The mechanic put the chain clip on wrong way ,closed end of clip MUST be in direction of wheel travel. For your safety get the clip put on correct way!
Just insist he put it on correctly....takes all of 5 minutes. Clips can & do come off when installed wrong way round & can cause either engine damage or worse an accident.
at top speed of 67mph what where your rpms compared to stock sprocket? Interested in changing my "stunt" sprocket setup on my z for a more higher speed friendly setup.
@@thesighbored now that I think more, your rpm at 67mph will be the same however your indicated 67mph will be off and indicating close to 75. Curious as to what the RPM is at real 60mph stock sprocket and real 60mph your setup. Planning a cross country trip on the Z and want to make the gearing as comfortable as possible on the Z even though I intend to hit backroads
Honestly I doubt changing sprockets will really help much.. 4 gears just isn't enough. It's cruising speed of a 90+ km/h is rather slow, vibrations will get your hands, feet and butt numb, so long distance trips wouldn't be so fun. That's my feeling for this bike anyway. Some other people can bear with it though.
@@thesighbored I completely feel that, but having taken this bike on 300+ mile rides in a day on my current -1 front stock back, without too much soreness I feel this sprocket setup will be healthier for the bike as i'm going the indicated 90kmh-100kmh
Currently at 10,4XX on the motor and its a 2019, she's been ridden a lot this last year. However with oil changes every 1000-1600 miles she is still riding strong.
I prefer the up-sized ones, looks nicer and feels more stable. The stock ones were much more nimble but I would go with extra stability over the nimbleness.
Top speed not affected because it the rev limiter still cuts off close to 106 km/h on speedometer. I wouldn't recommend it for long commutes, the vibes will get to your hands, feet, and butt.
Did u buy the replacement parts yourself saibot? Does blueprint garage not have them in stock? BTW, is it hard to find spares for the brapster? Considering buying a z125 myself for daily commute
Blueprintgarage has the chain but not the sprockets, had another friend help me get the parts.. Parts you can always get from Kawasaki HQ.. What's your daily commute like? This is not a fast bike & vibes at high RPMs so if you have a long commute it's not going to be that comfortable.
Nice bike
Thanks!

I did ask him about the direction, he said it was fine either way, will check again with him.. Thanks!

Was going to point out the same thing!
yes!! NEEDS to be the other way!
Wholeheartedly agree with this as I learned the hard way when my chain burst on an off ramp. Luckily no harm.
Nice video, very helpful. I only wish I knew the torque specs. Thumbs up.
I'll try to find out the torque numbers and share it, thanks!

Just a little lower still 9k+ I think..

Set sprocket motor apa punya bro?
Untuk Kriss.. Tapi kadang-kadang tak muat.. Kena bagi mekanik check betul2
Whats the top speed for the bike?
106 km/h.
@@thesighbored how can you make it go faster?
Probably remove the engine rev cut, install big bore kit, make it a 5 speed, etc. Lots of things you can do, but all costs money.
@@thesighbored I see, thanks for the tip btw.
when Z125 owner said sarcastically his bike can't reach 100km/h. but it is the reality of my bike. FeelBadMan
After changing the sprocket sizes it's worst.. But on the plus side the engine revs are lower, so you sort of conserve fuel.. But slow.
Between stock sizes and this sizes, which one would you recommend?
I prefer the up-sized ones, looks nicer and feels more stable. The stock ones were much more nimble but I would go with extra stability over the nimbleness.
So how about the top speed of the up-sized?
It is good for long commuting? No engine roared noise at 70-80km/h?

may i know where is ur workshop,im Z125 pro owner from jb...unfortunately jb doesn't any accessories or modify parts for my Z... 😢
This workshop I go to doesn't carry any accessories or parts for the Z125 Pro, I usually just source the parts and bring to the workshop to install..

Your bike chain dry like wantan mee ady bro😂 Dry like hell
Yeah I never lubed it at all.. LOL.. Since there's no O rings I figured no point to lube it..
Je veux me le donner, s'il te plait, je t'aime mais je n'ai pas d'argent et je te suis
