      Man how beautiful or the Zastava m70s they really don’t get the love they should to me they are the highest quality import AK platform … the finish on them is just so beautiful and slick. You want it to shoot as smooth as a milled receiver just add a pound and a half of weight to it haha. Heavy guns shoot better I’ve been looking into building a gun on a krebs receiver pretty much same price as a arsenal can build a amazing AK platform.

    My favorite recent ak purchase was my Arsenal slr107ur. My local gun store had them on sale for $1400. Not sure why they are having such a hard time selling them. They’ve been at this guys shop since the lock downs. I’ve watched vskas and local parts kit builds sell like hot cakes for a couple hundred bucks cheaper. In my opinion the Arsenal is worth the extra couple hundred bucks.

      My first A/K Variant purchase was the ZPAP / M-70 and in just 3 months put just under a 1000 rds.through it so far without a single issue ! I did install a adjustable gas system as it was over gased and I was slinging steel cases 20' onto other shooters at the outdoor range and most of them already dislike A/K's anyway , but 30 casings raining down on them was just to much , now it's down to 5' and I haven't had a single failure to feed after I dialed it in , really happy after adding the side mount and optics !

Amazing quality for chrome lined bores. Saw some old M10-762s from ranges 8 years old w countless rounds fired and gas block port solid carbon. The -19 ser#s are even better. Metallurgy is superb. In addition like this is not good enough joke, P .A . Is using Archer logo and circle 11 logo which used to be property of FB Radom until the year of 2000. Everybody please be cautious and aware of that. If anything have Archer logo and circle 11 and is dated after 2000 it's complete, absolute, ultimate garbage on steroids. Hence why i said FCGs can vary and be swapped out. So judging one on that is a bit pointless. Different variants come with different units. Just look at the Beryls. 7.62x39 has the OEM FCG, while the 5.56 has a US made group.

    • @davidfrye7713
      @davidfrye7713 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@misha5670 You forgot to mention that Atlantic Firearms and AOA also include the original FCG when they ship the 5.56 version so the new owner can swap it out if desired. I was not commenting regarding judging one of the rifles on which FCG group is included. I was correcting your misinformation. Per Shawn at AF the WBP Fox Classic with Polish laminate furniture does come with the original Polish FCG. You have mentioned in at least two videos regarding the Gen 2 Foxes that they come with US FCG. This is incorrect and to a lot of us it is important information.

    I just took delivery of my first Wasr and I'm quite pleased with it. It's a new 21 production paratrooper side folder model. I have 4 different magazines, US Palm, Serbian Scout, South Korean Kci, and a Bulgarian. Only the Bulgarian has any wobble and it is minor. The rest are very tight. The whole gun is very tight with uniform finish. The wood looks bland unfortunately and will go.
    I've never owned an AK, but I have owned a Russian Sks since 94 or 95 that was straight out of the Cosmoline. Both of my friends bought Aks back in the 2000s after deployments. 1 bought a Wasr and the other may have been a wasr or another Eastetn Bloc manufacture, but both guns looked and felt like used surplus guns.
    This newer production is quite an improvement.

    One of the things I've never been able to get a straight answer on about the rear trunnions is whether it's milled from a piece of billet stock & heat treated or if it's cast. From all the ones I've looked at they appear to be milled from billet rather than just straight up cast. Which being milled from a block of billet steel is still not quite as strong as forged, but it's a way lot stronger than cast.

    • @Kalashnikingz47
      @Kalashnikingz47 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You mean the bolt tail??? Don't worry about that. You can file the hammer to a round shape if it makes you feel better, but that thing will deform to a point and stop. It's only purpose is to keep the gun from firing out of battery.

    • @Enjoyer.762
      @Enjoyer.762 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kalashnikingz47 I know what the purpose is. Which is precisely why you do not want excessive peening damage. The root cause is more than the hammer geometry profile. It's also an issue with Rockwell surface hardness differences between the rear of the bolt carrier and typical US made hammers in US made fire control groups.

    • @Enjoyer.762
      @Enjoyer.762 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Same goes for the OEM hammers from WBP and FB.....Really, any factory made part will be fine. Its the USA made stuff that has some potential to ding up the tail a bit. That said, most of the time, its only cosmetic. It takes a lottttt of dinging to mishape it to the point of causing functional issues.

      He did an excellent video on the KR 103. It convince me to switch from my Galil 2nd Gen to a straight stock KR103.
      The main reason for my switch was value. Sorry, for my use
      ( deer hunting, range gun, SHTF and Home Defense) the Galil was way out of my price range. I know this is picky but a cardboard box and no sights was disappointing of the Galil.
      Additionally, I wanted something that parts would be available in any situation.
      Finally, I saved over $800.00. This came in handy, as I just got a $1800.00 unexpected medical bill. The reality of choosing a Firearm, sometimes involves things not in our control.
      I was doubtful of the Galil's value but my medical boll sealed the deal for me. I had one more payment on my layaway and decided to go with the KR103 priced at $1130.00. Compared to $1900 plus for the Galil.
      Had I had unlimited funds, I still would have been unenthused about obtaining the Galil for that money ( see above reasons).
