I'm so glad to see you getting into 45s! Yeah, it's hard to find a clean copy of those Seeds LPS, the kids played them to death! That Angry Samoans record is so fun, it's only like 30 minutes long too! And yeah, The Cramps. They changed my life back in 1983 when I fist heard them.

It's also funny, in the 2000's I was regularly talking with Metal Mike Saunders from the Angry Samoans...we got to talking cuz he was into teenpop, cuz in his eyes, teenpop was like punk cuz it delighted people as much as it annoyed, haha...
The Cramps LP is a great one. Awesome guitars on that. I found a copy this year as well. Rarely see anyone show Angry Samoans. I have a rare tape of a radio show hosted by Eddie Vedder where he played Dave Grohl doing a killer cover of Gas Chamber. Great finds all around. I need to check out the Gories. Peace.
Merry Xmas, nice finds 👍 Japanese vinyl itself is great but not always the pressings, they didn't always get first gen master tapes and the mastered in Japan stuff isn't the best. What you want is US or UK stampers pressed to Japanese vinyl, the best of both worlds. I avoid Japanese pressing unless I know what source was used.
I still have my Gories 45 from back in the day. It's red. The Seeds album is awesome. My intro to that band was their second album A Web Of Sound. Merry Holidays

Merry Xmas, Sam. I just found my copy of the Seeds album in the wild 3 days ago. It is an original stereo US press. The jacket is a little rough. It has a 2” seam split on the bottom and some scotch tape on the top, but the vinyl is stunningly clean. Not a visible mark, and almost no audio imperfections. More than happy to get it.

Ive got a Gories- Nitroglycerin 45 being imported. I was looking at cramps stuff last night, most of the early early stuff is just completely unavailable at any cost right now
Hi Sam - Oh Yeah is on Flesh & Blood & a 10 minute version of the trippy South Downs is on The Thrill Of It All 💿 Box set from the mid 90's. It's a great boxset.
That Cramps album is a favorite. I'm sure I have more Cramps records than any other band. Muddy Waters is my favorite Blues musician. Very cool that you got a Mono 1st press. Back To Samoa is in my top ten Punk albums.

In the 1980's I would always look for OG copies , my stereo wasn't the best as far as sound quality went, but I jest wanted OG's , sad to say most of those are gone now, but I still have a few White label promos, which to me sounds great because they were the first batches that were press on the stampers. My prize find this year would be Grateful Dead's 72, White Label Promo 1972 release. Thanks again Sam. Looking forward to watching your next video. Mahalo Ed

Japanese vinyl itself is great but not always the pressings, they didn't always get first gen master tapes and the mastered in Japan stuff isn't the best.
What you want is US or UK stampers pressed to Japanese vinyl, the best of both worlds.
I avoid Japanese pressing unless I know what source was used.
