- We asked foreigners in Mumbai about the one word that comes to their mind when they hear 'India', about their favourite Indian food and the places they liked the best, during their travels.
We got some amazing and diverse responses with everything from Dosa to Biryani and Taj Mahal to Kochi making the list. Check out the video yourself!

It's really tough to define India in one word. But being an Indian myself, I'd say रंगीन. Which means colourful :)

Wonderful to see outsiders liking India and praising it's vibrancy and diversity in everything. But it's also sad that these people hardly have seen the total India which is understandably quite difficult and expensive as well for one trip. I'd love to hear someone from outside talking about the country, it's peoples, foods, natural beauty and cultures in a video after having covered the total mosaic of India.

No body actually said beautiful. People are so 2 faced. Maybe Inside they're thinking it's a shit hole. A child beggar at 2.32 min came straight in and interrupted. This is one the biggest hates from a tourist point of view. As soon as a beggar sees a foreign person, they'll beg and won't leave them alone until they get something. And as soon as you give 1 beggar something 50 others will turn up out of nowhere.
I think one could encounter this "begger thing" in any country. But in india you'll see it most because for foreigners india seems a very cheap country. For them 1 doller (75 rs) seems nothing but for a beggar 75rs is alot. They target foreigners because they seems easy target to make fool of... And the 2 face you were talking about is.. 1st foreigners give money to beggers out of pity and feel good about themselves in their own.. and 2nd they feel looted after some time. 😐
