His sprocket "upgrade" will make his bike a lot slower, but it will take off like a rocket. I want the exact opposite so I can ride on the highway without torturing my poor engine at 9600 rpm for 30 minutes.
Tom, I'm thinking about throwing a 32 on the back with a stock 14 on the front for more pep, accel, and most importantly, wheelie power. Have you tried this combo? Or do you think I should go further as you have in this video. In general, I use my z for stunts, but I do zip around town on it as well going from place to place trying to avoid trouble and generally just joyriding.
Bob Wiesman Hey Bob! I used to have a punching bag hanging. When I took it down, I had a hanger left over (You can Buy just the hanger at a sporting goods store). I just used two lag bolts into a stud in the ceiling. Held like a champ! I then just used a tie down or two to hold the bike up.
Awesome! I have been waiting weeks to get my swingarm spools from China to install tires and getting tired of just looking at them in the corner hahaha! Putting some Perilli sl60s on them, and also in the process of installing a 7" round headlight bucket for a different look.
Bob Wiesman Have you bought the light yet? I have a round LED headlight (really cool) with a black housing. The light plugs right in and looks cool. Unfortunately, I never figured how to mount it. The company that I got it from just sent the housing and a little spring clip. When I contacted them, the offered no support and were really rude. I have no need for it. I’ll send it to you if you want it. Maybe you can figure it out. I was really excited about it because the light looks awesome.
Zach Johnson Hey Zach! Just look in the description for Dehydration Prevention Kit! There ya go! It is from MNNTHBX. They are awesome dudes with outstanding products!
Hey bro i know this is an old video and you sold the Z but if you see this i have a question . I'm looking to go 13 32 on my Z but i'm not sure what chain to run, 420/120 420/132 natural or o ring ? Lol its all so confusing any help is greatly appreciated .
Shane hey man! The answer to the question is: stock chain works super. If you wanted to replace it, I’m cheap so I’d get the cheapest. The O Ring chains have the lubrication spots sealed and are more dirt and grime resistant to reduce wear. Now, my opinion: keep the stock setup on all gearing! I was miserable most of the time with 13/32. Top speed is 54 or 55. Then you hit the rev limiter. After time, I realized that the difference was not worth the misery from commute penalties. None of the gearing ratios that I tried was better than stock. You can still wheelie with stock just fine. I’d say save your money. Thanks for the question and watching the video! Have a great day!
I'm hooked. Can't wait for the next vid so we can see how it rides!
Thanks for the kickass videos man! Cheers!
Thank you! I appreciate you watching!
Rebel Gears also makes a 36 tooth as well, and close to anything you want on a rear sprocket.
What's your top speed now
More faster or more acceleration?
I want more faster. Witch one I have to use?
how much teeth on OEM front and rear sprocket?
What gearing gave you your greatest speed? Or which was your favorite. Good mix between accel and speed?

Hell yeah
I'm doing the same thing bro.
Love ur video's... Appreciate U Tom
What’s the best size for 2nd 3rd and fourth gear wheelies I’ve heard a lot of people just go from a 14 to a 13 in the front
Pretty sweet.
Thank you!
cant wait to see what that does for the z. hopefully it wont kill your speed to bad
I'll have the video up soon. Top speed is lower as expected.
i'd be interested to see what the top speed is i like the torque but i need to be able to do 50's easily
+Lightspeed video is uploading... :)
The suspense!
+Lightspeed it is up!

Looks good! where did you attach your straps to lift it off the ground? Thanks!

Thanks for the info...will have to try it! So just strap to anywhere on the bike then?
Bob Wiesman I removed the seat and attached the hooks from the straps to the frame Support’s of the bike. Really accessible when the seat was removed.

is the sprocket nuts M10 or M8?
Fuck Yeaa Uncle Tom 🍻👌🏽
Do i need a new chain if i go to a 13t front and 32t rear?
I'm a little confused as it says the stock sprocket size is 43 on the z125 pro. Did this change for the 2017?
what did u use to clean the chain up.
Dan T degreaser spray/cleaning, toothbrush and maybe a toothpick. Dry it off then relube
where'd you get the church key? do you get asked that a lot?

Thanks so much for the advise, always loved the videos .
how one can purchase kawasaki 125 in pakistan?
Masood Ahmed Arif I have no idea. Perhaps purchase elsewhere and put it in your carry-on luggage? :)
Really don't know.
has anyone every t tried a 17t front sprocket with this bike?
Does mnntbx have 15/28 ?
c0uchsl0uch yu want to go faster huh same here
Be careful changing the sprockets so often. You could screw up the chain then you'll be in for a real FUCKED UP DAY!!
Thanks for the heads up. I haven't been really hard on this chain yet. I'll most likely upgrade soon anyway. Thanks again!
