This is Exmark Metro 36 with a Trac vac 470 leaf vacuum works great. The method I'm using, grind it up first and then collect the remainder. Is the best way to use this. It takes a while to grind it up, but you remove far less material using this method.
This was 4 trash cans, before they banned the plastic bags, I would use the 55 gallon drum liners and it would be 12 bags to do this same job. I run high lift blades for the vacuum capabilities and I only grind the leaves up to a certain point. That way I can still collect the remaining leaves and still have a pretty good appearance when I'm done. You can do the same thing with your grass catcher it just doesn't work as efficiently.
Applaude your determination but id be tarping and using a leaf loader. Too much dumping from can to can and lots of obstacles. Brave for taking on that mess.
Thank you, I appreciate it. I have a 13 hp Billy goat leaf loader and I have used it at this property previously. The difference between grinding up with the mower and using the leaf loader is I only had to remove four trash cans full of leaves rather than a trailer load and had no need to go to the dump. This works great by myself. This wouldn't be the best choice if you had a crew.
That is one badass leaf vacuum.😮😎😉🫡

How many cans you have for full after this one?
