- Risk Fortress 2 is a new community gamemode heavily inspired by and based on Risk of Rain 2. You and your teammates are forced to fight against the never-ending horde of enemies that progressively gets tougher and tougher, buying crates which contain items along the way to further boost your power. With currently 76 items to collect, 8 stages and several unique bosses, how long can you last?

Thanks for giving this game mode a try. Cookiecat has been working really hard on it. I really appreciate that there are still some TH-camrs willing to give custom game modes a try. People used to showcase these game a lot years ago but not so much in the present day. Even if base TF2 isn't getting updates there are still dedicated people making new content for this game all the time.

Glad you decided to check out this really cool gamemode, I personally love this server and I'm glad you enjoyed it too!
And so he left. Yearning for more hats and busted bolts. This is such a cool gamemode as somebody who's invested so much time into Risk of Rain 2 + Returns. I'll try to get my group of friends to play this at some point or I'll try it out for myself when possible.
It makes me happy to see the spotlight put on TF2’s more niche game modes. I’m also happy CookieCat’s game mode is a success! He’s always been a talented SourceMod author, and seeing him get this big break is inspiring.

A problem I’m noticing is proc reduction makes no sense and pretty much make proc items useless because all the ones who could properly use them have massive reduction

Pilot Pyro in the intro entering the pod should've been pyro with a fempyro model wearing the Pyromancer's Raiments outfit. (and maybe the sentry gun as the chef idunno you do you)

I recently came up with a new way to play the basic game.
I call it Trainknight.
Its objective-based Demoknight with the pain train
as a fan of Risk of rain and TF2
this gamemode is Y E S
I'd love to see someone make a version of Fortress Connected (Formerly Lambda Fortress Community Edition) that plays like ROR2, complete with unlockable characters

I wonder if proc coefficient is a thing in this gamemode
it is, lot of naturally fast-firing weapons have reduced proc for obvious reasons, the one thing I don't know is which items exactly are just a proc chance or a flat chance

This video single handedly made me buy Risk of Rain 2 and its DLC! but then i just straight up dropped Tf2 because why get a weapon every hour when I can play a risk of rain run for 8?

why do weak classes have their basekit nerfed so hard, but the strong classes don't get significant nerfs at all?
