Thanks for showing this local market on the "outskirts" of Bangkok. These are the places I truly enjoy visiting. I've found the ferris wheels in Thailand to be more scary than any roller coaster I've been on in the US.
Hahaha I agree but better value because he let us keep going for more than 20 rounds.. but I think we were ready to get off after 5 rounds 😂

Can you Flora or Note explain the various gels and jellies and why a seemingly obsessive amount of love for many textures! Was it a way of preservation? A necessity to last without refrigeration? Being a Chef Flora, do you learn all the delicacies of -is it gelatin? What else is used. We all love desserts and I’m trying to expand my sweet tooth but I REQUIRE CHOCOLATE and COFFEE! Love coffee ice creams but no one is making them much anymore here. I’d like to expand my fruit knowledge too. Thanks for answering these questions throughout your videos, which you do automatically anyway coz you’re a LOVE! Thanks and Note-what’s wrong with fluffy?!?!🤣I get it-TEXTURES RULE! I think they use tapioca or agar-agar more than gelatin because it's cheaper and suitable for vegetarians. Jellies are so popular probably because it's easy to manipulate the colour and make food look more beautiful. Note doesn't like fluffy or crumbly textures so I get to eat all the cakes and cookies - no complaints here! Coffee ice cream is one of my favourites too ... 😍

Sorry there won't be a Songkran clip because we were in Vietnam and no one really celebrated there. We did go to a beach and played Songkran by ourselves 😂

Hey guys, I wanted to know if green, yellow and penang curry are all gluten free in thailand. I can't have any wheat , rye, barley soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce etc would any of these ingredients be in them? Thanks
Most curries are gluten-free (from our cooking class experiences) and they don't contain soy sauce but they may contain fish sauce... Many places make it to order so you can tell the restaurant not to put soy/fish sauce in it. If you just say gluten-free they may not know soy/fish sauce have gluten in it.
@Flora and Note would note be able to translate for me no fish sauce, no oyster sauce, no soy sauce and no mushroom sauce in thai for me so I can screen shot and show at restaurants when I go please. Thanks so much

How far is the night market from Sukhumvit and roughly how much by Grab?
its about 30-45 mins depends on the traffic and about 350-450 bath by Grab.
We thinks it expensive but for you its like penny (im thai)
