I have friends and family who are doctors and nurses and they tell me horror stories so I already know I need to avoid hospital, surgery, preventable illnesses and medication as much as possible. I live in London and I was sitting in the pub and I met a South African Pathologist and he said every day he sees what medications do to the insides of people that he does autopsies on. Knowing that they have to give you high doses of pain medication too, It's not for me because I have an addictive personality and would surely become addiction to pain meds.

In the US you must do your homework and research before any surgery especially plastic surgery. You don't know what can happen to you in a foreign country and you have no protection or advocate if things go wrong. Everybody is entitled to love themselves in the skin they're in but I wish this wasn't always the go to. We all have things we would love to change but when is it enough cause you're enough. ❤

First, I truly know how you feel, 3⃣ weeks ago, I walked in from Dialysis, just to find out, my central air conditioning wasn't working, they wanted 15 thousands for a new system! Last week,my outside sewer got stopped up,well, yesterday, my water feels cool, I call someone to look at it, I need a new water heater, almost $120p! I Pray and try so hard not to complain, because I am blessed 👍🏼🙏🏽 but it has been hard! I wish you a speedy recovery Crystal, I just had a 6 hour back surgery a week ago and any kind of surgery can take a toll on us. My first back surgery was 24 years ago, now I'm 62 and had bone on bone disc. Please be very careful with your recovery. We all know you are a workaholic💖😍🤗🙏. I am definitely taking it easy.

When you refer to your surgery in the USA, you are actually referring to your experience in the state of "Florida." You can't say what the USA does because every state has different health laws applying what doctors are allowed to do. Also because the USA is a suing country, doctors Medical Insurance is a requirement and very expensive. This could be one of the reasons for the high costs charged to patients. In addition your surgery was elective. If it was covered under personal medical insurance it would always have more requirements for pre and post op. Work out 👀with ALL that being said you can’t make that worth it and the SAD thing about that if you don’t start working out or eating correct you’ll need some more work in two years …it’s not permanent it’s temporary it’s a temporary option NOT THE SOLUTION…if you don’t do the maintenance…I would have hire a personal trainer at the gym and …a chef because those things are a MUST I know TRUST ….GOD BLESS ….

I was scared for you. Glad you are safe and recovering. I don't have children but I have the body of a perimenopausal woman. I have not always struggled with my weight so I can't really resonate with the excess skin and weight. If I really, really need it, my doctor will have to tell me and I'm staying in my own countries ( Barbados and UK) to have it done. So that if anything goes wrong, my family or I can sue! Can't sue in a foreign jurisdiction. I hope you have life insurance for your babies if anything goes wrong. My uncles had life insurance for my cousins although my cousins were 16 and over when my uncles passed away suddenly. Black women are often mistreated by the medical profession all over the world. I have friends who are doctors and my mother is a retired nurse..They have told me some horror stories in black-majority and white-majority countries. You are not the only TH-camr that I follow who had an overseas procedure but the other lady her husband went with her and monitored her for 4 weeks. I suppose with your 3 kids, your husband might not have been able to take time off. Speedy recovery.
Listen that’s your experience I have had 3 family members and 2 friends that had this surgery and they had wonderful experience because they went to very reputable doctors. They didn’t just go anywhere, but I don’t understand why people keep going to foreign places. Why would you stay at a place that there’s no light in the closet shower hose doesn’t work and you don’t say anything you like stuff like that that you paid for went to that fine country and trust me they’re not that good as you are claiming that they are it was good for you, you settled for that like I said I have three family members and two friends had that same surgery in the United States and it was wonderful because they went to reputable doctors and it was wonderful and stay at the recovery place was excellent because they made sure that it was that’s ridiculous to do all of that exercise can fix stop trusting people do do on you what you can do for yourself and I told them that too.
