David Dicker’s bid for Formula One team denied by FIA

Rodin Cars founder David Dicker discusses his passion for Formula One and his attempt to form his own team for the highly competitive sport.
Mr Dicker said he has had a “lifelong” interest in cars and has followed Formula One since the 1970’s.
He said despite the FIA rejecting his application for an 11th team, it was important to take the opportunity and “put in”.
Mr Dicker said another project he is working on is the F0 - a car designed to be quicker than an F1 vehicle.
“It’s not designed to compete against F1 as such because the F1 guys have got a raft of regulations that restrict their performance,” he told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
“Whereas the F0’s only restricted by the laws of physics.”

I had shares in Dicker Data and should have kept them. I saw the team in Adelaide at the Motorsport Festival this year.......save your money David. Not a good look and team members need training.

Never heard of “Dicker Data”, but with a name like that, I’d have probably gone to buy from another provider - not one which sounds like some kind of phallic joke. Surprising it’s so successful.

There was never any prospect of getting approved by the FIA and then there was their value proposition to F1.... im glad he didnt get approval. There's other series that he could and should focus on.

Something tells me this guy was never going to be competitive against Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari or Mclaren this story should why did guy even apply for a F1 team?
I know F1 gets a crazy at time but this next level
