Looked at the MOT history for this car, it's pretty decent. Had an MOT with no advisories this year. Failed in late 2021 but the fail issue was obviously rectified. Had 3 clean MOTs between 2018-2020 with no advisories. Some minor fails in there (2013, 2016, 2017) but all the issues were fixed.
Although cosmetically this car looks like it's done 95k miles, It's been well looked after mechanically. Will make a good little run around for someone and likely has a few years left in it.
    Good car.

If you think that thing is quirky, I used to have a Shitroen GSA Palas back in the late 80's, it was like a spaceship with three levels of suspension settings. It was well before its time. Had a similar steering wheel set up.

In Italy the average price for the same car, 150k km, year 2010, is above 4000 euro...Additionally, you would soen 600 euros for orooerty change tax and other 600 euros oer year for assurance. Prices of used cars are very low in UK

600 euros for the property change?! Are you for real or was that a miss print? That sounds insane I've bought entire functional cars for less than that. LOL 😂 😂
To the other comment. In fact I'm Portuguese but have been out of the country for more than a decade. So my information is rather outdated.

I can't see how you can limit the speed, bit strange if it's 32 mph, maybe in limp mode sorry if I got it wrong (?) had loads of these and there a bit troublesome, I tend to out them cheap as is tbh, bought a 58 plate for 450 sold it for 795,12 plate big miles for a grand, took 1800, all was OK until steering lock wouldn't come off, fairly popular tho, but chances of everything been OK are very slim, engine shouldn't be noisy at all, your buying the wrong stuff for cheapies with that tbh, turbos, dpf, elloys fluid, to mention a few problems,

Oil, oil, oil. I don't know how many I have seen go under all for the same reason... It's honestly a pity because these 1.6 HDI, the 2.0HDI also, can do a awful lot of km's before tuning their soul to the scrap heaven. >500k is rather easy to achieve. ;-)
Tip: When getting an older car. Always do a couple of short range oil flush. Filters, etc. Bare minimum two close oil changes.
It can be with cheaper oil. The intention is to "wash" the thing.
It might sound excessive to some. But that's one of the reasons why the 1.6HDI has been one of my, flawless, favorite engines, since 2004! ;-)

    A French jellybean.
I think camming thru the passenger side door would be better (other than the insane climate control location in this case).
"Hey, before Joe goes thru the new car, make sure you crank the oil cap closed with the big mole grips." Never, EVER came across an oil cap not easily unscrew-able. Bonkers.
"So is the design weird enough to start building, Pierre?"
"Oh, mon frere; not even close. I have steering wheel feelings."

    • @CensorshipGenesis
      @CensorshipGenesis 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

"oil cap not easily unscrew-able..." Same for the oil deep stick!
Tip: That's an immediate and screaming RED Flag. Meaning the previous owner seldom use those items. And as such the inner core of that engine is almost sure in need of attention. At minimum a flush. ;-)
I've come across a few of those myself. The latest a Ford Connect where the oil deep stick obliged a lot of wiggling, silicone spray and pliers! Until it came off. Yep, hard to believe. Probably haven't been touched for many years. To the point that the oil pipe, where the deep stick fit, was rusted! LOL 😂 😂
