The root cause is due to demographic overrun by kuki immigrants. More people, louder voice for a separate kukiland, a long term planning. Meiteis are demanding ST to protect their land, rather equality to all communities. Meiteis demand a very sincere and unbiased NRC based on 1961 census. Assam already implemented NRC. Why delaying in Manipur.

Question to ask to all Indian If Kuki (not all Kuki) are Indian why are they against kicking out, let alone finding out illegal immigrants . All we ask is prove their nationality. Kukis are also called Mizo or Zofate in Mizoram and in some part of Lamka ( Churachandpur) district. So, this war is not just between the kuki community and Meiteis. It also a clashes between all the Zo tribes who surrounded all the valley areas...
