry that there is hope. I'm uk I've been going around in circles with nhs. I'm still waiting to see if I can see a PFPT. I will be keeping up with these exercises.
This type of videos are amazing! Please make more of exercises with these timings again. It’s easy and I’m happy to be able to do them! ❤
Will do!
Thank you so much! Looking forward to it 🎉
A suggestion: I think it would be better to have your voices in the video telling us how to relax and how to breathe.

Pregnant and struggling with tight pelvic floor and SPD pelvic dysfunction. Have dealt with vaginismus off and on. This felt great, thanks!
Glad you found it helpful! As your pregnancy progresses, your body will produce more relaxin hormone which allows connective tissues and expand. You should use supports and don’t go to end range in your joints in those later stages so as not to overstretch 🩷
First time doing, I don’t know if it will help but I love the video format, simple, relaxing, it felt just right.
Awesome! Thank you! Let me know how it goes for you 👍🏻

mam please tell when to inhale and exhale while doing this exercise. this will help us to do exercises correctly. and thank you for ur effort mam
Generally in Yoga, we inhale up and exhale down. It's a little less relevant in this style of gentle yoga. You should move gently, listening to your body and breathing calmly in a way that feels good for you. Hope that helps!
Hehe the relaxed squat is not so relaxed. Love this stretching routine :)

Is it helpful with vulvodynia
It depends on what is triggering the vulvodynia. If pelvic floor tension is contributing then it should help a lot 😊🌸
🥰 enjoyed this quick PF release session. Love to see one incorporating myofascial massage with ball after stretching and a poas stretch/hip flexor
Great suggestions, thanks! I'll create a video demonstrating some desensitisation with a ball 😊🌸
I love this video! Is this good to do right before dilating?
Yes! It’s a gentle practice and I created it with vaginismus and pelvic floor hypertonicity in mind, so it should be helpful to practice before dilation 😊🌸

I agree! 😁
I love the new setup and the style of video but I miss your encouraging voice!
Aw, thanks for the kind words!! For the next relaxation video, I will try to add voice too 😊🌸
I just found this and really like the layout!
For example this one for pigeon pose: th-cam.com/video/EQ49CdR9-mo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mvTokD0rTlnE5oG- and this one for child’s pose: th-cam.com/video/Po6yoFfyDy0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9MKRmx1Svvu86PgN
The key thing is not to push or pull into positions, but rather to consistently practice every day, allowing your body to slowly adapt over time. Eventually your body will allow you to find confort in the positions 👍🏻
