In some bible versions it is "teach" not "proclaim" the Kingdom of God. In the Gospel of Thomas Jesus says..."Whoever has come to understand the world has found (only) a corpse, and whoever has found a corpse is superior to the world." "It is the solitary and chosen that will find the Kingdom, for you are from it and to it you will return." In Thomas the Kingdom of God is within you; not in this world. It is a separate place. If it is within you then it is not of this tribal world. And you must seek it until you find it.
