Square cuts for windows create a stress and cracking point. Rounded spreads the stress from compression and twisting over a larger area reducing the likelihood of cracking.
I love putting the kids room at the front of the unit. Feels like a safe place for the kids to sleep. I think Coachman did that, but I haven’t seen anyone else do it until today.
The Jurgy’s did a great job of renovation to their toy hauler. Great bedroom for the kids. Thank them for the tour for me and thank you as well for having them show their home. Have a great week and safe travels.
The idea of buying a brand new RV and then ripping it apart is terrifying! But they did a great job. It looks so much better. The RV manufacturers really need to bring in some of these people.
Well I can't say you'll ever tour my revovated RV because after 6 apartments and 2 duplexes I'm done renovating, but it is interesting to see what other folks have done. Keep the good stuff coming and give the kids a hug for me.
Rounded window frames can be made from 1 piece of Chanel and are therefore quicker and easier to make. Glass can be waterjet cut to any shape. Also round cuts are less likely to break when vibrated.
The reason for rounded windows in RVs is that they can handle the stress of the flexing of the frame going down the road without popping corners lose or cracking. That's why windshields on cars have rounded edges and port holes on ships are round.
One piece window frames leak less compared to four-piece jointed frames. The rounded cut-outs in fiberglass walls also reduce stress risers that a sharp corner can causes. This helps prevent cracks from starting in the fiberglass.
One of the best "pro vs con" aspects of toy haulers is their flexibility to be modified to fit the individual needs/wants of the owners. It's why, when it comes time for me to put my $$ into an RV, I'll likely be purchasing a toy hauler.
We have been so looking forward to this video after being there back in 7/30 - 8/18. Bruce teased us and said you were coming to The Park at Swan Valley…well after we were leaving. We love that place! Was hoping to see a little about the RV park but who knows, maybe on another video. Hint hint wink wink Pete & Lisa
Nathan, the reason for the round corners on all openings in a rv , is because when you cut a square corner the fiberglass or aluminum will always CRACK from the corner. The pointy edge flexes when moving and makes a failure point. Airplanes are the same thing, you will not find a square door. Country Coach tried square windows in 2008 and 09 , all the coaches over 20,000 miles have cracks in the skin radiating from the corner. Aircraft were the first to discover that a round corner was 500% stronger than a square corner. CHEERS AND AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h.
I can't believe I never found their channel, thanks for sharing! After subscribing and watching their own tour I found out it's Evergreen Fog. I'm so glad you guys continue with your content and keep your channel going well after the pandemic! Keep it up guys!

Y’all should go into business designing and redesigning motor homes and rvs. You know so much about redoing , you could make a fortune!! 😀😀😀😀

Amazing
That's a nice trailer
It’s beautiful 🤩
What towels do you recommend for an RV?
We love Turkish towels!
Please share the color of the cabinets if you can!
...the green in the childrens room!
We don't have that information but maybe you can ask them or find out in one of their videos. th-cam.com/users/thejurgys

@@erzio631 Awesome, glad you got the answer 😀
Was the hot tub not filled completely because of the weight restrictions on the deck?
No because there is usually more than one person in the tub 😀
A toy hauler opens ideas. Wow!
Yes they do for sure.
Have u ever been to tennessee
We were both born in Tennessee 😀
While I like the open shelves, the rig still needs to travel. Hmmm..
We have open shelves and they are not an issue for us 😀
: )
