Why teams were not given 5 star hotels is perplexing. The hotel shown in video I would not even visit. In Noida we have Radisson too. There was serious lack of planning and research.
Nice Script….glad you guys loved the circuit. The track guys from Spain, Uk, Singapore and India and some other parts of the world, spent 2.5 months with an average of 3 to 5 hours sleep., worked really hard to make a good and safe circuit. We also look forward to make it a better race next year.

I was there at the MotoGP event and I met Superbike Champion Max Biaggi in the Aprilia stand. I even got his autograph! The atmosphere was very energetic along with the commentators and fans cheering on from the grandstands!
Lucky you! I got him on video riding pillion on a scooter, and he barely agreed to wave despite we calling out to him. Maybe it was a different story for VIP seats.
Hi Taylor, Thank you for posting such a balanced video. I was a flag marshall for the GP and we faced quite a few challenges too but that won't stop me from volunteering again next year😅. Hopefully by next year a new international airport will start functioning which is just 30kms from BIC and also a few hotels are in works near the circuit. There are quite a few very nice hotels at Pari Chowk which is only 18 KMs from the circuit. This GP was chaotic and i'm really sorry that you were not able to experience the real Indian hospitality. Hopefully you'll come to India next time and give us another chance. Thanks to Dorna and everyone responsible for bringing MotoGp to India. Hopefully F1 returns too. Thank you again for being this understanding🙏🏼.
why don't you step up and provide names pictures and bios of Hotels for everyone to see - that might get you somewhere with Dorna - F1 aren't coming back - theres a reason for that - they wont put up with any of that
My wife and I should be in India right now but sadly she has been ill so we couldn’t go. I have been to India hundreds of times (and eaten out every day never been ill goodness knows what you got hold of at the airport ) in the last 20 years including Delhi Noida and Gurgaon (the Mosaic used to be a good hotel in Noida) many times. We got our visas on line in less than 24 hours BUT until the middle of the year U.K. citizens could not get on line visas as our govt pissed off the Indian govt so they withdrew the on line facilities for a while. Most GOOD Indian hotels are fabulous - try the Taj or Oberoi group. All the major international chains are there and are good. India is a fabulous country and the people are delightful. By the way, the Indian government banned these visa agencies ages ago so I have no idea who your Bobby was working for but they had to be iffy. Next year apply on line well before hand and get 5 years visas - then problem solved for a while.
I always liked the F1 in India and was sad when they stopped going there. Great to see MotoGP making great use of those facilities. Enjoyed watching all four races. Looking forward to many more years of racing there.
Nice Video. But to be honest, Dorna being the organiser of such a large sport, should've done a bit more research and booked/recommended teams to book hotels in Central Delhi like Taj, The Leela Palace, Hilton, ITC etc. You guys are lucky to have come out alive of Noida.
LoL, there are many 4-5 star hotels in Noida and Greater Noida and they are much closer to track as well. If you choose a random cheap priced hotel it is going to be an issue. You should know Delhi has a lot of scam hotels everywhere just like anywhere else in the world.
While obviously delhi has amazing 5 star hotels that will compete with any hotel in the world but the track is a bit far. Even noida has many better hotels than this. I've stayed at 2 different radissons and a lemon tree that are quite decent. The organizers chose a random cheap 2* hotel that probably cost under 25$ and got what they paid for.
Radisson Blu & Hotel Crowne Plaza (both 5 star hotels and located hardly around 15 - 20 kms from the circuit should have been the options. And after currency conversion from Euros to INR, these 5 stars hotels would hardly cost 100 - 150 Euros per night. Breakfast is free (mostly comes with the room package) and there is a Grand Venice mall nearby with really good food / bar options. I am surprised no local resource was consulted buddy. All the best for next time. Cheers :)
Glad to hear your side of this. I heard so many disgusting things said about India on reddit leading up to the race. To the point of being racist really. I think there's a big American contingency on reddit and they can generally be very anti anything Asian. Glad to see it wasn't all doom and gloom though. And that the visa issue wasn't because of corrupt government or whatever the conspiracy theories were. Track looked brilliant.
Thanks for making this video, a real eye opener. Beware the buffet! I've had the galloping shits from buffets in the UK, this is definitely not just an India thing. The racing was excellent, I would love the opportunity to ride that track. Already looking forward to Motogp India 2024.
Really nice of you to give an honest review taylor , being an indian and an automobile enthusiast i was very happy and proud to see such an auspicious event like moto gp happening here on my motherland , i heartily regret all your inconvinience but being a rapidly developing nation , we are reaching new milestones and achievements everyday and we're constantly learning from the same , i ultimately hope welcoming you here the next year as well !
My business is immigration law (over twenty-five years doing this for Clients up to publicly listed Companies on both sides of the Atlantic). I can’t say I am surprised that someone didn’t do their job properly but why would Dorna appoint someone who could not handle the job? If you need something done correctly in the future then feel free to get in touch. Aside from that, a fascinating insight into the background to this.
It was really an honour to have motogp here in india and we would definitely want you to come back!! The food and hotels are really great here but you will need someone to guide you which hotel to book and what indian food you should try and from which place, hopefully you will get someone next time! Or maybe i can do it too🙌 I’m really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you by my country. See you soon Taylor❤️
I am quite surprised that you stayed at hotels where even the locals wouldnt stay in...! Curious to know why you did not choose known brands like Marriott, etc.
Buddh is an amazing track, the layout just amazing, perfect combinations of high speed and low speed corner, the straight is difficult to maintain the car stabilty
You should have stayed in Greater Noida - Their is a Radisson, And also something called Jaypee Greens Hotel and Spa and also a Crowne Plaza. All of them are great properties with good rooms and good food.
Being a Indian I sincerely apologise for the experience you've had in a week. We know handling an event is not a joke, many things happen at the same time and synergy between them is paramount importance to the success of a task. Due to incompetent staff and lack of sense of complexity the event had a load of hickups. The logistics being the majority of problems coming from. We will be delving deeply into the matter for 2024 seasons and we asure that a better experience can be delivered. I personally thank you for coming to India with your sport and letting us get a breath of high adrenaline for a weekend. Thank you for sharing your side of the story publically and point out specific areas for improvement. We hope to give you the best of what India has to offer in the coming season and hope to help enjoy the weekend to the fullest without worrying where your trimmer disappeared!
Fascinating insight into your experience in India, Taylor, I really enjoyed it, I thought there was some of the most exciting races of the season. Keep up the good work 👍
India is an amazingly wonderful assault on the senses, and the racing was fantastic. I’m always surprised when I visit and Yup, the food can bite you and it can be difficult to judge where to eat to keep solid. You’ll be wiser for next year.
Great video Taylor, very insightful. I did the first 3 years with the F1 circus and yeah it's a pretty bonkers place. We got away with eating out a fair bit and I thought it was a pretty good event. We just had some good local fixers to sort things out as you definitely need someone local who knows what's going on. Biggest issue for me was the air quality really
Hey Taylor, Thanks for posting such an interesting video. I can totally understand and emphasize with your predicament whilst in India. However, please note that there are a few learnings that you should take away from this. 1. Hotels: Even in a place like London, you can find dingy hotels having rooms and sheets smelling of puke, and blankets feeling like they've never been cleaned. You know not to go to those hotels based on their reviews and some general research on the internet. The same applies for India. and even more so for Noida. You would have found terrific places to stay in Delhi (like "The Leela Palace" or "The Taj Palace" that you showed at 11:30). But I understand if you were trying to save a few bucks there on accommodation. Personally, we found a great AirBNB in Greater Noida, despite being from Maharashtra (another state a bit far away), having never been to Noida ourselves before, simply by looking at pictures and communicating with the host (in English). 2. Transportation: I'm curious about why you had to take a bus from the Airport to your Hotel, to the circuit? "Noone was allowed to hire a car". Did that mean that you weren't allowed to hire a Uber? Was this enforced on you by your Team Manager/Owner or the Organizer? Maybe you could throw some light on this. (Personally, we got an Uber straight from the Airport. Did you know that there's a dedicated Uber Zone inside the Airport?) 3. Delhi Belly: Ordering food in an Airport lounge isn't something that even we Indians usually do, unless its a cup of coffee. Instead, we make use of the many terrific restaurants and franchise food joints in the Airport itself. You've even got KFC, McDonalds, Subway, etc. As a rule of thumb, preferably eat something at a Franchise whilst at an Airport. Indians themselves don't prefer eating Indian at the airport, because we know that we can get the good quality meals at well-known restaurants near where we reside. Next time you wish to try curry while in India, please go to a famous restaurant which is not at the Airport. Hope you guys have better luck next year. Cheers!
He did say that the others were at amazing facilities so they will probably choose those the next time. Or if it's a budget issue, they now know what to avoid. They were most likely asked to take the bus instead as a safety issue because it's easier to secure a bus than each individual car. Agree that airport food isn't great. But it's best to start by just tasting Indian cuisines first and slowly building up to an entire meal to let the stomach get used to the spices. Specially with curries. Since they have to work and only get the opportunity to try it on the last day, the should imo just share a small portion of curry and complete the meal with something they're more used to. They will probably be able to have entire Indian meals on all 4 days with subsequent trips.
@@indicat2942look the point is he himself chose that hotel by looking up online. It wasn't like event mangers put them there and had no other option. So my question is why is he whiny about it so much?! And why is it being portrayed like 'the hotels in India are not great'. Well there's whole bunch of five star, four star and thousands of three star hotels in and around Delhi. You choose a wrong place that's your mistake buddy. Don't blame it on the country! Cheers! ✌️
Well taught lecture for him , he doesn't even consider that not planning his tour isn't his mistake at all but just shoving everything on disaster experiences in India lol 😂
Love your honest feedback video. A lot of gaps and learning for the organisers this time. The next event will be managed well to eliminate all these surprises. I feel terrible for your experiences this time around. Also as this circuit track was inactive for 10 years there has been no development in the past but very hopeful for new infrastructure in the coming 2 years and so as the government has prioritized it. Also for the organisers (Dorna), this is a very new kind of event I feel.
I think pre planning was the issue. Everything seemed to be done in Hurry. As an Indian even I don't stay in those hotels you booked. Things could've been much better, smooth and exciting if you had local staff and local team in the planning. I think lack of information and local knowledge caused these issues which can be avoided easily.
My brother and I have been huge MotoGP fans since childhood when Max Biaggi was at his best. We always wanted MotoGP to come to India. Now that it has, I am sorry about what everyone had to go through. Having lived in the UK for a while, I understand your perspective. Watching the type of hotels you are choosing, I guess you guys are on a budget. You can find good hotels for a cheap price too, you must get help from a local next time. India is definitely changing but not uniformly and Indian food, even if it's very hygienic and fresh, will get you as you are not used to the spices. Just have to eat more to adapt. Otherwise, there are always fast-food chains. You can also get pot noodles at a significantly cheaper price here compared to Tesco or ASDA.
@@aabidamn No, not for Visa, that agency was clearly not a good one. I was referring to hotel, and I didn't mean a random guy on the street. He may have met few people in his first visit. They can help arrange a decent hotel for cheaper price. Usually the cheapest hotels are used by people who like to hookup. People who travel with family or colleagues usually avoid such hotels.
Stay in nice hotels next time like the Oberoi in Delhi, Taj, Maurya or Leela. Noida is not a great part of the region, stay closer to New Delhi. World class hotels there like the ones I mentioned
Hey Taylor, Greater Noida (a place closer to the track than Noida) has a Radisson Blu which is amazing and has a history of catering to foreign clients, hence better suited to your needs.
I remember the track on the Codies F1 games of the time. It was one of my favourite tracks to drive, and watching the bikes go round was a flashback to being a 12 year old boy again!
Taylor, in 1988 when I was 18 years old, I traveled all over India for 6 1/2 weeks with my close friend whose family is from there. For the first 2 1/2 weeks? I didn’t really eat. No exaggeration! I was already the tallest thinnest person you had ever seen in your life. almost at my adult height of 6 foot four yet I was barely 150 pounds when I arrived in India and had lost over 25 pounds when I got home. I didn’t get sick in India until I was in New Delhi at a five star hotel and I ordered, I made the mistake of ordering a cheeseburger. And the cooks in the kitchen punished me for ordering holy cow. I survived India by eating bread with the vegetarian sauces that were available most everywhere. However! One time a bone came out of the vegetarian sauce bowl and I didn’t eat for another week! Yes Delhi belly is real.. I’m very glad you guys survived and brought the incredible racing of MotoGP to India… You are a soldier for that Carry-on!
19 *88* , developing countries change extraordinarily fast, while already developed countries can hold their personalities but it doest really apply to these growing countries eg Singapore.
Surprised that no one really organised proper hotels, food and transport for such an event!! As an Indian, that hotel I wouldn't even enter and I'm stunned that you guys were put up in such a place!! Damn.. bad planning for what could have been an amazing experience. Hope lessons learnt and always stick to 4- 5 star hotels in India 😅
Taylor when I went to riders school in Henderson Texas. At the time it was the only riders school in Texas, and there were two motels and of course I stayed in the cheapest one. I woke up in the middle of the night with leaches crawling over me. It wasn't funny then , but now I get kind of a chuckle. The same track that Colin Edwards, Doug Polen, Freddie Spencer, John Kosinski and so on went to riders school. But sorry to hear about getting sick especially on a plane. Glad your back!!
Lol, funny story. 1. Pre-plan hotels, there are sketchy hotels in every country in the world. 2. Even if you eat at the fanciest Indian hotel, you are likely to get a Delhi belly. Because curry here is filled with local spices, unlike the curry in the UK. 3. I live in Nepal, and I sometimes dare to eat outside my friend's house on my travels to Delhi. Like you said, I don't know which way to point at the toilet.
Great video! Been following Motogp for years and would really like to work there in some capacity, but it ia really interesting to hear the "other side of the story" from someone on the inside. Really like the way you present and the content presented, A+ Taylor, you have gained a new Subscriber.
Hi, i did the three F1 races there a dozen years ago. We stayed at the Fraser Suites, Mayur Vihar, Delhi. I mean outside its what you expect, cows etc, but the suites themselves were honestly one of the most luxurious rooms i stayed in at over 100 GPs, go figure! I think it was all booked either through Travel Places or LSATravel...long time ago now.
I am sorry you had to go through some issues and unfortunately meeting wrong ppl. I would love to change the persecution in any capacity I can for next year. Here are some die hard fans of MotoGP, F1 including myself and we love our country and would like others to know how good host we can be. Hope you get in touch and I can change the entire experience as this has hurt me what you all went through and still gave your best as we all witnessed a wonderful race. Cheers to all the team and riders for this. Good luck
I used to go to India numerous times every month. Always loved it. Sanitise your hands just before you eat, and never have the rice. You’ll be absolutely fine!! Another great vid.
I personally thought that it was a great track to watch everyone race on. No offense to anyone in India, but they aren't really known as a cutting edge or state of the art country and I blame Dorna for their obvious lack of planning to accomodate the lack of infrastructure.
Dorna should take the blame but they wont, theyve already moved onto pressing trousers and new belts and not studying the weather in OZ but recovery wasnt bad except for all the folks who had sunday tickets - yeah - bet they get a refund - bit of a fiasco but the right guy won the GP
Unfortunately if you know how the bcci is run for cricket, india tried the same thing with F1, i wont be surprised if they will do the same with MotoGP My advice dont bother until these old money boys have left. They have a old mind set maybe next 20 years i can see a different generation with different ideas
Hi taylor, i attended the rave, and i want to tell you that, this requires a lot of planning. We first went to a hotel, where our booking avtually didnt get confirmed due to the hotels being full. So me my dad and my cousin had to take another room on spot. But the track and facilities were outstanding and really enjoyed the racing. Was a great expirience. Cant imagine doing this as a foriegner having to take visa's and book hotels from abroad.
I think he knows perfectly well that the event (any racing event) requires a lot of planning. However, what made the race in India different to other races they've had around the world, was that the infrastructure from the host to support the MotoGP event (the hotel, transportation, visa application system, etc) wasn't there/not sufficient to host an event of this magnitude.
Not an Indian hating, but Poor choices at your end (seems to be lacking accountability) The race organisers should have given a FAQ sheet if they're not providing basic ammenities like accomodation and food. Maybe this should be added to organiser SOP. India is an economically diverse country, having products and services coming at every price range. Honetly you booked hotels that very cheap, not sure why.
Thing in India is it's heavily populated so, " survival of the fittest ". With population comes competition ,so you'll go through all streams of life. Hence having a trustworthy local or agency is a must.
Hi Taylor! First of all we are sorry for all the challenges you & everyone had to go through. Happy to know that you liked the Indian GP & facility. We hope & wish these things will be fixed next year and you'll thoroughly enjoy it next season. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us! Love from India!
As an Indian, I am sorry for the experience you had this year. We have a saying in India "Atithi Devo Bhava” meaning “Guest is God” but most people dont follow it nowdays. I feel disappointed that the organizers or even the government didn't help you guys in providing good hospitality and basic needs for food and water. I wish i was in India this year and was able to help you guys in some way probably finding good Hotels and food in Greater Noida and Delhi region plus helping you arrange proper transportation to the Track and back to hotel. It could all have been so better for you guys if the organizers or the government had given you a local individual to help with everything for each teams. Probably for next year if you guys need help ask us out, we fans can help you out a lot and make your experience next year to be pleasingly unforgettable. I was hoping the uttar pradesh or Indian government will have some special party or something planned for you guys because it was first time for Moto GP. Again regret for the experience you had this year. Hopenext year it will be awesome for all you guys. If you need any help or suggestions do let me know.
I absolutely love Indian food. I sat throughout the video to listen you about how good Indian food was, afterall we're known for our finest spiciest food. Sad that lounge food was of bad quality. Wish you'd spend some more time around the area to explore some more food options, there are a lot and I bet you'll be licking your fingers. Hopefully next year there will be less hassle so that you can explore more of our culture :) About the hotels, again, there are a lot of options, one should know their way around. What I'd suggest is to tie up with some good local agency or maybe ask people of Dorna to organize some local person for each team to manage all these things, only local person would know what's the best thing around and what's the worst. Glad that you liked our people, we love you too
Go to a good mall and eat .... nandos, macdonalds, kfc, starbucks pizza hut and even non franchise are good if they are in upmarket place ... make sure they are busy abit, thats a good sign for food rotation and freshness.
Not sure why this is even a discussion at this point. IndiaGP was the worst attendance of any race on calendar in 23. Despite a city of over 30M an hour away and the worlds #1 in sales of motorcycles and scooters, barely 100k attendance over 3 days was embarrassing to Dorna and Indian government. India paid the Dorna fees in hopes of promoting the nation and encouraging tourism. While I’ve only personally been to Mumbai, there was nothing in the broadcast that looked appealing to visit Delhi or this race. While it appears again on 24 MotoGP calendar, they’ve already named Hungary as an alternate site, which I’d be beyond shocked if that is not needed by end of year when India announces they will not be hosting a GP in 24
Noida is where all the big call centres are so there should be good business hotels there for when Western customers visit. Regarding food we did two weeks in India including motorcycling around the Himalayas and had no issues. Only eat street food you can see being made really hot. The Visa application window for India for business is 120 days so no excuse for Bobby!
Interesting insights👍 Hard to imagine that at this level there is no one in the organisation responsible for managing bureaucratic and logistical arrangements--visas, hotels, transport, etc.--for all team members. Strikes me as highly unprofessional to have people--riders, mechanics, technicians, etc.--waiting at an airport for official documentation. All of this should have been organised and settled well before the first race of the season!
To be real with you, the non-developed countries are highly in a " you get what you pay for " scenario, dont ever try to buy and spend like a local, youll not like the experience. and one of the best food advises i can give u is to get south indian breakfast food for the whole day. plain, plant-based and good for gut health.
Interesting video. Not surprised about quality of hotels, food, etc. - having been to India 3 decades ago. It's an incredible country to explore, which Moto GP teams barely get to scratch the surface of. On the other side of the coin, we live in Japan, which was the team's next destination. Here, you'll rarely find a dirty public bathroom, yet alone a stain on a bedsheet, and food is so fresh, you can eat raw fish for every meal and there's no such thing as Motegi belly! In 25 years in this country, I've never mey anybody who didn't enjoy Japan. Moto GP teams need to get out and see a lot more that race circuits, though!
Hi,unrelated to this video but how would you enter this kind of job, I love travelling and I love bikes and this way just seems the best job sector I can go into
Maybe the next time you go, book a hotel room that costs more than 20$/night. You can't expect to have a great experience while paying literally less than 20$/night in any country.
Visa & Hotel both experiences could have been smooth...I wish you received good guidance about how to do this. Our generation has to solve this big problem of everything being chaotic in our country. Hope your next visit turns out nice & memorable.
Hi Taylor, Thanks for coming to India and giving us the show. I was there as a spectator. While i cant help with the visa, can surely say that you got a really raw deal with hotels. Indian hotels provide one of the best hospitalities, provided you are at the good hotel like jaypee resorts, crowne plaza etc. I m sure you heard about it from others in the paddock. Would have been better to just ask nay Indian to guide before booking. Delhi belly is nothing but non indians not being used to the richness of butter and apices in food. At good hotels, you get options that are lighter. India is definitely not England or europe or Australia and needs good research before traveling and booking. Hope you get a better tour planner or guide to help with bookings for 2024. I m from Noida and trust me, i have travelled a few countries and there is no vetter hospitality than India, provided you book the right place and sufficiently in advance
His team was probably on a budget and considering that the event involved thousands of visa applications, there's a good chance that all the decent hotels had already been booked by the bigger teams. Moreover with all the problems that were reported surrounding the track readiness AND the state of their visa applications, they were very pessimistic that they would get the green light to go to India. All things considered, it made sense why they didn't booked the hotels early on.
Honestly it's nice to have MotoGP actually go to a circuit that's spent hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars to host the show. Sokol, Kymiring, etc, have all fallen by the wayside for some reason or other, and left with significant investments that haven't paid off. That really sheds a negative light on Dorna. The fact that they managed to get this race going and that the races were good makes me happy.
The only gap is see here is missing a good guide...being Indian and a frequent traveller of Europe ,the same concerns I had ,whether we will get vegan food, where to eat, stay, etc etc.But we invested time to look for best options, every place has some good and some bad options India has lot of options and that includes a big chunk of bad ones too and that is not just in India but in any big city of the world(atleast I can say that for Rome,Vienna,France,Prague and many more. The only suggestion when you plan pleasedo some research.Still if you think you need some local advice, you can reach out to some local there( I won't mind guiding you as Noida being my native place and yes it does not have that great options like Delhi ) but has a lot to offer . Currently I live in Poland but would be happy to share the best options to live and eat all kind of food with highest standards.
Just came across the 1993, 'First Lager Down Support Team ' photos from Donington Park, the bus load from Denny supporting your dad at the British Grand Prix...wrecked,the lot of them! 😂
Wait for the track in Ahmedabad to get ready then things will improve cause the airports are closer and the hotels near the cirsuit are also great so yeah
Hey Taylor, thanks for the lovely video. Pointed and Unbiased if i may say. We are extremely sorry for all the bad that happened with you guys. Hopefully the next year this won't be the case. India is a lovely lovely country and usually people who visit India never leave or they keep coming back for more. Please do come back to visit this amazing landmass filled to the brim with equal number of people. :-) Just post your trip on social media and you will be amazed at how many of us will jump in to show you all the marvellous places in India! see ya next year!!!
Dude...No one stays in the hotel [motel] you stayed at. Those are generally used by college kids for a couple hours for you know what or travellers changing cities. Should have gone for Savoy Suites, Jaypee Greens or one of the other premium places in Greater Noida. In general it is a good idea to have your gut microbiome up and running before eating food in India. But then you had buffet food so its shit everywhere anyway. But glad you liked the circuit. Great video though. Nice to hear the perspective of where improvements need to be done. The visa guy seems shady for sure. Dorna should be fined for it.
12:50 What hotel was this? I thought you guys would be staying in Radisson or Savoy which isn't particularly near to the circuit exactly but it still in Greater Noida!
Man I so wish to be the host/manager for the MotoGP team that didn't have a great time in India this year. I wish to help them just so they don't panic and fall into the negatives during such crucial times. All love from India 💜
It is not an abandoned circuit mate. Made by Tilke, another masterpiece! I am sure you understand what an amazing track it is! The reason F1 fell out with BIC is due to non payment of taxes! Cheers Taylor. I've been an F1 lad since 2001. :)

Hopefully you'll come to India next time and give us another chance. Thanks to Dorna and everyone responsible for bringing MotoGp to India. Hopefully F1 returns too. Thank you again for being this understanding🙏🏼.

@@tmac77hey I am Indian I can suggest a couple of good hotels
Love that info thanks so much
I always liked the F1 in India and was sad when they stopped going there. Great to see MotoGP making great use of those facilities. Enjoyed watching all four races. Looking forward to many more years of racing there.
Totally agree it’s awesome!
Nice Video. But to be honest, Dorna being the organiser of such a large sport, should've done a bit more research and booked/recommended teams to book hotels in Central Delhi like Taj, The Leela Palace, Hilton, ITC etc. You guys are lucky to have come out alive of Noida.
race track is situated outside delhi , all the 5-star hotels are quite far away from track .... for example leela palace is 50km
the arrived Noida to judge India is a bummer we ourselves dont go to noida.....its the bad part of the town if you know ...
@@pitrochied Brother chill central noida has radison. its just that BIC is in greater noida even i agree greater noida isnt the best place
12:50 you booked a Motel instead of a hotel bro 😂😂
even we indiams avoid those😅
12:30 that's my man.... Never Forget Your Roots.... 🎇🎇
The track was awesome and the conspiracy theories were wild 😂
Less than half are from America! Reddit is most popular among men between 18-29 yrs & mostly for entertainment. So, probably not the smartest bunch!🤪
West has always anti India sentiments don't know and Indian govt has much enthusiasm as other to organise motogp and there is no conspiracy

Thanks for making this video, a real eye opener. Beware the buffet! I've had the galloping shits from buffets in the UK, this is definitely not just an India thing. The racing was excellent, I would love the opportunity to ride that track. Already looking forward to Motogp India 2024.
Agreed the buffet could have been anywhere and it happen!
Thanks I really appreciate that 👌
I guess we need a better and proactive management for this kind of events.
It was really an honour to have motogp here in india and we would definitely want you to come back!!

Keep up the good work 👍

bro ...why tf did you stayed in those hotels ...where even we indians don't stay ....like come on
India is an amazingly wonderful assault on the senses, and the racing was fantastic. I’m always surprised when I visit and Yup, the food can bite you and it can be difficult to judge where to eat to keep solid. You’ll be wiser for next year.
Definitely 😎
Nice one Taylor. Loved the story about your Dad and the cheap hotels.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video Taylor, very insightful.
Thanks for the tips!
Brilliant vid son, loved the race weekend and hope your arse heals up soon. Best of wishes for the team this weekend.
Hey Taylor,
Thanks for posting such an interesting video.
I can totally understand and emphasize with your predicament whilst in India.
However, please note that there are a few learnings that you should take away from this.
1. Hotels:
Even in a place like London, you can find dingy hotels having rooms and sheets smelling of puke, and blankets feeling like they've never been cleaned.
2. Transportation:
I'm curious about why you had to take a bus from the Airport to your Hotel, to the circuit?
"Noone was allowed to hire a car". Did that mean that you weren't allowed to hire a Uber? Was this enforced on you by your Team Manager/Owner or the Organizer?
Maybe you could throw some light on this.
(Personally, we got an Uber straight from the Airport. Did you know that there's a dedicated Uber Zone inside the Airport?)
3. Delhi Belly:
Ordering food in an Airport lounge isn't something that even we Indians usually do, unless its a cup of coffee.
Cheers!
The comment i was looking for.

Absolutely, I’m sure it will get better year on year!
Really appreciate you giving your unbiased take Taylor. Thank you for this! Hopefully the experience next year is a lot better
Nice Storie time. Good to hear a true perspective of what it’s like.
Absolutely fascinating insight into getting a team to a MotoGP event. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it! 😁
After his experience with Bobby on the visa application, I doubt he would want any "help" from random locals.
What a fantastic, balanced video - if everyone in life let alone MotoGP had such a positive outlook and how to lose weight without working out😂
😂😂
I’m very glad you guys survived and brought the incredible racing of MotoGP to India…
You are a soldier for that
Carry-on!
That’s crazy! But thanks 😁
Nice episode. You are a good story teller 🎉
That’s crazy 😂 but yes I’m glad to be healthy again
Lol, funny story.
1. Pre-plan hotels, there are sketchy hotels in every country in the world.
2. Even if you eat at the fanciest Indian hotel, you are likely to get a Delhi belly. Because curry here is filled with local spices, unlike the curry in the UK.
3. I live in Nepal, and I sometimes dare to eat outside my friend's house on my travels to Delhi. Like you said, I don't know which way to point at the toilet.
It’s wasn’t much fun!
Great video! Been following Motogp for years and would really like to work there in some capacity, but it ia really interesting to hear the "other side of the story" from someone on the inside.

MotoGP Should try the Grand Prix of South Korea at Korea International Circuit
I personally thought that it was a great track to watch everyone race on. No offense to anyone in India, but they aren't really known as a cutting edge or state of the art country and I blame Dorna for their obvious lack of planning to accomodate the lack of infrastructure.
Dorna should take the blame but they wont, theyve already moved onto pressing trousers and new belts and not studying the weather in OZ but recovery wasnt bad except for all the folks who had sunday tickets - yeah - bet they get a refund - bit of a fiasco but the right guy won the GP
Yeah this is why we reached the moon south pole 😂😂
Unfortunately if you know how the bcci is run for cricket, india tried the same thing with F1, i wont be surprised if they will do the same with MotoGP
My advice dont bother until these old money boys have left. They have a old mind set maybe next 20 years i can see a different generation with different ideas
12:24 Formula one just lost the contract with the government of India and MotoGP is racing at Buddh International Circuit
Not an Indian hating, but Poor choices at your end (seems to be lacking accountability)
The race organisers should have given a FAQ sheet if they're not providing basic ammenities like accomodation and food.
Class video, cheers lad, great insight.

Hopefully next year there will be less hassle so that you can explore more of our culture :)
About the hotels, again, there are a lot of options, one should know their way around.
Good shout!
nice video . good to see such a different point of view. im more than ready to be a translator for your team for next year haha.
While it appears again on 24 MotoGP calendar, they’ve already named Hungary as an alternate site, which I’d be beyond shocked if that is not needed by end of year when India announces they will not be hosting a GP in 24
Wild. Thank you very much for the Video!
Thanks for watching!
I still to this day wish that F1 return to Buddh International Circuit. It is one of my favorite circuits in the world
So cool 😎
Noida is where all the big call centres are so there should be good business hotels there for when Western customers visit.
Regarding food we did two weeks in India including motorcycling around the Himalayas and had no issues. Only eat street food you can see being made really hot.
The Visa application window for India for business is 120 days so no excuse for Bobby!
Thanks for the info! Come on Bobby!! 😂😂
Nice Video to share taylor, i hope i can see you sharing also about Mandalika Indonesia
I was there at the south lawn , saw martin crash out in practice in front of us at the parabolica.
I just love how MotoGP (or motorsport as a whole) prioritaze the "modern" circuits. Bring back Brno, Hockenheim etc etc.
Visa & Hotel both experiences could have been smooth...I wish you received good guidance about how to do this. Our generation has to solve this big problem of everything being chaotic in our country. Hope your next visit turns out nice & memorable.
Interesting vid Taylor.
Thanks 🙏
Great video as always! Definitely sack Bobby.
Mad Mark said we might see you on the track next year in the F900, looking forward to it!!

I heard him spill the beans on that, too! That would be epic!🤩
Hi Taylor,
Thanks for coming to India and giving us the show.
Hope you have a smooth trip and good hotels this year!
Totally agree it was a great success!
That’s awesome thanks so much 😁
Sounds like you have the dream job. An interesting look into the behind the scenes of a gp team.

Wow! Thank you for sharing!
Great vid, more please.
Leave it with me 😎

What hotel was this? I thought you guys would be staying in Radisson or Savoy which isn't particularly near to the circuit exactly but it still in Greater Noida!
Man I so wish to be the host/manager for the MotoGP team that didn't have a great time in India this year. I wish to help them just so they don't panic and fall into the negatives during such crucial times. All love from India 💜
Hope you have a great time next year.
I hope so too!
U pay penny and expect the luxury in return ..same things happen everywhere
I believe hunting right hotel and transportation was a failure at your end.
It is not an abandoned circuit mate. Made by Tilke, another masterpiece! I am sure you understand what an amazing track it is! The reason F1 fell out with BIC is due to non payment of taxes! Cheers Taylor. I've been an F1 lad since 2001. :)
Looked pretty abandoned before MotoGP decided to come in.
@@aabidamn local racing series are conducted there plus testing supercars on track day, shooting ads etc. Some international asian competitions are also conducted there.
Nice video, shame about the gut rot on the plane!
Asked your brother on Sunday if he was Taylor Mackenzie's brother just to get the numbers up...
Hire reputed agencies like thomas cook next time guys.
Bro just didn't get right guide for hotels in Noida 😂
