We never got a chance to do this excellent DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins. We played this on the PC on high settings, so it could look amazing. We are also redoing all the Arkham games leading up to Arkham Knight, and updating the Complete Saga vid, which never had Arkham Origins and was done on the 360. On the PC it looks amazing!
On New Year's Eve, GothCorp industrialist Ferris Boyle wins the Wayne Foundation Humanitarian of the Year Award at the New Year's Eve Ceremony hosted by Bruce Wayne at Wayne Manor. Just as they are about to celebrate an explosion knocks people off their feet, also creating a large iceberg along with several people being frozen. Penguin's henchmen enter just as a tall, heavily armed man in a mechanized suit with a freeze ray demands to see Ferris Boyle. Bruce searches for Alfred, but is captured by Penguin's henchmen. Alfred is knocked unconscious when attempting to fight back, causing Bruce to snap and retaliate by subduing them all. Alfred watches over the guests, while Bruce enters the Batcave via the wine cellar. He learns that the man's name is 'Mr. Freeze' and Alfred suggests donning the XE suit. Since it's not ready to be tested, Bruce dons the original Christmas Eve suit. Batman makes his way back to the Manor, where the power starts to go off as the thugs start to torch the mansion. Alfred and the guests are recaptured, forcing Batman to save them all.
As always, we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create one fluid cinematic experience

The knockout on Ferris Boyle is perhaps the most satisfying of them all. Only a shame it did not last longer.
Makes me wish that animated Batman did that the original 'Heart of Ice'.

We are doing every Batman on PC high settings building up to Arkham Knight, and updating the Arkham Series Movie vid. We never got a chance to do Cold, Cold Heart actually, and chronologically it's the first vid in the series. The only other one that comes before are the Ninja missions for Bruce, but those don't have much of a story. Keep an eye out for these classic games as we will be releasing them in the upcoming weeks!
i would highly recommend you goto Reddit and post this in r/pcmasterrace because you do PC vids on High Settings theyd all love this

In Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman/Bruce Wayne was voiced by actor Roger Craig Smith. He brought his own unique interpretation to the character, adding depth and intensity to the role.

This was an awesome cutscene to this game I felt bad for Mr freeze on this one it's odd how it's a lot different from that awful Batman and Robin movie when Freeze was stealing jewels to find a cure for his wife from Mcgregor syndrome, but I do love that new Batsuit looks so bad ass. if only this part to the game wasn't in DLC version when it could've been added to the next mission after the joker defeated.

Why did people hate the arkham origins game so much? Still don't get it.
Well for me, it's not that I hated it, I could just tell it wasnt exactly the same as the other arkham games, it just had that unexplainable feeling, yknow?

Some hated it because it is like lost in the Arkham story. But majority hated it for it's bugs.

The creators promised a different villian other than the Joker. But they mislead us and made Joker the main villian instead of Black Mask.
The relationship between Batman and Freeze is like neutral, Freeze try’s to kill Batman sometimes but they form some sort of alliance almost Everytime.

i'm really not much of an arkham origins fan compared to batman arkham city, but i have to say, i really like that ending dialogue of this DLC.
Playing as just Bruce gives it a distinctive badass feel.

Yeah I liked the part how they containment upgrades was able to preserve heat capacity in his suit to express heating teamprures and break through harden ice.

Mr. Freeze is gonna hate hell more than anyone in hell.
The deepest levels of Hell are frozen solid. The idea being that the closer you are to God, the more you feel the warmth of his love ( it's why people who have seen God are almost always burned in some fashion.) The further away you are, the less warmth there is, until all there is is ice. You learn this in pretty much any class that discusses the Divine Comedy.

Roger Craig Smith is definitely a talented voice actor, and he's voiced Batman in various animated projects before. He could bring a fresh take to the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman if given the opportunity.

How did WB Games Montreal go from this depiction of Mr Freeze to the utter boredom that is Gotham Knights?! What sucks the most about this is that generally speaking an idea or product should be refined or done better the second time you do it but instead like any failure Gotham Knights just doesn’t compare to Arkham Origins.
