The Rodin FZED has made its mark at Donington Park Race Circuit in the UK with the successful completion of its first run on the renowned track.
Witnessed by leading select press and VIP representatives close to the Rodin Cars brand, the sound of the roaring Cosworth V8 engine echoed across the facility and was reflected in the smiles of all who were present.
"It was a great success" says CEO and Founder of Rodin Cars, David Dicker.
The Rodin FZED was driven by Red Bull Junior Driver, FIA F2 and DTM driver, Liam Lawson. Who is also backed by Rodin Cars in the 2021 FIA F2 series.
In addition, engineering support for the supercar on the day was provided by professional formula racing team, Hitech GP.

Great to be able to follow the progress of Rodin. I've had the privilege of visiting David's track twice at Mt Lyford. He and his team are doing amazingly cool stuff there. Can't wait to see the F zero !!!!!

Is this the final and only aero package? This car looks like a 2009 F1 but they have regulations to keep them slow. It would be cool to see a more aggressive aero package with something like ground effect or something different
Our Rodin FZERO will have more a engineered and developed aero design. The Rodin FZED is designed around the earlier model F1 cars, and so adheres to that generation aesthetic. Still a very fast car!
Are you going to take it over to Silverstone this weekend the compair with f2 and f1?
We didn’t take the car over there this time.

How much does it costs to make a titanium parts

Although it is a bit more expensive to 3D print a part in titanium, the benefits of titanium to us are it’s high strength to weight ratio, high corrosion resistance and low thermal conductivity, which are benefits that outweigh the increase in cost. And also titanium is pretty lux. 😁
