The reason there are a lot of Alabama clips where they are getting beat is that Alabama usually has such a strong team that it takes spectacular plays in order to beat them. This in turn means a lot of those plays make the highlight reels.
If a Michigan player puts just one hand on him that hit doesn't happen, but it also doesn't happen if the ref wasn't a complete idiot. I became a Spurrier fan that day lol 🤫😂
2:46 the ball was short of the end of the chain by an obvious inch. The referee still called first down for Michigan despite it being clearly short. Next play the Gamecocks where rightly upset and just took the ball, funny enough 3 yards closer then where they would have been.
Alabama wasn't always getting beaten. Alabama has had the most dominant run in college football history under Nick Saban so its a big deal when they get beaten. Their coach who just retired won 6 national championships in 15 years with Alabama and had a streak where Alabama made the championship game 6 out of 7 years. At Alabama they won 10 or more games for 16 straight years which is the longest streak since 1936. Alabama had more players drafted in the first round of the NFL draft (44 players) than losses (29). His record against teams ranked in the top-10 of college football was a ridiculous 37-13. If you include his time at LSU he has won the most national championships of any coach in history, has the most wins against top-25 opponents in history, and has beaten the number 1 ranked team nine times in his career which is the most of any coach. It is an accomplishment to beat Nick Saban in and of itself and most of the teams to beat Alabama (especially after his first season) had to do so in fairly remarkable ways.
In fact Alabama is not always getting beat. They rarely lost under Nick saban (old head coach and the best of all time) so that’s why some of the best moments are there rare defeats.
Every week, they rank the top 25 teams in the nation. If you see a number next to their name, thats their national ranking. If a non ranked team beats a ranked team, the fans get crazy af.

@@bob_._. Saban didn't get there till 2007 season. Lost six games his first year and never lost more than 3 after that. More times than not only two losses a year and a lot of those years they were undefeated during the regular season and ended up losing in a bowl game or championship game.

That game in 2020 and 2021 was almost equally great as the 2023 match-up.
@@AlexanderWinterborn-r6p Rivalries are not based on a fan base, that is one small factor. Not like a Penn State fan would understand about rivalries. But you should know what USC fans are like after those Rose Bowls huh? I guess those still hurt. When was the last time the President of the United States attended a Texas OU game? Unfortunately, alot of these plays have a story behind them based on numerous factors that made the plays go viral, not just the play themselves. Sometimes it would be events that happened earlier in the season or game itself or what was on the line at the time. And without the context, it becomes "Ok, that's cool" and not "OH MY GOD".
Alabama wasn't always getting beat lol. Under Saban, the head coach in all the clips used here, Alabama won 6 championships and rarely lost more than one game a season. All these are clips from those rare losses, and a couple were from National Championship games they lost, meaning they lost in the final. I'm not an Alabama fan, but these plays and the amount of times they were featured here is because it's like beating the All Blacks at the hight of their power, or Manchester City i guess. It didn't happen often, and it usually took a crazy play to do it, so they get replayed a lot.
7:33 that was the kick 6. I couldn't explain how big that was, That kept Alabama from winning third straight National Championship. or thier 15th or something overall. basically they are the best team and that year they were really good too. Auburn had just come off back to back losing seasons after winning the championship in 10. We were about to be irrelevant (like we are now). That win put Auburn in the SEC championship and later the National championship where unfortunately they lost to Florida State and old crablegs in a stunning collapse with 13 seconds left.
The first 2 plays won national championships for Texas and Alabama. The 3rd was a collosal upset. This video is mainly championship winning plays or huge upsets.
Ohio State is usually a top contender in the Big 10 conference. However, it's always a good day when we are able to defeat an SEC team(Alabama/Clemson/Georgia), because as a Buckeye myself l I'll admit that conference is ALWAYS in a league of their own as far as talent goes lol. The "Off to the races" Ezekiel Elliott clip was the year Ohio State won the Championship, and even though it was an Ohio State vs. Oregon final round, our toughest opponent was Alabama in the finals. I tell ya, I may talk trash on SEC teams, but MAN am I always shaking in my boots whenever Ohio State faces one 🤣. I prefer good games, and our own conference(aside from that damn maze & blue team up north) rarely puts up a challenge 😅
@ 2:54 ~ The official rule is that the ball has to make it to the Last Link of the chain. In this case, the very tip of the ball did, but from the camera shot the ball looks short. 2:46 - the referee signaled for a first down despite the ball being short of the line to gain. That should have given the ball to South Carolina. So on the very next play, Clowney took matters into his own hands. 6:11 - actually, at the time Michigan State was on a very good run of success against Michigan. All-time, Michigan has a pretty big lead in the series, but that was part of a run of 7 MSU wins in 8 years. 2:37 - Did that reff ever get fired. That's enraging to watch. But justice was had in the next play.. If I was Clowney, I would've immediately turned around to that reff who was behind him, and while holding the ball up, I'd flip the bird in that his face. I wouldn't care about the repercussions, and I would be unapologetic afterwards.
If your team beat BAMA it was the most wonderful magical win that had happened to them in a while most of the time. For us, it was Saturday. ROLL TIDE ROLL

That Clowney hit was a nothing. He lost the whole game long. His start line for the game was weak. The whole game he manages 3 tackles, 2 for losses, including this. No sacks. You may not know that Clowney developed a reputation for loafing, quitting, and generally showing low effort. He even skipped major chunks of his college games at South Carolina because he didn't want to risk injury The guy had been the same in the pros, an overrated, low motor, bust. App state is like a minor league team at the time. back then 1AA teams would play the big schools for big money. Usually they beat up on them. Michigan is college football royalty.
Just to let you know you don’t need to say longhorns. Here’s the name guide for all the Texas teams. Much love and I love the videos!
Texas/UT = Texas longhorns/Uni. of Texas.
(Also don’t get confused, Vols/UT = Tennessee Vols/Uni. Of Tenn)
A&M or Aggies = Texas A&M
Tech = Texas Tech
U.T.S.A = UT San Antonio
U-Tep = UT El Paso
SMU = Southern Methodist Uni.
TCU = Texas Christian Uni.
UNT = Uni. of North Texas
Then all the clear ones are
Texas State
Sam Houston
Houston
I believe that’s all of them. Sorry if I’m forgetting a few. Texas has a lot of big universities.
You should do a reaction to the Clemson vs Alabama national championship game for the 2016 season. It’s a classic and a night I will never forget as a Tiger fan!
2015 game is better....
You should do a post on Texas vs USC in 2005-2006. This was the greatest college football game of my generation. Do some research.
I was trapped in that toilet of a stadium after the kick 6. It was awful
Bama always getting beaten is a laugh. Hopefully that doesn’t turn out to be true lol Roll Tide!
If your team beat BAMA it was the most wonderful magical win that had happened to them in a while most of the time.
For us, it was Saturday.
ROLL TIDE ROLL
6:34 YEEES!!!! ive been trying to tell my fellow Americans this forever. Learn how to play Rugby and your laterals will look alot better
Do one of the hardest hits in football
I feel like without knowing the context some of these are just good plays instead of amazing, many were bowl/championship games
Lawnmower racing when?
Will you be able to watch any of the college football season this year? You got two weeks until you can experience the real deal instead of replays. The first big game this year will be in two weeks between Georgia Tech and Florida State. They’re playing in Ireland.
OUCH is the main word here, lol
When are you going review the LSU 2019-2029 season? Joe Burrow/Burreaux won the national championship and Heisman Trophy!!!!
What happened the other 9 years?
GOD BLESS
Just pretend you didn't see that first Florida State one happen. That's what we try to do. LoL
I wanted an FSU vs. OSU championship game SO BAD, and I'm a Buckeye. I know that was just super bad luck, because I bet FSU would have given us a lot more trouble than the damn Ducks lol
Lot of these highlights are situational. Close score, not much time left.
Do yourself a favor and go watch any 2019 LSU highlight, a good one is LSU Bama or LSU v Oklahoma
Check his videos, he's done one of those at least
That Clowney hit was a nothing.
He lost the whole game long.
His start line for the game was weak.
The whole game he manages 3 tackles, 2 for losses, including this.
No sacks.
You may not know that Clowney developed a reputation for loafing, quitting, and generally showing low effort.
He even skipped major chunks of his college games at South Carolina because he didn't want to risk injury
The guy had been the same in the pros, an overrated, low motor, bust.
He loafed the whole game, spikes his effort for 3-4 plays, then people worship his one] play that was not consequential to the game.
when bama looses it is an upset
the team that ended last season outside the top 10?
@@OhioOwns bama finished #5...
More Nascar???
App= Appalachian State
Would love to talk football with you sometime! Let me know what your email please!
