That’s because it’s a $2 Million RV. They are nice. But are they with it? A very nice one will run you between $200,000 and $400,000. Anything less than $200,000 look a bit dated.
My wife and I have only been camping a couple years now, 7 or 8 times a season. I did not know there were these kind of RV sites that could be purchased. But after watching this video, similar videos have been popping up in my feed. A permanent RV site is actually a great idea and potential money maker. You put a lot of work into your site, I don't blame you for not wanting to rent it out. And from what I've seen now on other videos, very few look as good as your site. My wife and I have a house on 13 acres. We own a nice fifth wheel. I'd love to have this kind of set-up in our back yard where we could park our camper when not in use. Even without a camper/RV, it would be a nice addition to a back yard. You have a very nice site and great creativity with the upgrades. Congrats.
We thought about doing the same. We both liked the idea of buying 10+ acres and building our own place, no rules, no HOA, etc. Our issue was just timing. We only plan to stay on this lot 4 months a year and we didn’t want to spend our entire time under construction. I do love the idea of having privacy! Thanks for the positive feedback! ❤️
I believe what you have is a pavilion. Pergolas have slated roofs whereas pavilions and gazebos have solid roofs. A gazebo typically has a floor attached to it and pavilion’s are free standing. Your site is beautiful and I’m really enjoying your channel!
New sub here. GREAT infotainment site. I LOVE it! I'm still in the dreaming stage of prayerfully one day owning a RV. But I will never lose faith in my hope. Thanks, guys. Blessins...
I don't blame you. Your lot is beautiful. The perfect mix of inside / outside. It looks like a dream lot. And the color you ended up with for the bungalow is perfect!
Wondering if you could remove some of your pavers so there is a recessed run for the sewer drain to sit in. You could cover it with a grate or something else. Maybe build a low storage /camouflage cupboard for the electrics and your nice bikes. I would try to clear off your outdoor kitchen counters as well so the view is maximized. If you removed the seldom used “drink station” you could put in shelves to store the air fryer when not in use. You could get a smaller microwave for an under counter spot. Use the unused warmer drawer for dishes, pots, ? Linens. It’s a fabulous setting and you have it decorated beautifully! Very relaxing ❤
Love the lot you guys did amazing. Was thinking about your sewer and powerlines. You could lower the sewer line hook up for Flow and run everything in a graded trench.
This is truly a dream for my husband & I once we get older.. what an incredible & beautiful spot!! I would absolutely love that lot & be so happy to just be able to travel whenever still!! Incredible guys it looks so beautiful!
For the sewer hose/electrical cord issue, two solutions: (1) extend the sewer line under the pavers to the other side of the RV or slightly under the RV. Same with an empty oversized electrical conduit. (2) Install a grated (drive over) trench drain across the paver area. Your sewer hose and electrical cord lay in the trench. The sewer cap would need to be lowered. I like option 1 because it's much more discreet and material cost is significantly less. Since you're a paver expert, this might be a DIY job for you. If your existing sewer line is very shallow, neither option will work.
Here's a suggestion for your sewer hose, maybe make it a pvc pipe connected to the sewer to the underside if your rv, then when you pull in your slinky gets connected to the pvc, and the rv, when you leave no need to take the long slinky, just the attachment that's underside of the rv.
Congrats on the channel and the lot. One of the things you’ll learn that’s important to viewers is transparency and sharing the cost of the space is something people will want to know
Wow, that is some property and the improvements are out of this world. Really cool and such great detailed tour. Obviously money wasn’t the biggest consideration, you did a great job selecting and expanding your living spaces. Congrats!
I’m very jealous, we have nothing like this in the U.K. and the roads system aren’t built for the size of your RV, what a lovely life you guys have, would you adopt me please, I’m fully house trained 😂
Hey here's an idea for the sewer pipe, electric and water why not have it buried, and in a compartment just where the rv outlet is, lift a door and presto all your stuff is right there, hidden out of site. You're welcome.
We'll plan to head south for the winter. We like to travel in southern Cali / Arizona and the gulf coast when it's cold up north 😍 Nice thing about an RV lot this this is that it's low maintenance in the off season. We'll winterize it and button up before we leave, but not much to worry about while we're gone.
That outdoor living space was at least $100k. High end brand appliances like that are $$$$$. It looks lovely. Just need a ceramic cooker so you can do some live fire grilling as well. The winterizing of the lot would be an interesting topic.
Thank you! The kitchen and the scenery were the 2 main reasons we fell in love with this spot. It's so peaceful here and an amazing kitchen setup for cooking!
Love this set-up. What’s the point of buying an RV to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, only to end up crammed into a tiny RV slot. My only concern would be that amazing outdoor kitchen. How to you secure it against intruders. It looks like anybody can just come up off the road and bake themselves a pizza. Maybe you turn off the gas? There’s some hidden locking system?
It’s a gated community. Plus we have security cameras that we installed. When we leave for the winter, we’ll winterize it all so no water or gas and everything will get covered
The outdoor TV makes it nice so that we can really hang outside most of the day/night. And yes, a pull in was a must for us. We love the privacy and the view!
The lot is amazing, it is huge! The bungalow is suoer cute. The one you have in Palm Springs is the size of a house. I love how they are so very different. I think I prefer this lot because it is so lush and private feeling.
Whirly gigs! How nice the office is just steps away but so private at the same time. You two did a great job redecorating your site. So nice you both have the insight and skill to save some big bucks! This spot is absolutely perfect for the privacy it provides. Congrats on finding your paradise right here in Michigan! I'm guessing up north is top of the lower and not over the bridge, wink! My favorite part is the landscaping, love the outdoors! Say, do you have birds singing while you are outside? Love my birdies! Thanks for sharing, great video!
I am trying to catch up on your videos which I enjoy watching. This lot is gorgeous and I can see the attraction to staying put in one place for a while when it looks like this. My husband and I travel part time in our 2020 Tiffin Phaeton towing a Chevy Equinox. We travel with our 2 basset hounds and a cat. Maybe our paths will cross someday. Hopefully, you are getting your health issues sorted out and it’s nothing too serious. Take care and stay safe! ❤️
I grew up in Grand Rapids, but my family is from McBain and Cadillac area. I moved to Kentucky and have been here over 35 years. This may sound odd, but I miss the large Michigan rocks. I've had one at each Ky house where we lived, except this last house. Don't have the vehicle to get one home. You have a lovely lot! Thank you for the tour. The summers are beautiful up there.
Excellent idea. I have been thinking about something like that for next spring. A secondary sewer hookup in the middle of the driveway that is flat with the pavers.
I didn't even know this was a thing! Yours is the most amazing site I've ever seen, and I have a feeling that is going to remain true no matter how many more I see. Congratulations, it's gorgeous!

Wow so amazing! So curious as to what a lot like this costs? I have seen some in florida where we live for 300k plus depending on what is on lot and views. This is def. The BEST I have ever seen by far!
This is stunning. I doubt we could buy anything like that here in Ohio. They hardly even allow tiny houses. You are very fortunate. Thank you for sharing.❤

Veey nice lot n surroundings, lots of facilities in the area.but at wat cost? The lot will be around $800k above n monthly maintenance fees around $200 above
Instead of building a step over the grey pipe could you inlay in in the ground? Youd have to pull up the pavers but you have a flat walking area with just a grate...may not be possible with a gravity fed pipe but a thought
After seeing this site, I'm not asking why'd you decide to buy it, my question is, "What took you so long?" LOL, this is the first of your videos that I've seen and this site is beyond gorgeous. Just beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing and congrats to you! I can't think of anything else you could possibly want (except a pool - I'm a swimmer - ha!).
Hi fellow Michigander! The name for your beautiful living space is actually called a Ramada. Some people will also call them pavilions but Ramada is the correct term. I had no idea that these places were available here in Michigan. We have an rv to travel but live in a home we built in the tip of the thumb, where we live in the woods with Lake Huron just down the street. I’m curious did you have all the pavers laid? I notice your neighbor across the street has concrete. Or did a previous owner do this? I’d also like to know if you also have to pay lot rent or is there an hoa?
@@fuelyourwander oh well I didn’t know it was round. Yes technically yes the shape would be rectangular or square on a Ramada. But if you Google a gazebo they’re all square now too. So call it whatever you want! Ha!
Is there an HOA of some sort? Do they keep up with the landscaping or do you? Do you pay monthly like a mortgage? Congratulations to you two, you seem like you really have earned it! Praying for your health issues to clear up and for wise, good doctors to help 🙏🙏
Thank you!!! All good questions, will cover some of these in the next video. But yes, there is an HOA and monthly HOA fee. The HOA covers all the landscaping in the common areas and also all the grass cutting and trimming for all lots. It doesn't cover the flower beds and such.
@fuelyourwander I was just watching the following video and around 1 minute (1:00), I think I may have spotted your lot...maybe before you did all of the amazing work.
This lot is truly amazing! The pergola or whatever that thing is called is unbelievable and i love the landscaping, the renovations to your cottage, that shower in the cottage, etc… I know it’s personal, but, can I ask approximately what that place cost you? And about how much the monthly regime fees are for owners of lots in your RV park?
This is so beautiful! Are you planning on sharing a video on what something like this cost? Even if you don't say exactly what yours cost, I'm sure you looked at other places also. I and I bet everyone world be curious! Thx so much!
That lot looks majestic. Congrats on the purchase. You might want to buy a second RV lot in AZ or south more for the Jan,Feb,March months unless you like the winter months. Or you use that time to travel around.
Good question! No bugs. We get the occasionally flying insect, but I can actually count on my fingers the number of bugs we had this year. It’s really nice. 😀
@@fuelyourwander Sure you have come across it but saw your LOT / Predecessor on a video from 2 years ago "The Most Beautiful RV Resort in America/ RVing with Andrew Steele go to 14.30 " Popcorn machine , Lime furniture ..clearly same definitely prefer your 2 tone blue to brown bungalow and agree fake deer not required "de trop...not needed" as the French would say 🤣
I'd love an RV lot but I don't want it in snow country for the winters if I decide to stay long term. However, you have a gorgeous spot. That outdoor space is incredible.
🔮 and now your RV is complete! With your outdoor life being so active and the RV door on the other side, great idea to pull in, do you have to worry about it being open (unlocked)?
I love your videos! I’m curious, you leave all your kitchen items, especially knives out, and your bikes. Aren’t you worried about things getting stolen? You’ve done a wonderful job of updating everything. Enjoy!
I would like to know can you rent your spot out when you are traveling? There are places like yours in Florida. Some are 55+ and some have terrible RV regulations (only class A and less than 10 years old) Does this place have those issues?

Hi fellow Michigander! The name for your beautiful living space is actually called a Ramada. Some people will also call them pavilions but Ramada is the correct term. I had no idea that these places were available here in Michigan. We have an rv to travel but live in a home we built in the tip of the thumb, where we live in the woods with Lake Huron just down the street.
I’m curious did you have all the pavers laid? I notice your neighbor across the street has concrete. Or did a previous owner do this? I’d also like to know if you also have to pay lot rent or is there an hoa?
Since it is rounded in shape, isn’t it a gazebo?
You guys did an amazing job. Your new home base is my dream vacation spot!
🥰🥰🥰
@fuelyourwander
I was just watching the following video and around 1 minute (1:00), I think I may have spotted your lot...maybe before you did all of the amazing work.
Hard to tell.
This lot is truly amazing! The pergola or whatever that thing is called is unbelievable and i love the landscaping, the renovations to your cottage, that shower in the cottage, etc…
I know it’s personal, but, can I ask approximately what that place cost you? And about how much the monthly regime fees are for owners of lots in your RV park?
This is incredible! I had no idea these places exist!
This is so beautiful! Are you planning on sharing a video on what something like this cost? Even if you don't say exactly what yours cost, I'm sure you looked at other places also. I and I bet everyone world be curious! Thx so much!
We will share pretty much everything, but we don't share costs or finances.
@@fuelyourwander I gotcha, either way it's a beautiful place you have!
It’s called a Pavilion 🫶 What a beautiful site, the pond and all the trees are spectacular.
That lot looks majestic. Congrats on the purchase. You might want to buy a second RV lot in AZ or south more for the Jan,Feb,March months unless you like the winter months. Or you use that time to travel around.
We may consider a southern RV lot purchase 😀
Congratulations y’all! I am happy for yall!!! ❤❤❤
Absolutely gorgeous lot and fit out...wondering if having a lake so close bugs, mosquitos are an issue at times during the year?
Good question! No bugs. We get the occasionally flying insect, but I can actually count on my fingers the number of bugs we had this year. It’s really nice. 😀
@@fuelyourwander Sure you have come across it but saw your LOT / Predecessor on a video from 2 years ago "The Most Beautiful RV Resort in America/ RVing with Andrew Steele go to 14.30 " Popcorn machine , Lime furniture ..clearly same definitely prefer your 2 tone blue to brown bungalow and agree fake deer not required "de trop...not needed" as the French would say
🤣
Lovely kinetic wind sculptures/spinners. Great tour!!!
Ah so that’s what they’re called! 😀
Beautiful. Enjoy!!
I can't wait to see how much you like the area in January
Let me guess, not as much as June? 😀
@fuelyourwander exactly! Lol, the summers are beautiful there. Safe travels...
I'd love an RV lot but I don't want it in snow country for the winters if I decide to stay long term. However, you have a gorgeous spot. That outdoor space is incredible.
Thank you!
Would like to see how you leave it when your on the road.
If you don't mind me asking, how much does a lot like this cost?
We are going to speak to that in our next video. 👍
Hillary is from Louisiana! I'm from Natchitoches! I'm always excited to see fellow Louisianans, lol!
Yes she is. She is an LSU graduate!
Love, love, love it and you guys too! Congratulations! Y’all have done such a great job! Enjoy! ❤🎉
Thank you so much!!
How do you close up everything during cold weather, or when you are traveling?
You have a beautiful place It looks very peaceful.
🔮 and now your RV is complete!
With your outdoor life being so active and the RV door on the other side, great idea to pull in, do you have to worry about it being open (unlocked)?
Thanks. The pull in works so much better for us. Not ideal, but given the shape and position of the lot, this is perfect. 😀
I love your videos! I’m curious, you leave all your kitchen items, especially knives out, and your bikes. Aren’t you worried about things getting stolen? You’ve done a wonderful job of updating everything. Enjoy!
Thank you! We don't leave anything of significant value outside.
I would like to know can you rent your spot out when you are traveling? There are places like yours in Florida. Some are 55+ and some have terrible RV regulations (only class A and less than 10 years old) Does this place have those issues?
Yes. Class A and newer than 10 years old.
How much did this lot cost?
