I played the absolute hell out of the first Lego Batman game on my PlayStation 2 when I was little and I absolutely believe if they re release sets with a better graphics would still hold up to this day
Recently bought 4 Lego games on the switch because they were all $10 or under. Played through Jurassic World and The Incredibles. So far still have Super Villains saved best for last
For me, Lego DC Supervillains will always be number 1. I still play it to this day. The idea that you can create marvel characters in a DC game. Heck, I've seen people create the classic monsters from the 1930's black and white horror movies like the invisible man, wolfman, Dracula and the like. ❤❤❤

i also feel like lego marvel 2 had poor release timing since two of the most biggest avengers movies infinity war and endgame released after lego marvel 2, i feel like with more time, it could have been amazing, with IW and endgame inspiration much like lego marvel 1 took a lot of inspiration from the first avengers movie
I’m more into the Lego Star Wars games but I think my favorite games on this list are Avengers, Beyond Gotham, DC Super Villains, and Marvel Superheroes 1 and 2 Lego Batman was one of the very first Lego games that tells a original story but it’s an old one and most Lego gamers are interested in the ones that have a different feel to it Lego Batman 2 is the one Lego game I never played so I can’t really give a honest opinion on it Lego Incredibles is fun but using the second movie first just to promote it did seems very lazy
I have Lego The Incredibles Nintendo Switch, and I have to agree with you. Don't get me wrong, I like playing the game, but I have to agree that playing for the sequel before the original movie is a bit annoying. Also, I really need to get Lego DC Supervillains.
K in my opinion, I totally disagree with this list. No offence at all, just saying my opinion. My ranking would be 8. The incredibles / 7. lego batman / 6. marvel's avengers / 5. lego batman 2 / 4. lego batman 3 beyond gotham / (3 2 and 1 would be lego marvel superheroes, lego marvel superheroes 2 and lego dc supervillains I can't decide which order I would put them in, all great in their own ways to be honest)
For me, first Batman - the fact you can play the villains in a whole different campaign is a huge plus. Almost 2 games in one. Marvel Super heroes 1 and 2/Avengers. - for me all of them are top-notch. Batman 2 - I believe it's the first Lego game that used Voice overs but the campaign itself was quite original and the open world was fresh and new at the time. DC Villains - Creating your own villains from the start is interesting. Albeit you get the same powers during the campaign, it's just fun to start out different enough if you play through the game more than once. Incredibles - Aside from the first Lego Star Wars games LotR/Hobbit Pirates etc, it's the only recent one I got 100% completion. Need to go back and 100% all of these. Lego Batman 3 - this one was off for me. The Fantastic aspect of the Open World that Batman 2 and other Lego games just felt off. The different Lantern planets just weren't enough for me.
Given how confusing the _LEGO Marvel 2_ character customizer was, I was happy not to see one in _LEGO Skywalker Saga._ I didn't like the customizers as much as I thought I would.

I put Lego Avengers over Lego Marvel 2. Avengers is based off the MCU but also the wide history of the avengers comics as well and giving spotlight to some of lesser known teams like Avengers Academy and the Young Avengers. Lego Marvel 2 was just a headache with so many many side quests, so many characters to unlock

U might hate me for this but it's between lego batman 3 or Lego marvel superheros 2 just because I love in Lego marvel superheros 2 it's free roam and how you can fly to space and the wide range of characters and in batman 3 the dlc story games and (this is controversial) but how u can switch to the different planets but the thing about both that aren't the best are the stories because I like the ideas but not the outcome
When it comes to Lego Superhero games, at some point I'd love to see one based on the Image Comics universe. I'd run around as Spawn and Invincible for most of it.
Really none of these games are terrible. They are all worth playing, especially if you can find them on sale, and despite their flaws they all have at least one good element that makes them worth playing. That being said, The first Lego Marvel game is definitely better than the first Lego Batman game!

Avengers is nowhere near the best Lego game of all time but I do think it's better than Superheroes 2. Superheroes 2 showed less of Marvel's more famous characters and tried to focus on The Guardians (Good Choice) and The inhumans which they still fit in the other games and could have been just missions and the story could have fit the Xmen and Fantastic 4. Superheroes 2 also had boring missions with a decent story but the boss battle sucks. Could have done something a bit different than the comics. Manhattan also feels like it should be connected to every LEGO Marvel game, the open world for superheroes 2 feels creative, crazy (in a good way), but is missing a lot of the charm from the previous Manhattan. It was also made durring the Voice Actor Strike thing which led to some terrible voices for characters like Spider-Man and Some actors that dont fit their character (Like Gamora).The game has fun DLC though, with the infinity war DLC and the Cloak and Dagger. I can say that having Kang is a great idea and they showed his character just fine and explained different moments. The game's Story had creative bosses and cool events (Like Carnom). Avengers on the Other hand had multiple fun Worlds Like Manhattan, Asgaurd, Barton's Farm, South Africa, Sokovia, Ironman's mansion, and the Shield base. Avengers also had some amazing Transformations and Gave Ironman the respect he deserved compared to Superheroes 2. The Transformations I will Point out are Stan Lee's, Ironman's (Mainly Superior Ironman and Mark 5), and Squirrel Girl's. The game also had fun races and Missions similar to Superheroes. It also gave us an Cool Boss Battle and Fun DLC Levels. It also is THE MCU game. Their is pretty much no other game to play through if you want to play the MCU. It also has speedsters with fun races and abilities. The game also has some weaknesses like having one of the Biggest LEGO character rosters with some of the worst characters or Not being able to look at the map and having to rely on a small radar. And Sometimes the Post game boss battles which are almost all the same.
The fantastic four were owned by fox at the time of marvel 2 but still the worst marvel game in my opinion the only good thing about it are the variety of mechanics
Definitely agree that Lego batman 3 is the worst of the 4 DC Lego games. It was the first Lego game I got when I got my ps4 6 years ago, and I have yet to complete the game still. Lego batman, the video game, and Lego batman 2, though I want remastered versions so bad.
My ranking 8- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2; This is a complete disaster, it's just bug after bug after bug, characters with a wasted true potential, lack of logic, easy puzzles, awful boss battles etc. 7- LEGO The Incredibles; A cool game, cool boss fights, and a little bit easy, but still fun 6-LEGO Marvel Super Heroes; A good game, a fun adventure, but nothing that changed my life 5- LEGO Batman 2; Batman and Superman are great together 4-LEGO Batman 3; A cool adventure, some of the hardest boss fights in the whole Traveler's Tale LEGO franchise, Braniac that gives this game bonus points etc. 3- LEGO Marvel Avengers; Polemic opinion, but I love this game, every single place i go in this game, I see life, from the graphics to the gameplay, this game is awesome, but there are 2 LEGO SH games I prefer over this 2- LEGO DC Super Villains; This game gets everything LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 could have been right, the graphics, the character creator, the story, everything, clearly a great ending to the LEGO DC Saga, I just wish we got more of Batman and Joker, I mean, that's what I was excpeting from this game 1- LEGO Batman; A MASTERPIECE, NO DISCUSSION, ALMOST EVERYONE AGREE THAT THIS GAME IS AWESOME, FROM THE LITTLE DETAILS TO THE BIG ONE, THIS GAME GETS EVERYTHING RIGHT, THE BEST HUB WORLD FROM THE WHOLE LEGO SAGA, THE BEST LEVELS, EVERYTHING Honorable Mention; Lego Ninjago; A fun adventure, did not put in the list because it was a group of heroes created by LEGO would put in 6th place, the other games are better

dc Super vilains map is too small , less things to do in the open world , no secrets , hidden characters to unlock like in lego batman 2 dc super hero. But the characters , customization and fighting movements are amazing . Anyway because of the small boring map without many activities to do and no secrets , special things to unlock, hidden things , i prefer by far batman 2 dc , actually playing marvel super heroes for the first time , gonna see if it is as good as peoples describe . I want to test star wars clone wars and skywalker to, and avenger .

@@deathpacito6220 doesn’t matter they didn’t put as much detail into the levels in lmsh2 as lmsh1 or avengers because they are so forgettable and in one level it was only puzzles for the whole entire level and no goons to beat up. Avengers and lmsh1 don’t have that. They put effort into the characters too. There are so many filler characters in lmsh2 and only a few in lmsh1. It’s not nostalgia it’s actually the effort they put into the games and the character rosters
I wish there was a Mature rated Lego game with blood, gore, bad words, racial slurs, sex scenes and nudity. Finaly a grown up game for a grown up like myself

I got it yesterday, and I absolutely LOVE IT. $13 for the Deluxe Edition is an absolute steal for me. Been playing it non-stop.

Lego Marvel and DC The Video Game is the best
Avengers is nowhere near the best Lego game of all time but I do think it's better than Superheroes 2. Superheroes 2 showed less of Marvel's more famous characters and tried to focus on The Guardians (Good Choice) and The inhumans which they still fit in the other games and could have been just missions and the story could have fit the Xmen and Fantastic 4. Superheroes 2 also had boring missions with a decent story but the boss battle sucks. Could have done something a bit different than the comics. Manhattan also feels like it should be connected to every LEGO Marvel game, the open world for superheroes 2 feels creative, crazy (in a good way), but is missing a lot of the charm from the previous Manhattan. It was also made durring the Voice Actor Strike thing which led to some terrible voices for characters like Spider-Man and Some actors that dont fit their character (Like Gamora).The game has fun DLC though, with the infinity war DLC and the Cloak and Dagger. I can say that having Kang is a great idea and they showed his character just fine and explained different moments. The game's Story had creative bosses and cool events (Like Carnom).
Avengers on the Other hand had multiple fun Worlds Like Manhattan, Asgaurd, Barton's Farm, South Africa, Sokovia, Ironman's mansion, and the Shield base. Avengers also had some amazing Transformations and Gave Ironman the respect he deserved compared to Superheroes 2. The Transformations I will Point out are Stan Lee's, Ironman's (Mainly Superior Ironman and Mark 5), and Squirrel Girl's. The game also had fun races and Missions similar to Superheroes. It also gave us an Cool Boss Battle and Fun DLC Levels. It also is THE MCU game. Their is pretty much no other game to play through if you want to play the MCU. It also has speedsters with fun races and abilities. The game also has some weaknesses like having one of the Biggest LEGO character rosters with some of the worst characters or Not being able to look at the map and having to rely on a small radar. And Sometimes the Post game boss battles which are almost all the same.
The fantastic four were owned by fox at the time of marvel 2 but still the worst marvel game in my opinion the only good thing about it are the variety of mechanics
Definitely agree that Lego batman 3 is the worst of the 4 DC Lego games. It was the first Lego game I got when I got my ps4 6 years ago, and I have yet to complete the game still. Lego batman, the video game, and Lego batman 2, though I want remastered versions so bad.

8- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2; This is a complete disaster, it's just bug after bug after bug, characters with a wasted true potential, lack of logic, easy puzzles, awful boss battles etc.
7- LEGO The Incredibles; A cool game, cool boss fights, and a little bit easy, but still fun
6-LEGO Marvel Super Heroes; A good game, a fun adventure, but nothing that changed my life
5- LEGO Batman 2; Batman and Superman are great together
4-LEGO Batman 3; A cool adventure, some of the hardest boss fights in the whole Traveler's Tale LEGO franchise, Braniac that gives this game bonus points etc.
3- LEGO Marvel Avengers; Polemic opinion, but I love this game, every single place i go in this game, I see life, from the graphics to the gameplay, this game is awesome, but there are 2 LEGO SH games I prefer over this
2- LEGO DC Super Villains; This game gets everything LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 could have been right, the graphics, the character creator, the story, everything, clearly a great ending to the LEGO DC Saga, I just wish we got more of Batman and Joker, I mean, that's what I was excpeting from this game
1- LEGO Batman; A MASTERPIECE, NO DISCUSSION, ALMOST EVERYONE AGREE THAT THIS GAME IS AWESOME, FROM THE LITTLE DETAILS TO THE BIG ONE, THIS GAME GETS EVERYTHING RIGHT, THE BEST HUB WORLD FROM THE WHOLE LEGO SAGA, THE BEST LEVELS, EVERYTHING
Honorable Mention; Lego Ninjago; A fun adventure, did not put in the list because it was a group of heroes created by LEGO would put in 6th place, the other games are better

dc Super vilains map is too small , less things to do in the open world , no secrets , hidden characters to unlock like in lego batman 2 dc super hero. But the characters , customization and fighting movements are amazing . Anyway because of the small boring map without many activities to do and no secrets , special things to unlock, hidden things , i prefer by far batman 2 dc , actually playing marvel super heroes for the first time , gonna see if it is as good as peoples describe .

@@deathpacito6220 doesn’t matter they didn’t put as much detail into the levels in lmsh2 as lmsh1 or avengers because they are so forgettable and in one level it was only puzzles for the whole entire level and no goons to beat up. Avengers and lmsh1 don’t have that. They put effort into the characters too. There are so many filler characters in lmsh2 and only a few in lmsh1. It’s not nostalgia it’s actually the effort they put into the games and the character rosters
