- Volunteer Point on the Falkland Islands is one the most popular destinations to visit due to the King Penguin colony that has made it their home.
I visited Volunteer Point by helicopter - flying from Stanley Aiport and landing in Volunteer Point for a couple of hours on the ground. The King Penguin colony had a lot of chicks and it was certainly one of the highlights of my visit to The Falklands.

Its almost looks like a Penguin 🐧 colony rather than a British colony. This island is thinly populated that I just wonder when I think of Indian Islands of Andaman and Nicobar, less talk about Lakshyadweep and Minicoy Islands where I haven't visited.

There is an island called Ganga Sagar which is located in the delta region of the river Ganges meeting Bay of Bengal. Every year there is a large gatherings of Hindu pilgrims occurred in Ganga Sagar Island and it is the second largest fair in the world. Are you interested to visit the fair in Ganga Sagar Island next year in the middle of January. You can see the video of Alex on Ganga Sagar fair. I may accompany you during your visit.
