- It's Adepticon next week so its time to guess what's coming, plus there's been some leaks so we can make some educated guesses, especially when it comes to AoS. Rats anyone?
It looks like Age of Sigmar 4th edition might be the big talking point of the show, and for Warhammer 40000 it could be a new Inquisition codex as we've seen some leaked images, then again it could be a new Chaos Space Marine HQ character.
Let me know in the comments what you think is coming for Adepticon, and I'll be sure to reply as I always read the comments and respond.
Also, if you haven’t yet seen it, the latest episode of 'The Morehammer Podcast' is out now, and you can find it via the Podcast section on my channel home page or at the below link :

Did you see the "Hope cast into ruins" video just before, or after your video finished uploading? XD
But yeah, AoS 4th ed box is 100% SCE vs Skaven. I don't expect a full box reveal here though. Probably just one Stormcast, and a clanrat/plague monk/nightrunner/stormvermin. They'll save the rest of the box for a dedicated AOS 4 preview stream some time in April/May.
I still think we haven't quite seen the last of the Dawnbringer campaign series, even if they were forced to reveal the Darkoath stuff prematurely. It just doesn't seem like the kind of thing you end a narrative event on.
Even without the Adepticon silhouette of the obvious CSM Lord, which dropped a couple of hours before commenting here, I would have been more shocked if they didn't reveal some CSM minis this week. Between the Orks, Custodes, and full T'au/Kroot releases, we're probably looking at CSM being more than 2 months away. By then, we'll likely have another 40k preview for the GSC, Sisters and beyond. We'll probably even be lucky to get an updated roadmap.
Next Warcry box is most certainly something vs Bonereapers.
Dwarves (or more correctly, a dwarf) is believable enough for Old World.
I've no reason to doubt the GSC Brood Brothers vs League of Votann rumour for KT... but I'm also prepared for GW to only reveal one team here.
Underworlds could probably include some Nurgle. We've had a few Nurgle related Rumour Engine teasers, and they're one of a few factions to only have had a single warband in the game.
The key, overlooked phrase from the lineup poster is "exciting teasers" for Necromunda and Horus Heresy...
In other words, they will not be getting model reveals at all.
For Necromunda, a simple 2d animated teaser, for a new expansion like "Secundus", similar to what they had for Ash Wastes, would certainly fit.
As for Horus Heresy, "teasing" something that's already been announced would be a major disappointment. Instead, I can see it getting either a similar style animated teaser to what I expect Necromunda to get, OR, another one of those videos with quick glimpses of model silhouettes, like we get around New Years. The models would have to be particularly exciting though... like another updated Primarch model, new armour Marks, or a whole new/updated faction.
The Hope cast into ruin appeared about 3 minutes after I clicked publish on the video 😂
I think you are correct and we will see some Chaos Marines to go along with that Lord, and to be honest for the rest of of it I think you have pretty much hit the nail on the head, absolutely spot on.
Will be an interesting show for sure, and at Adepticon last year they only showed a couple of Terminators and some Termagants for 40K, so I’m thinking the same for AoS like you say.

Too bad the leading rumour for CSM only gives them two new lords (one on foot, one with jump pack).
Their bikers are going on 26 years old and are in desperate need of an update.
The rest of their infantry are pretty modern. Raptors/Warp Talons were just unlucky they got updated before new-scale Marines were a thing.
Need the Skaven! Also agree that it will be the Dwarfs next for ToW
I guess the big thing they could tease for Horus Heresy would be Mechanicus/Dark Mechanicum.
Yeah, I think it will be the mechanicus knights
Surprised & disappointed that redacted may be the agents of the imperium book, glad I found out via a leak than a stream though, imagine the "where are Emperor's Children?" backlash on stream. Oh well, I guess it makes sense since GW will be busy making AoS 4th instead of a big 40k army. I don't know too much AoS lore but maybe Sigmar has been using warpstone that he got from the Skaven or something and didn't tell anyone? No idea, looking forward to it, Skaven are always fun designs.
The leak and the redacted codex might not necessarily be related, although it’s likely due to the inquisition and their love of redacting things.
Not a bad theory ref Sigmar!
Sigmar Lied was 1000% made by Fatshark. Thats a videogame trailer yall. Similar release "Style" to how Fatshark did all their Tide games. Skaven come in the summer with a confirmed Tide game on top of it. Hopium is real but that trailer is uncanny.
Now that would be good!! New Vermintide game yes yes!
