    Make sure that when you are filming you DO NOT overlap your footage! That will be covered in the more advanced tutorial!

    THIS CHANNEL IS SO UNDERRATED, HOW DOES IT ONLY HAVE 18K SUBS?!

    That tip about timing them up in the edit page by turning down the blend is such a genius idea

    Other youtubers would have take 20 to 30 minutes for this... 🤣🤣 You're just a awesome man. ❤️

    Note to self:
    - @3:12 So the video on top goes into the upper node (foreground which is also on top) because it takes is displayed over the bottom image

    Wow! I didn’t realize how easy it was to do this! Thanks for showing me how to do this!

    Thank you for this video. I not only was able to add myself, but I was also able to add an object. The left side had me drop an item off on a table so both of me were in the same video but at the end of this fusion clip, it was just me on the right with the object on the left side. I learned the importance of razoring clips so only what you need is in the fusion clips. Turned out well and I couldn't have done it without your video. Thank you

    Thanks for yet another amazing tutorial !!! Especially that bit with softening the edge, for my project ( I was filming outside) lighting had changed slightly so I applied colour corrector node (reduced gain a bit) all looks great !!!

      @ThatModernDude  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Glad the tutorial helped! The colour corrector node will always help even more like you said!

    This way makes a lot more sense! I was pretty much trying to do all this in the inspector and i would have a long ugly line every single time. Thanks for this Tutorial!

    I know this is an old video but I'm commenting anyway. THANKS for making it! Just what I was looking for. I have been "cropping" the top video layer to reveal the bottom (showing the clone) but your method makes much more sense. (more options and better rendering etc) Cheers from Canada!

    definitly underrated channel this.
    I know why i hesitated to click on this (glad i did but still)
    the thumbnail looked a bit too shadowy to be appealing. might be something to work on, everything else was awesome!

      @ThatModernDude  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the feedback!! And the kind comments! Thumbnails are my weakness for sure, among others

    • @sawer
      @sawer 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThatModernDude Dont worry about it! I have made a lot worse xD
      Oh, something else about thumbnails that I just now notice. When its shrunk down to normal thumbnail size its pretty much impossible to read the text. (Also something I struggle with :p)
      Have a good day:)

    Thanks for this. The only thing I couldn't figure out was how to zoom in while in the media 2 box to check my work. I know it's probably something obvious (which is why you didn't mention how to do it), but I couldn't figure that out. Brilliant video and very helpful!

    Idk this tutorial looks a lot more harder and more advanced than other tutorials. Just over lap the footage and move the crop left or right and soft edges. No need to go to fushion tab.

    hi! i have a question regarding your video on how to cut to music. I did everything like you explained with the adjustment layers and stuff, but I did it with my headphones and now the cuts are at the right place when I listen to it with headphones, but when I watch it without headphones, just with my MacBook speakers, the cuts don't match the beats. do you know why that is and/ or how to fix it?

    • @ThatModernDude
      @ThatModernDude  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would render the video and then check the results

      NVM. I simply put a cut right where the glitch was and it went away

    That's... a bit unnecessarily complex, but ok. I used Vegas for a long time and there you can do this with, like, five clicks. But anyway, thanks.
