This movie didn't "save Marvel" because no single movie can save an entire cinematic universe but this movie showed what Marvel should be about, fun. They've gone too far off the reservation in recent years and they need to come back down to Earth, and just produce fun movies again. Years of fun movie after fun movie will save the MCU, the same way years of fun movies built the MCU.
I promised myself I would never step into a theater ever again, now I must go back on that promise 😔 damn you deadPool... 🚗 🍿 ⚔️

My only complaint was the needless break-up of Wade and Vanessa. It didn't add anything to the plot and undermined DP2 a fair bit. And it's handwaved away. It seems it was only done to have Wade live with Blind Al. Apart from that, it was a really good and enjoyable film.
Not a spoiler, as it has no bearing on the plot whatsoever :/
The last thing I'd use to describe this movie is "soulless Disney corporate..." because thats the Marvels, this is the least Disney movie and the least corporate movie ever made. This movie is counter culture in every way too and its full of soul due to all of the pathos in the principle characters, Deadpool, Wolverine and Cassandra Nova.
Agree. And it wasn't attached to the Disney + show like the Secret Invasion, which I did watch, which influenced me to avoid the Marvels in the cinema. At least I enjoyed this movie without attached to the previous MCU Disney + shows (2020 to 2023).
I have a family emergency so I won’t be able to see till August 9. Gonna do my best to avoid spoilers till then but glad you guys saw and enjoyed it: seeing it later will be more satisfying

Slight Agree. This movie is fun and I enjoyed it than my first viewing in cinema but it have some issue but I'm happy that DP's world is safe and self comfortable of being self-centred if they want to put some mature content with compelling story and be different in future movies in the R rated content, and it's separate from their MCU - Earth 616 world with their PG/PG12 (PG13).
