Hi, Janet. This is a great recipe. Cannot use flax seeds flour, any substitute for that? Blessings!!! Thanks!!!
You can use 2TBS coconut flour plus 2TBS psyllium husk powder to replace the flaxseed meal. The dumplings will have a slightly different taste and texture due to the extra psyllium husk powder but they will still taste yummy

Yes it does thicken a little
I don't have flax seed meal, could I use eggs?
You can. Start with 1 egg. The 2 biggest things are you want to make sure the dough is holding its shape well but not too moist
