when i officially got it restored, instead of doing the apple logo nd the loading bar, it just went back to the disabled page and asked me again for the ipad

all you need is a mac, a charger, and a disables ipad but you dont need to use itunes so do it

I followed these steps exactly. I watched the video throughout the process but mid way through the iPad turns on and goes to the previous problem "iPad is disabled. Connect to iTunes." Then my iTunes says "this iPad has a password. Please type password to continue." Or something along those lines. I have no idea what to do. I think it might be for the fact that I rely on iCloud rather than backing up to my computer. Please somebody help me. This is a serious problem and is really frustrating
That is exactly what's happening to me and I have to agree that it is incredibly frustrating. I don't know what to do and I've tried this process twice already and at this point, I don't know what to do.

Hello, I have got the same message too. What I did is click Cancel, and after that shut it down. Then, follow those steps. Hope that helps! (This is for Windows ONLY)

Well I fallowed this utube video to the tee and when I hit the restore button the lab top ten seconds into the procedure the screen went black yet I could still hear the lab top running then 10 seconds later the lab top went quite and all sign of life and a minute later the I pad screen went black now the lab top won't power on for the fist time since I purchased it any suggestion to what has happened or to why this happened would greatly be appreciated I'm clueless to what went wrong so now I guess I'm out a lab top and my iPad is still passcode locked

Need help I got a ipad from rent to own. So it's used. It has a password on it and I downloaded itunes but it needs a password to do anything. So what else can I try to remove it
Just follow the steps in the video above. You will have to reset the whole deivce to remove the password and get to the start up screen.

I couldn't restore my iPad password as it asked me for a password then I put it in and It said I couldn't sign in so I done the steps that make u lose all of your stuff but before I clicked update it said restore ipad so click on that not update

please help me, my iPad is on recovery mode so I connected it on my computer and I 'update and restore' it, BUT the loading bar is not showing, it says "iTunes is currently downloading software for the iPad "iPad"." AND the recovery mode keeps closing (my iPad keeps starting to normal instead of recovery mode so I keep repeating the steps). I've been trying to restore my iPad for 5 hours straight but I can't do it.

ITunes says can't connect because it needs a passcode but it's disabled so obv I can't enter my pass! Also the software is updating twice I.e there are two simultaneous downloads, both the same. I think because the first time I did it iTunes didn't open up so I did everything again. So I stopped one of them is that okay?!

Have you put it into recovery mode? If your iPad is disabled it's not gonna allow you to access it unless you put it in the password (which you don't because it's disabled) so you have to go into Recovery Mode.
