    This is the size fixed blades I really enjoy. So glad you did this one Dave. I've had my eye in the Fenrir and the Bastinelli more than once. Great video!

    Really nice mid sized tactical fixed knives👍I own the Fox Ryu and the Rike F1, both are great knives. There are many many more knives in this category and I have three suggestions/recommendations: SOG Pillar, Microtech Borka SBK, and Benchmade Adamas 375-1 (low profile steel only or with a grip wrap or handle scales e.g. from tpgrips).

    Those are really nice blades! Great review. I EDC a Winkler Crusher Belt knife with rubber handles or a TOOR and Scallywag Tactical collaboration called the MUTINY that is about it. Perfect size for all of my knife tasks. Have a great day

    These definitely look like they're all made well. There's so many options when it comes to EDC and Tactical. Lately I've been carrying my Cold Steel Kobun, I also carry a XL CS Voyager. It's all preference.

    My beef with most of the knives in this category is that the skullcrusher pommels make it really hard or painful to wrap your thumb around it or brace it against your palm for a strong thrust

    • @OGBladeReviews
      @OGBladeReviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes I agree but that should only apply to half of the blades shown here. Any rounded or semi-rounded pommel should do for the purpose you mention, and I've used them that way....

    Thanks for sharing. A collection of several interesting blades with that Sci-Fi Futuristic Dystopian F1 being a real stand out and sound like an outstanding blade. Good mix of more budget friendly, Maxwell and the Artisan offering (which I had forgotten all about) and Higher end stuff. Now please go review some pedestrian, boring, uninspiring, uninteresting disposable box cutters so my bank account can recover! Wait, I wonder how many of those I can get and what use I can put them to? 🤔Thanks again it always interesting inspiring and entertaining!

      It's a design by Ken Vehikite of Black Roc Knives, so he may best answer that question. I'd say it's for a lanyard, and maybe even a thicker leather one, but who knows? Personally it doesn't bother me and I do like the angled pommel which can be used for close-in contact

    Awesome knives man!
    I would like to express MO on ..the “skull crushers”, the part of the full tang that pertudes from the handle- I hate them, lol! It tends to poke the body when you are concealing them. And to be honest- I don’t plan on cracking heads with the end of my blade, or smashing coconuts 😂. And if I did, G-10 would do the job. What are your thoughts?

    • @OGBladeReviews

    I'm sorry but they don't look very practical for Bushcraft I think Cold steel makes a better Bushcraft bit more sturdy and not that is expensive cuz they are not that fancy. Anyway those are my thoughts

      The video title has nothing to do with Bushcraft. It clearly says EDC/Tactical.
