Got ADHD? Do you set alarms and notifications to remind you of things to do? Do you find that you often ignore them? Is it because you're lazy? Overwhelmed? In this video, ADHD coach Jeff Copper (digcoaching.com) shares some simple concepts from his new ADHD intervention called Cognitive Ergonomics From the Inside Out™. He explains the executive function challenges and the legitimate reasons you're not activating on your alarms and notifications. The key is really to understand that, if the obvious solution isn't working, chances are you're paying attention to the wrong thing. In this video, Jeff outlines the real problem to give you an idea of what to pay attention to in moving forward. If you struggle, and if this speaks to you, watch the video.

This makes sense to me! I'm not a multitasker - I'm an all over the place and go with my/the flow. The best tool (for me) is "don't think about it, just start doing it". This way I don't get overwhelmed & actually get stuff done. It doesn't always work, but it certainly works a lot more often then not.

I've actually gotten to where I can use notifications to my advantage, I notice it then plant it in my memory to get it done after I've completed the current task.
Thanks as always for these vids.
