This is a Fabulous video, with incredible information, about a visit to Volunteer Point in the Falklands. The explanation about the different types of penguins living there was extraordinary and very informative. The video shots panning the penguins' movements were spectacular. Watching this, I actually felt as if I were physically there, on site, enjoying the tour with the LuxuryTravelDocs.
This trip was definitely a wonderful experience, I wish I can go on trips like this, but since I can’t at the moment . It’s great watching videos like this , so thank you for sharing
This is a trip that is absolutely on our list. We looked at one for our next trip but got a better deal on another. This was amazing. Makes me want to go even more! ❤
Those King Penguins were huge! I think the penguins were conscious you were observing them, but they didn't mind. It's a delight to watch them! ❤ That seal was a spoiler though 😒 Patrick Watts sounds like a great tour group. To think, you got a good deal and a great experience, as well ✨️
Great video. Thanks for your information about Patrick Watts tour. How did you find and contact the cruise critic group for your cruise itinerary? We will be going to Falkland Islands on a cruise soon
The email contact for Patrick is in the video description. Start there to reserve for yourself. They can tell you if others from your sailing are signed up. You’ll love it! On CC find your roll call - cruiseline, boat then date.
I have a question if I may. It appeared that a penguin or two didn’t make it back into the video when the seal was in the area. I’m researching for this same cruise on Viking and was wondering if you just cut that part? I know my wife will be curious when I show her this video so I’d like to be prepared with an answer. Thank you
@@LuxuryTravelDocs thank you for the rapid reply. I’m sure that I will have many questions as I continue to look into this Cruise. My wife and I are older and we are not socially active on the Internet (no Facebook etc…) so TH-cam and Cruise critic and a few other forums are our only window into what to expect. Any suggestions or recommendations regarding any aspect of this bucket list trip would be greatly appreciated, especially any of those that include tips on saving money. Do you recommend booking round trip airfare through Viking? Any must do pre or post cruise extensions?

Glad you enjoyed it! It’s nice to share our experiences!
All I can say is that those penguins are super adorable and so nice seeing so many of them together as well.
It was an incredible experience!

We didn’t see anything like that at volunteer point or even at Puerto Madryn when we saw orca hunting. Fortunately!
