    I very recently made a few knife purchases based solely on your video overviews:
    Microtech Socom mini Warcom
    Fox Knives Ryu
    Microtech SBD Borka signature series (also the stone wash/g-10 version, just ordered that one before I commented here).
    I might have to take a break from your channel for a while, lol.

      Curious to know how much you got the sbk for? They used to run $270 I’m seeing them listed for $470!?

      I had to delete my reply, I misread & thought you were asking about the SBD.
      THE SBK I got from a local store for about $325. Only gripe is that the sheath comes in a left hand carry.

      @MrNiceKnife the stonewashed and apocalyptic sbks are 320ish. The signature series black w/carbon fiber is 470. I just got the black standard blade one and my friend got the stonewash full serrate. I also got the black warhound full serrate, and the black sbd half standard and half serrate. Flawless knives. I cant put them down.

    I'm definitely a fan of Microtech fixed blades. I have a SBK and a Tac-P, which is technically a fixed blade 😁. I love them! 👍

    Good looking nice. I’m looking around for a good place to purchase. Where can I pick this one up at which website did you recommend blade HQ has it but it’s ready, but not the plain version

    A lil late to the party, lol🤪
    Nice review!!
    The Socom Alpha Mini is an excellent knife, as it is one of my three EDC self-defense knives, along with a Proto Northman that Bill Rapier(AMTAC) designed and ended up bringing to market, which is also a superb no-bullsh!t pocket fixed blade along with a modded CRKT S.P.E.W(Wharncliffe)
    I would say that with the reverse tip cut, that this blade is a reverse tanto.
    A wharncliffe has zero belly and is razor straight from grip to tip, and all things being equal(whenTF is that ever the case😂), is probably the best design for stabbing as far as layin and keepin blade metal on meat.
    Anyhoo, great down to earth review!!
    Stay Safe & Continued Success👊

    Boker Small Trigonaut's blade is more sensible in terms of tip penetration and jimping on the blade's base.

    Got jumping…..that is a bit much, otherwise very nice looking combat style blade. The name is even more ridiculous than the circumnavigated jumping. And my goodness for the cost you could order a custom Smilodon from Dirk Pinkerton. Still very nice toys. Thanks for the view.

    I can't believe they used their stupid screws to attach the clip to the sheath

    Reverse tanto correct?

    • @OGBladeReviews
      @OGBladeReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you wish to call it that, it's up to you, however Microtech says, "The Warcom Wharncliffe blade is flat ground with a rounded spine and rugged stonewashed finish..." If you flip over almost any Wharncliffe it could look a bit like a tanto, I suppose. 🤔🗡️🤔

    • @SiliconDrifter
      @SiliconDrifter ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @This Old Sword Blade Reviews thanks man. I'm just confused with thr terminology on how they classify these blade shapes. Protech malibus "reverse tanto" is what thr warcoms blade shape reminds me of. Still love the warcom

    • @awdobsession717

      Yes it’s a reverse tanto. Typically a “wharncliffe blade” has no belly. This knife does.
