That is why the scheme has started with less number of openings and 25% may seem low now. Over the time, we will build more infrastructure and recruitment will be high and 25% people who will be selected in the future would equal or be more than the current selected candidates.

Sir if we will get 7-8 years service we are not able to apply for officer entry and also we can't apply for any other high level govt job .we can't uphill ourselves and after 7 years our age is about 27 years so we are not able to apply for any job that can give us better eminites then capf . We will bound to join CAPF .

Thier welfare of theirs is crucial and government has all the experts and bureaucrats to find other ways to increase revenue for our nation in a sustainable way. I don't support this Agniveer scheme. Protest against the Agnipath Scheme was highly politicized. Even if the govt doesn't provide job security after 4 years, it's still a gainful venture for aspirants. Instead of wasting 4 years in some mediocre college, aspirants will get wonderful exposure, discipline, and a salary. However, the concerns raised by the Defence Forces sound logical and must be looked into.
