Aloha Sam, Thanks for sharing your top 5 New release record albums of 2022. I'm so behind on new bands , but thanks to you, I can research the bands You've recommended. Out of all the record albums you shared today I only have one, Which is SILK SONIC. I enjoy listening to new bands, but I buy more used classic record albums, I tend to get more record albums dat way. Looking forward to watching your next video. Mele Kalikimaka Sam. Mahalo Ed
Just discovered your channel, very good picks, and Silk Sonic! Hell Yes, I dig that album I had it as my # 2, Thanks for all the cool videos, you have a very good channel, Peace!
Thanks so much for the Peace De Résistance recommendation. I found it on YT and before the first minute I was in love. Getting that one for sure. Happy holidays and thank you for all the great music you've shared this year.
Great choices. Gonna check that number one out. Thanks 1) The Cult - Under The Midnight Sun 2) Sami Yaffa - The Innermost Journey To Your Outermost Mind. 3) OFF! - Free LSD 4) Tribute to John Anderson - Something Borrowed Something New 5) Wet Leg 6) both Jack Whites 7) Boris W and Heavy Rocks
Thanks again for introducing me to that amazing album! I was so pleasantly surprised by that OFF! album, I can totally see how it would be your #1 for 2022
The guitar riffs on the Off! album is killer. Bits And Pieces is a great record. Institute is also a great band. Check out Smirk if you haven't heard them.
Hi Sam 👋 - I can't wait to check out your # 1 ! My Top 3 were Alvvays ( Pronounced Always ) , The Smile & Wilco ( Still only available digitally ) My favorite song was Many Worlds from The Wilco album - Merry Christmas 🎅 !
🎄Thanx for giving me my Christmas Soundtrack! PdeResistance sound amazing 🐲 I put songs I like on my playlist Raves Faves n Saves. Good luck 🍀 on yer new J.O.B.
Yes, Free LSD by OFF! is a fantastic album, and I agree that it's their best. I saw them live a few days ago and they played the whole album from start to finish. Amazing! I saw them live 5 or 6 years ago, and this is a very different sounding band.
Love Boris and sometimes I say they are my favorite rock band of all time but, as with King Gizzard (love them too) I hate the fact their records (both on vinyl and on CD) are so many and so expensive so it's impossible to get or collect all their stuff.
I like the two albums released by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and the two by Jack White. But I'd have to say the one I keep going back to is "Lucifer on the Sofa" by Spoon.
I haven't heard the entirety of RHCP or Jack White's albums just a few songs from each, but I wasn't that impressed with them... but maybe I just have to listen to the albums in their entirety. I've seen that Spoon album on a lot of people's best of list, I'm gonna have to pick that one up.
I like your video check out this band called sick on the bus. Albums called if it ain't broke break it it's an incredible hardcore album have a nice Christmas
I wonder if Peace da resistance was influenced by The Stooges or Lou Reed? 🤣 Only issue I have with that album is its lack of variety, to my ears every track is very same same
Happy Holidays Sam, I love the tshirt. Watching from London UK 🇬🇧

I bought very few new albums in 2022, but the one I enjoyed the most was Expert in a Dying Field by The Beths, an indie band from New Zealand.
I'm going to have to check out The Beths!
Thanks for this interesting and informative list! Lots of stuff I hadn’t heard of before or needed a reminder to check out.
Gotta listen to that Off album now. Thanks, Sam!
The Smile is my favourite from this year. Great album. Really nice list, I'll give a listen to OFF! album. Thanks

Holy crap this Piece de Resistance album is amazing! So glad you introduced me to this one. Gonna buy it right away.
I wish there was a bit more variation on that album, every track is samey same
I’ve been trying to get a hold of The Smile cuz I’m a huge Radiohead fan..they’re in my top three favourite bands!
I agree . That Smile album and the Off album are my best this year to ! 👍
The guitar riffs on the Off! album is killer. Bits And Pieces is a great record. Institute is also a great band. Check out Smirk if you haven't heard them.
Killer man, killer. Way to elaborate, old man.
@@BadTurntable Dull man, dull. Way to be uninspiring, lame troll.
@@vinylrichie007 Richie you give the term dirty old man a whole new icon!
Some very nice choices, thank you for sharing

Peace de resistance is the absolute Pelicans nuts.

Glad you had a good time at their show! I was super bummed when I wasn't able to see them when they came to Portland earlier this month.
Parts of that Piece De Tesistance are really reminiscent of Brian Eno’s ‘Here Come The Warm Jets’ album, which you may have showed?
Yes, I finally got that Eno album this year. And I can totally hear the comparison with Piece De Resistance
Love Boris and sometimes I say they are my favorite rock band of all time but, as with King Gizzard (love them too) I hate the fact their records (both on vinyl and on CD) are so many and so expensive so it's impossible to get or collect all their stuff.
@hwetcreto Where is this chat?

Great video my friend
An album is only good if you like it. Don't be swayed by going for the same old, same old.
I like your video check out this band called sick on the bus. Albums called if it ain't broke break it it's an incredible hardcore album have a nice Christmas
Kastrierte Philosophen kanske skulle passa dej.
Sam, I love your taste and would be honored if you listened to my songs and let what you think? ❤🤘🏻
I wonder if Peace da resistance was influenced by The Stooges or Lou Reed? 🤣
Only issue I have with that album is its lack of variety, to my ears every track is very same same
