I really love the plot for the first half of the game. having the justice league go missing and having them be replaced by a bunch of rip offs that the villains want to get rid of just because they’re annoying is a really funny to me and creative. I am by no means an extreme DC fan or anything so I don’t really know a lot of the backstory for characters and such but for a Lego game I think the plot is great….. for the first half of the game. Once the justice league comes back and they team up with the villains and we find out Darkside was behind everything the whole time I kind of just stopped caring. I feel like there wasn’t really any reason to bring Darkside into things, and it would’ve just been a lot better if the rip off Justice league was the main villains
Yeah, I didn't talk about that because it could potentially be seen as a spoiler, but I agree. I also think Darkseid and especially Steppenwolf go down too easily for how much they were built up as these huge threats
