    Ex vegan, myself. I gave it all up over 3 years ago after 4 and a half years as an ethical vegan. It got to a point where I had to stop lying to myself and accept how brainwashed I was. By the final days I was struggling to climb the stairs because of exhaustion and that's just one symptom I was suffering with. Others included:
    * Severe bloating where I looked pregnant
    * Skin problems
    * Needing to sleep by the early afternoon
    * Brain fog
    * Heightened depression and anxiety, which I've had since I was a kid but this was worse!
    * Heart palpitations/flutters
    * Feeling 'spaced out'
    * Hair falling out
    * Pale skin
    * Joint pains
    * Weight gain
    * Eyesight deterioration
    I was so hooked on carbs in an attempt to keep my energy up but, knowing what I know now, it was the cause of my low energy. I was addicted to sugar/carbs and it's the reason why I was only able to dabble with carnivore last year. I was around 2 months into it and feeling amazing, but I gave in to the wrong foods on a night out and ultimately switched that 'carb switch' back on and it was so hard to get back into the mindset because the cravings were so bad.
    I'm now on my 8th day as a strict carnivore and I'm already feeling the difference. I'm not giving in this time!
    I tried your "power meal" yesterday with the bacon, eggs and beef mince. DELICIOUS!
    [Edit] I'd like to add that I'm not sorry for doing it because it opened my eyes to the horror of factory farming. It's absolutely disgusting and it makes *real* farmers look bad when they deserve our appreciation and respect for their hard work, not to mention how beautiful they keep our countryside! I cried the first time I ate some smoked salmon and cream cheese, but I have so much more respect for every part of the animal. I'll never EVER go back!

    I was vegan for 10 years but my mental and physical health started to decline drastically. I've been feeling great since I started to eat nurturing food.
    I was having self doubt like maybe I wasn't doing things right or my mind was playing tricks on me.
    That changed today after I spoke with a coworker who grew up being a vegan because her entire family is vegan.
    I explained the issues I had and she said she had similar issues but way worse but it got better once she started to eat meat and animal products.
    She said majority of her family is suffering from health issues because they are vegan.

    Veganism is most often an ideology that kids cling to because it feels only natural to not want to hurt animals, however, unfortunately, nature is rarely kind and humans were always meant to eat meat. I was never a vegan but once I started eating only meat, that is when my real life began. I suffered brain fog so bad I had to drop out of college, I ached in just about every inch of my body, I had migraines so bad they would cripple me for days. I had seen numerous doctors spending thousands of dollars and not one asked me what I was eating. I will always be compassionate to animals and believe in humane slaughter practices, but I will never stop the carnivore diet.

      Last year 62 million birds, per the EPA died horrible deaths due to pesticides poisoning. If vegans ate like me, compassionate Carnivore then so many more animals will live. Because vegans require a multitude of vegetables and processed fillers so many animals die terrible deaths. Besides birds, fox, rabbit, deer, moles and countless insects all dead. On my diet 1 cow has a happy live and dies and I get 400 meals... a vegan eats 1 salad and many, many animals have to die. I am way more compassionate vs you. Why don't you just eat carrots only? So many less deaths if you didn't require such a multitude of pesticide treated vegetables

      The best way to ensure compassion to animals is to raise them yourself compassionately. The whole subcontinent of India has believed this for thousands of years which is why they use dairy and often eggs. They also considered the cow as part of their family. There have been multiple generations of vegetarian cultures based around dairy, but no vegans in history that last 3 generations. Usually fertility lowers a lot in the first generation, and if the second generation survives they are not fertile. Note that many developed countries consider it child abuse to put a baby on a vegan diet. I think veganism is fine if you're a monk trying to lower your sex drive, which was often done with monks in all-male monasteries in Asia. Most Buddhist and Hindu cultures distinguish between the diet of an ascetic spiritual seeker and a regular householder. A householder needs to work, till the soil, and be fertile to create a family. Monks beg for the food and are trying to abstain from sex.

No more arthritis and joint pain, no more sunburns, i can see better at night when driving, my energy levels are very stable and endless it seems. I no longer have to drink a gallon of water a day or eat six times a day, i have zero cravings, my breath no longer stinks, i no longer get plaque, no more body odor... the benefits are endless it seems but the best thing hands down was my stress and anxiety have almost completely vanished.

I’m down about 25 pounds from 400 plus. Down 4 pounds from yesterday. I know much of it is water but still that’s wieght im not having to carry today. Have been able to get out and walk some. I’m turning 62 in about 3 weeks. This seems to work like fasting but not I’m eating. It really trips me out. Have to accountability of possibly being in a documentary would be powerful. The first few bites of meat were hard to do, all of the vegan voices are crying out not to, but then you do and you realize that this is the proper human diet. On the animal compassion thing - for me it makes more sense to be healthy since once your body declines you use a lot of gas going to doctors, all the medicine and medical products made of plastic that fill landfills and poison our land. I was diabetic for a short while before carnivore and the plastic and medical waste from just my small experience was unreal when you multiply it times the population. The more of us who eat lots of meat and demand better treatment of animals the better meat will be raised. The cycle of life is sometimes a harsh reality but humans are the only ones on this planet that can soften the blow.
    I’m excited to see another carnivore channel, but not just that, it’s heartening to see people actually getting healthier and staying that way for life. I’m struggling myself to come back from neurological disease and having tried vegan that put my health into a tailspin and approaching full carnivore I’m finally starting to see my old strength coming back. If only I’d known years ago how much the proper human diet can heal.

    I changed the way I was eating shortly after I was diagnosed with T2 diabetes in June of 2022. I have been eating mostly animal based with some vegetables here and there (mostly kimchi). I have put my diabetes into remission after 3 months lost about 110 lbs (now 203 lbs at 6'3"). I have also eliminated a myriad of other ailments which many I didn't even know I had until I became healthy. Feel so much better and this way of eating is truly liberating from food obsessions and a path to true health. It seems like it would cost more but it really doesn't. You don't buy all the garbage food and all the complimentary add-ons. You should also consider saving all that money on medications and doctors when you just don't need them anymore. NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS BEING HEALTHY FEELS!!!

Glad to see vegans are learning more about these things and understanding animals can have a wonderful happy life and then be food. 😊 Cycle of life and the death is more humane than the wild where typically other animals eat their pray while it's still alive! I went vegan for ethical reasons and then convinced myself of the health benefits. Well my health tanked. I had completely brainwashed myself into believing veganism was the way. I know what she went through. It was difficult for me the first few weeks but now 2 years later of heavy animal based diet and I’m feeling great. The only time I feel off is when I eat too many plants. I’m not completely carnivore, but the amount of plants I eat are very little. I’ve been watching your recent videos! So happy for all of you, and so inspiring! I’ve been learning about carnivore for about a year, and it’s very important for these beautiful young ladies to have a high high fat diet. Tallow, pork, fat, bacon, butter, and avocado for mineral balance. You can look at Stephanie persons videos to understand why some vegetables are healthy. I think carnivore is a great, initial, cleanse, but introducing back some vegetables into the diet helps keep your gut bacteria varied, so you don’t have issues with variety later on.

    I've been keto/ketovore for over 6 years. It has helped but not all I want for my health. I trying to push towards carnivore. It's had as a mom cooking for 4 others in the family. Especially cooking for my 90yr old mother, she will have nothing to do with keto or carnivore. I know I feel better closer to carnivore. Good for your daughter. Compassionate Carnivore. That's a good one.

    Great video. I did Carnivore for 6 months last year but then I eventually quit. This video is motivating me to start up again.

    Emma you are beautiful 😻 So happy to see you regaining your strength and health back. So happy to see more and more young adults turning to the carnivore woe. My 16 yr old daughter is eating more carb heavy nowadays and I’m seeing the results of that choice. I’ll see if she’ll watch this video and hopefully it’ll influence her to eat more animal protein. I’d love to hear more about your carnivore journey and any updates.
    I feel that as we and our young people heal, we’ll heal the planet (corny but I think it’s true). Meat has a way of making you feel almost zen-like, calm & strong not just in body but in mind and emotions. I’ll purchase a t-shirt in support of your goals; rooting for your family from Canada 🇨🇦

    So I just finished my 1st week of carnivore! I’m 65 years old and I’ve lost 7 lbs. I can’t wait to see how I feel in two, three and four weeks! Love your encouraging videos! I gave toward your documentary during the live feed of the 24 hour marathon and am so excited to see it!!!

    "Can i have more bacon?"😂This is so great. This is an important perspective. Really looking forward to your documentary. I'm currently on day 1 of carnivore after compounding health issues for the past year. I've been carnivore before and felt great but took it for granted. I'm 32 and have been feeling close to death for 6 months now. I needed to make this change for several reasons. I appreciate your videos for helping me stay consistent. Also, A Man Named Otto made me cry so many times... haha . Thank you all!

    My husband and I were vegan/vegetarian on and off (switching between the two) for almost 40 years (since I was 18-years old). I told people we were doing it for "health reasons", but in truth, in made us unhealthy and we both suffered because of it. After my mother-in-law got Alzheimer's we started doing research and decided vegan/veg was not the best thing to do for "health". Shortly after we started eating seafood, then meat. A few months later, my husband was diagnosed with rectal cancer. He has been going through treatment (radiation/chemo/surgery) for the past year and is recovering now. What happened to "vegetarians don't get colorectal cancer"? It made me so mad that we wasted half our lives missing out on nutrients that could help is in our older age. I'm an emotional eater and I have a carb addiction. I haven't taken the plunge to carnivore yet but I'm so close! I love the idea of a documentary!

    I bought a freezer and 1/2 side of beef from a local farmer. Just happened to coincide with when I went carnivore! Best purchase ever!!

    So glad I found you guys. I love the dynamic between father and daughter. I love everything about the Contant . Your mission ,the transparency.. the cause! An ur self sacrifice for us to see! Thank u . I was trying to figure out the words. But I don’t have words right now. I love the perspective of her being a vegan and then I seen the transformation.

    I am so happy for you! I had lost 85 pounds with keto and was at a plateau until I started carnivore a couole of weeks ago. I have lost 7 pounds in the two weeks. I now need to lose another 15 pounds to get to my goal weight. I was planning on just doing a 30 day challenge, but may extend that as long as I don't lose too much weight. I am looking forward to seeing your documentary.

    I loved this video. This is my first time seeing your content! This was the 3 or 4 video or yours I have watched now... planning on watching more. Love the energy and you guys seem like such a great loving family. As for the Carnivore Docu... OMG PLS YES! I would love to dispel the myth that being carnivore automatically means you are a cruel human that doesn't care about animals. That couldn't be farther from the truth! Compassionate Carnivore should be how all "human carnivores" eat. It's not only a better life for the animals but often results in higher quality food for us. Thank you so much for this. Such a breath of fresh air.

    Brian Sanders on the channel Food Lies is working on a great documentary, and they're about to put up the docu-series Reversed with Dr. Berry, Chaffee, Maria Emmerich, and others all staying in Costa Rica together with type 2 diabetes patients.

    I am 476 pounds and just started Carnivore. I have to change my life. I just turned 50 and I can barely walk and my legs and feet constantly hurt, and I have two bad hips that they can’t replace until I loose a lot of weight. I am just tired of being a prisoner in my own body. Wish me luck. Thank you for the encouraging videos.
