I've heard of a lot of these beers and have seen TV commercials
for most of them especially here in Oklahoma, my dad, uncles
and others have drank these beers at one time or another during
the 70's and 80's, thanks for the memories.📺🍺🇺🇲

Watney's, Herman Joseph's, Lowenbrau Dark - were three of my favorites - apparently gone forever.

Lucky Lager. It used to have little puzzles inside the bottle caps. Good times...

I had a beer can collection when I was in middle school (now 58). I recognized all of these brands, I had all of them in my collection except for Pearl (I live in San Antonio so I know about the brand). Wish I still had the Old Frothingschloss beer cans with Martha on them.

x 5:52 In the song "A Change Will Do You Good" by Sheryl Crow, she makes a reference to Falstaff beer.
x 30:33 We used to have Rolling Rock every once in a while in college at Doane University.

Sheryl Crow made reference to Budweiser in her song “All I Want To Do Is Have Some Fun.”

Is Dos Equus beer still available? To the most interesting man on earth? 😅

Maybe too many people simply poured the beer and looked at it instead of drinking it.

How do you talk about PBR but show Falstaff ? 😮

Dixie Beer was my favorite, brewed in New Orleans. Sadly, Ain't Dere No More!

You forgot Rheingold and Falstaff. Schmidt's is still available and Rolling Rock is available everywhere.

My beer is Rheingold the dry beer
think of Rhinegold whenever you buy beer
    it's not bitter, not sweet
    extra dry flavor treat
    won't you try Rhinegold beer
I remember this from TV commercials when I was a child.

I have home video of me drinking my dad’s Stroh’s beer when I was a baby. I was born in Detroit.. not surprised Detroit and Stroh’s went extinct..

I understand that Billy Carter really didn’t like Billy Beer.

It was an advertising gimmick. He was an alcoholic and capitalized on his brother's fame. Jimmy did all he could to persuade him to stop the adds as it gave him a bad name.

The 1970's was NOT the golden age of American beer. There were only a few dozen beers, most of which were nearly identical and none of which were that good.
